On paper, the idea of League of Legends’ new Exalted skins isn’t necessarily a bad one. As Riot Games said itself, it wants to let its developers cook and create high-quality, super-rare, and unique-feeling cosmetic items that can only be obtained through a new, gacha-like mechanic. When you look at so many of the biggest PC games around, such a concept shouldn’t be too controversial. However, Riot’s first attempt - an Arcane-inspired Exalted Jinx skin - has had a pretty rough reception.
