There’s bad news for anyone hoping to get their hands on a new AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D gaming CPU, as the stock situation doesn’t look as though it’s going to be fixed any time soon. In fact, UK tech retailer Overclockers has decided to be straight-up honest with its customers, admitting that it’s not expecting decent stock of the new processor until next year. We loved this new AMD chip when we benchmarked it in our Ryzen 7 9800X3D review, with its extra clock speed and Zen 5 architecture combining to make a formidable gaming CPU that can also cope with hefty multi-threaded workloads.
