Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong (pictured) is not happy that the Oakland A’s baseball team is moving to Las Vegas. During a concert at San Francisco’s Oracle Park on September 20th the East Bay native told the crowd, ““I (expletive) hate Las Vegas. It’s the worst (expletive) hole in America.” As a result, a pair of Vegas radio stations (KOMP-FM and KXTE-FM) have decided to remove the band from their rotations saying, “good riddance.”   The A’s have resided in Oakland since 1968 but last year Major League Baseball team owners approved the relocation of the team with a new stadium being built in Las Vegas that’s expected to open in 2028.
