I’ve got nothing but respect for the effort Starbreeze continues to put into Payday 3. At the tail end of 2023, all seemed lost for the sequel, especially when compared to the ongoing success of Payday 2, but that’s slowly been turning around. Starbreeze has spent this year chipping away at some of the shooter’s most severe problems while adding fresh content to keep players coming back.
