TAYLOR COUNTY, Fla. - A Florida sheriff offered dire advice to residents who chose not to or were unable to evacuate ahead of Hurricane Helene’s arrival. The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office urged those who stayed behind to write their name, birthday and other important information on an arm or leg in permanent marker.
