Iron Maiden Drummer Retires

Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain has announced his retirement from touring. The 72-year-old musician has been a member of Maiden for more than four decades. His run with the band concludes with a (12/7) concert in Sao Paulo. “It is with both sorrow and joy, I announce my decision to take a step back from the grind of the extensive touring lifestyle,” stated McBrain. He joined Iron Maiden in 1982. His first album with the band was “Peace Of Mind,” which dropped the following year. He is heard on over a dozen Maiden albums with the most recent being “Senjutsu” in ’21. ### The post Iron Maiden Drummer Retires appeared first on RockinTown.
