One bear really has it out for the Grinch this holiday season! Florida resident Shanick Suarez was initially confused when her inflatable version of the green cartoon character went missing from her porch. However, when she discovered what had happened, she couldn’t stop laughing! She got her first clue when a neighbor found the discarded decoration down the block. Shanick returned the inflatable to its rightful place with one minor change. As she explained to WBBH, this time she put it somewhere her security camera would be able to record its movements. Sure enough, she received a notification at three o’clock in the morning that something was stirring outside her home. What she saw in the footage shocked her. A bear was making off with the Grinch! Watch the hilarious security cam footage of this burgling bear! “I never expected it to be a bear!” the woman told WBBH. “I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I literally, like, text my husband. I’m like, ‘What is going on?’ We were texting back and forth, just rewatching the video, sending it to all of our family and friends at five in the morning.” Later, Shanick went outside to survey the damage. She discovered that the determined bear had chewed through the cable in order to steal the Grinch (yes, we’re aware of the irony). However, the animal hadn’t quite been able to pull off the holiday caper, instead leaving the inflatable behind. Sadly, Shanick had to throw it away as it was no longer usable. On the bright side, at least this woman was able to solve the mystery of her disappearing Christmas decoration! When temperatures reached below 60 degrees, she refused to come in for her Dad. The argument that resulted from her stubbornness is quite typical of cold-weather breeds. Please note that Ivy’s aggressive wrestling is an acceptable play routine. Her Dad assures us they play rough and that Ivy knows her limits. When she “bites,” she does not clamp down. Round one of this saga ended with Ivy still on the couch. She accidentally punched her Dad’s phone while they were wrestling for superiority. Round two began with Ivy finally off the couch. However, she was clearly in the mood to play outside. She still had plenty of feistiness stored up and ready to avoid going inside. As kids, we loved watching Kevin McCallister booby trap his family’s house in Home Alone, subsequently torturing Harry and Marv. Even when we were young, we could tell the McCallisters had some money saved up somewhere to afford such nice digs. As adults, our curiosity grew. Not only do we wonder what the heck they did for a living, but a lot of us wonder what the mortgage would be on a house so spectacular. Well, we have an idea for the first time in over a decade. The iconic Home Alone house in Winnetka, IL, wants a new owner. It’s changed a lot since the 1990s, but one thing is for sure, its value has skyrocketed.
