Now that Windblown, the new roguelike from original Dead Cells developer Motion Twin, has been out for some time, the first feature patch of the game's Steam Early Access period is almost here. I've been thoroughly enjoying Motion Twin's isometric co-op spin on what it does best, but there's been one looming problem. The current Sudden Death mechanic, which activates when a co-op ally dies, is far too brutal. With Windblown's first big patch of new features, though, that's going to change.
