Anger as Kamala Harris abandons her most devoted fans

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris canceled her planned speech to thousands of supporters at Howard University in Washington DC. Something that causes great irritation.

Some had queued and waited for over eight hours for a chance to see and listen to their favorite candidate. On Wednesday night, local time, Kamala Harris was scheduled to address thousands of expectant supporters at the historically black university in the capital.

But time passed, the clock passed midnight, and many began to wonder if the Democratic presidential candidate would ever appear.

"You'll have to wait until tomorrow"
At a quarter to one, local time, instead one of Harris's campaign associates, Cedric Richmond, stepped on stage and announced that the expectant supporters had waited in vain.

- You will not hear the vice president tonight. But you will hear her tomorrow. She'll be back tomorrow, he promised.

The announcement came as a big disappointment to Harris supporters. Many believe it is unworthy of a presidential candidate not to even show up and thank her most devoted fans for their support, even if she didn't win the election.

The irritation was palpable among the Harris supporters who left the event, with some clearly announcing that they will not want to listen to Harris tomorrow after her behavior.

- We are not coming back! We will not be back! chanted a man into a megaphone.
