Assassin’s Creed Shadows Steam page confirms Denuvo DRM and account linking

Far Cry 6, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, AC Mirage, and other Ubisoft games all use Denuvo Anti-Tamper, and require players to connect their Steam accounts to Ubisoft Connect - and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be no different. According to the new listing for the stealth RPG that has just appeared on Valve’s store, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will also require players using Steam to link their account to Ubisoft Connect. The game is also protected by Denuvo, a third-party DRM (digital rights management) solution that is used by a variety of triple-A developers today.
