The king wore a grey suit, and the queen an elegant royal blue gown. According to their Instagram account, King Charles and Queen Camilla took the Christmas card picture in April. The photo was taken two months after Buckingham Palance announced the king had prostate cancer. Shortly after his cancer diagnosis, it was revealed Princess Kate also had cancer. It has been a challenging year for the royal family, but everyone appears in good health and spirits ahead of Christmas. King Chares and Queen Camilla’s Christmas card photographer commented on the Instagram post, “Happy Christmas to Their Majesties – truly honoured that they should choose one of my photos for their card.” “Happy Christmas too, TM, the king and Queen, and all members of the royal family,” a follower said.
