Ontario prepared to stop exporting electricity to U.S. if Trump follows through on tariffs, Ford says

Ontario would be prepared to cut off electricity exports to the United States, Ontario premier Doug Ford said Wednesday following a meeting between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the provinces over Donald Trump’s tariff threat. He said Ontario is also preparing a list of retaliatory tariffs that could be enacted on the Americans if the U.S. follows through, including cutting off energy supply sent south of the border.
