Unknown to his fans and audience at the event, the 74-year-old, who has a long list of previous injuries, suffered a fall on his way to get dinner just hours before his show. He was staying at a hotel on a hill, but the restaurant was located at the bottom. Instead of taking a 1.5-mile walk because he didn’t have a car, Leno decided to take a shorter route. However, this decision led to a tumble down the hill, with his head hitting a rock. “I am all black and blue from 60 feet of hitting rocks,” he lamented.  Despite the severity of his injuries, the comedian was determined not to disappoint his audience. “When you have 2,600 people waiting on you, the show must go on, he said.” He waited till after his show before seeking medical attention, brushing off his injuries as not a “big deal.” Jay Leno/Youtube video screenshot Fans are worried about his health While many have praised Leno for his strength and dedication to fans, there has also been increased concern about his health and safety. The former Tonight Show host has stacked up quite a number of critical injuries in the last couple of years. In January 2023, he was knocked off his bike, which left him with fractures in multiple parts of his body.
