The WHITE RABBIT - The CANCER INDUSTRY & STILL NO CURE?

UTL COMMENT:- Cancer research was an industry without a product. Cures to many, if not all cancers, have been discovered many times over with those results being suppressed and destroyed.

A Day In Rock: September 30th, 1988 – John Lennon Is Honored

On this day thirty-six years ago… John Lennon gets a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a crowd of 1,500 spontaneously broke into the chorus of “Give Peace a Chance,” a star for John Lennon was unveiled by his widow, Yoko Ono, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a crowd of 1,500 spontaneously broke into the chorus of “Give Peace a Chance,” a star for John Lennon was unveiled by his widow, Yoko Ono, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “This star, hopefully, will go on for many, many centuries to come, for people to come and tou.ch John’s spirit,” declared Ono, who choked up during her brief remarks to the enthusiastic crowd. The installation ceremony for Lennon was held just north of the Capitol Records Tower on Vine Street. (Capitol was The Beatles’ U.S. record label.) As the founder and leader of The Beatles, who later embarked on a successful and highly personal solo career, Lennon helped spark a cultural revolution through his words and music. He was the 1,877th star on the Walk of Fame. Since then, Lennon’s Beatle bandmates – George Harrsion (2009), Ringo Starr (2010) and Paul McCartney (2012) – have had stars installed adjacent to Lennon’s. McCartney was selected in 1993 but didn’t have a star installed for nearly two decades. ### The post A Day In Rock: September 30th, 1988 – John Lennon Is Honored appeared first on RockinTown.

Grudge Matches, Beefs, and Rivalries Petty and Grand of Famous Historic Figures

A grudge can crop up for trifling reasons, only to take on a life of its own and get serious as a heart attack. Sometimes a grudge can be petty, like the time when Rick James almost beat up Prince because he was jealous of the Purple One. Sometimes, not so much, like the time ...

The UN’s abject failure has one primary cause – Western imperialism

by Eric Zuesse, Strategic Culture: This week, the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations was held on the brink of world war. It should prompt pause and inquiry why an organization formed 79 years ago at the end of World War Two to prevent future wars is such a failure. Unbridled Western imperialism is […]

Faith-Based Groups Better at Solving Social Challenges Than Government, CEO Says

Americans have a responsibility to be civically engaged in their communities and when it comes to solving social challenges, faith-based communities have the best track record, according to Stacy Blakeley, the CEO of The Policy Circle.  During a study examining the foster care and refugee crises today, The Policy Circle, a nonprofit dedicated to encouraging civic engagement, discovered that “faith-based groups [be they Christian, Jewish, or other] had a remarkable ability to solve for the social challenges in our communities,” Blakeley tells “The Daily Signal Podcast.”  This begs the question, according to Blakeley, why are faith communities “so much more effective, for instance, than a government program?” That question led The Policy Circle to launch the Faith and Civic Life Initiative to explore the role religious organizations can, and should, play in addressing some of America’s greatest challenges.  The new initiatives kicks off Monday with an event at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., with Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin.  Blakele joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to share the unique mission and history of The Policy Circle and how Americans across the country can take part in the Faith and Civic Life Initiative. Harris Campaign Admits Kamala Is Losing Key States, Falling Behind in Desperate Email to Supporters

Tell the world that your internal polling looks horrible without telling the world that your internal polling looks horrible. For reasons that perhaps only they could explain, Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign operatives sent out a fundraising email Thursday highlighting recent New York Times/Siena College polls that showed her trailing...

This'll Embarrass Harris: 'Argentine Trump' Rent Policies Are Opposite of Kamala's - Prices Are Plummeting

If you have ever enjoyed the privilege of visiting Buenos Aires, Argentina, as I did years ago, and taken the long ferry ride across the sprawling Rio De La Plata to the charming town of Colonia del Sacramento in neighboring Uruguay, then you surely appreciate the aesthetic wonder of South...

Amazon Taken to Task for 'Disgusting' Kissing Scene in Embattled 'Lord of the Rings' Show

Any time a beloved piece of fiction gets serialized or modernized for contemporary airwaves, fans really just ask for one thing. And that's some adherence or respect for the source material. Seriously. Good acting, solid production values and coherent directing are almost secondary to simply respecting the source material. Shows...

New 'Robocop' Television Series Reportedly in the Works: Here's Why There's Plenty of Cause for Concern

Few sci-fi films quite captured the zeitgeist like seminal 1987 film "RoboCop." (Few films have been as prescient either, given the state of Detroit in both the movie and in real life.) The film, which is about a fatally injured police officer given a second lease on life thanks to...
