There are plenty of reasons to transfer your profile from one Netflix account to a different subscription. Maybe you're moving away from home and want to create a different Netflix handle than your parents. Maybe it's marriage, divorce, or any other type of relationship that involves leaving one place or joining another. And maybe it's just Netflix's more aggressive password-sharing crackdown that's finally convinced you to stop freeloading. Of course, you could always ditch Netflix altogether and use free streaming apps instead. But if you want to stay with Netflix, we'll make it easy for you to move your profiles. As long as you share your Netflix account with someone else, there are only two ways to continue accessing that account. One is to live with that person at the same address. Or, you have to pay to have an extra member on the main person's account. Netflix started enforcing the password-sharing ban in the summer of 2023. At the time, the company also created a tool that lets you export your profile to a new account.
