The sweet note in a child’s handwriting is a true symbol of the meaning of the Christmas season. According to Today, Princess Kate shared a letter, obtained by Sky News, ahead of Together At Christmas with those invited to attend. She made it a point to remind attendees that everyone has hardships, but that with the love and caring of others, we can all overcome them. “Love is the light that can shine bright, even in our darkest times,” the princess wrote. “We all have something we can offer one another. Gentle words or a receptive ear, an arm around an exhausted shoulder, or silently being by someone’s side.” The Together At Christmas event will air in the United Kingdom on Christmas Eve.
