After much waiting, Delta Force has finally arrived on our doorsteps. The free Steam game offers two core modes, as developer Team Jade pitches its stand as a rival to both the grand-scale multiplayer of Battlefield and the tactical extraction FPS format of Escape From Tarkov. But a third pillar is on the way - a recreation of the campaign from 2003’s Delta Force Black Hawk Down, the fifth instalment of the original NovaLogic-developed series. It’s based on the 1993 conflict in Somalia that’s also seen in the Ridley Scott film of the same name, and we’ll be able to play it right at the top of 2025.
