Are Both Lue Elizondo and AARO Sincere in Their Reports About UAPs?

NewsNation and the New York Post reported that Lue Elizondo, a former intelligence officer for the Department of Defense, alleges that “The United States has been involved in the recovery of objects, vehicles of unknown origin that are neither from our country or any other foreign country that we’re aware of.” He claims that one of the two spacecraft in possession of the Department of Defense is from the crash site of Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. In his interview with NewsNation, Elizondo stated: “We as a nation have been interested in not only the vehicles themselves but the occupants of these vehicles; to include biological specimens… We’re not alone… The U.S. government has been aware of that fact for decades.” Elizondo added that “The American people have a right to know about the presence of UAPs in our skies.” Elizondo reiterated these themes on Joe Rogan’s podcast, released the same day as his new book, Imminent.” The puzzling appearance of unfamiliar objects in the sky was admitted publicly by U.S. government officials. Reports on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) by the Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, led in 2022 to the establishment of a new office in the Department of Defense, called the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). The official statement from AARO is: “To date, AARO has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently.” The key word in this statement is `extraterrestrial’. There is a world in which both Elizondo and AARO are sincere in their reports. In that world, the UAPs are unfamiliar to National Intelligence agencies in the U.S. but they are human-made. The retrieval and reverse engineering programs that Elizondo and David Grusch testified about do exist. These programs study crash sites of vehicles produced by adversarial nations. Luis “Lue” Elizondo is the former director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), the secretive Pentagon unit that studied UFOs. In that case, the medical damage caused in encounters with UAPs might be related to human-made technologies akin to the Havana Syndrome, and any biological entities recovered in crash sites were terrestrial. The concentration of UAPs near nuclear or military assets is a natural byproduct of espionage. Some of the advanced technologies displayed by UAPs are unknown to U.S. corporations and labeled as anomalous just to hide the confusion about their terrestrial origin. In that world, the apparent vulnerability of the U.S. to national security threats explains why the Department of Defense would suppress disclosure of related details. Any public admission about the unknown terrestrial origin of UAPs would serve the military interests of adversarial nations who produced them. The fundamental question is whether we live in that world where both Lue Elizondo and AARO are sincere. Yes, there are UAPs in the sky and there are programs for recovery and reverse engineering of debris from crash sites. But while admitting their existence, the Department of Defense and the Director of National Intelligence prefer not to disclose the classified information about the unknown terrestrial origin of some of these remarkable objects. They would rather keep the public confused. Even AARO admitted that they do not have sufficient data to clarify the nature of a few percent of all UAPs. To find out whether we live in a world in which both Elizondo and AARO are sincere, scientists need to collect their own high-quality scientific data. Neither the sky nor our oceans are classified. The Galileo Project is currently operating a new observatory at Harvard University and constructing two other observatories to watch the entire sky continuously for any UAPs. So far, we identified a million objects in the sky and are currently analyzing them. A year ago, I led a Galileo Project expedition to the Pacific Ocean which retrieved anomalous materials from the crash site of the interstellar meteor, IM1, identified by the U.S. Space Command as originating from outside the Solar System. We are planning a second expedition in a year to find large pieces from this anomalous interstellar object, which was moving faster than 95% of the stars near the Sun and was made of a material tougher than iron meteorites from the Solar System. In 2025, the Rubin Observatory in Chile will start surveying the Southern Sky with a 3.2 gigapixel camera. The Galileo Project research team is currently developing the software that could discover new UAPs and interstellar objects in the unprecedented data stream over the next decade. Scientific quality data is the key for clarifying whether UAPs are extraterrestrial. Shortly after news reports, I was asked in a TV interview on NewsNation: “Is Elizondo a credible whistleblower?” I hope to know in the coming years. As a scientist I can only respond to direct evidence of scientific quality, which I hope to collect with the Galileo Project. The other question was: “Can humanity handle the truth?” I regard this question as irrelevant, since it is always beneficial to know the truth about our cosmic neighborhood. Humanity went through similar learning experiences before. When Nicolaus Copernicus and Galileo Galilei showed scientific evidence that we are not at the center of the Universe, the Church responded by listing Copernicus’ book De Revolutionibus as a forbidden book until the 19th century and placing Galileo in house arrest. This delay tactics to protect the public from scientific evidence did not work out. In 1992, the Vatican admitted that Galileo was right. This was 23 years after humans landed on the Moon. Earlier this year, I gave a public lecture in Torun, Poland, the birth town of Nicolaus Copernicus. The title of my lecture was: “The Next Copernican Revolution.” A day before this event, I attended the Munich Security Conference through a Q&A forum about the search for extraterrestrial technological civilizations, led by the brilliant Rolf Dobelli, founder of WORLD.MINDS. The back-to-back schedule of these two events signifies the two facets of UAPs represented by Elizondo and AARO. I am doing my best to resolve the tension between them with the best tools of science at my disposal. ABC's 'Grey's Anatomy' Defends Climate Change Radicals Who Block Bridges

A new season of ABC's Grey's Anatomy premiered last night with an episode that justified climate change protesters blocking traffic and breaking laws. Thursday's episode, "If Walls Could Talk," begins with the cast of doctors late for their shifts at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital because climate change protesters have blocked a bridge. Emergency doctors unable to get to work should normally be a big deal, but the show brushes it off with excuses.  On the bridge, Dr. Atticus "Link" Lincoln (Chris Carmack) tells his girlfriend Jo (Camilla Luddington) that it will be a while before they can get across. Link, who does not know Jo is pregnant, seems unbothered by the blockage. Link: Yeah, we're gonna be here a while. They shut down the whole bridge for the protesters. [Exhales sharply ] You okay? Jo: Yeah. I'm fine.  Link: You sure? You look...weird.  Jo: Thanks? Link: So... [ Sighs ] ...I Spy or murder podcast? Jo: Actually, there is something that I should talk to you about. So, um... Protester: Save our planet! Solutions, not pollution! Jo: Is that trash? Link: Hey! Stop polluting! Start living! [Chuckles ] What? They're saving the planet. Jo: By throwing trash and risking their lives bungee jumping? Link: Well, these events always attract a few rogue players, but it's the overall message that's important. [Protestors chanting indistinctly.] Jo: Just do your thing already. Link: Do you know what global warming has done to the insect disease vectors? The tick population has exploded. Do you want Lyme disease, Jo? The 10 hottest years have happened in the last decade... Overwrought apolcalyptic predictions about the weather are the last thing a woman with morning sickness wants to hear about. When an idiot protester falls off the bridge and hits a car, emergency surgeons rush to save him. In the surgery room, Dr. Levi Schmitt (Jake Borelli) criticizes the protests. Dr. Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.), a black surgeon, chastises him in response by comparing climate activism to the civil rights movement. Schmitt: I don't see how gluing yourself to a train or blocking a bridge will save us from climate change.  Webber: You tell that to the people who marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge for civil rights. (Looks at nurse Bokhee) GIA stapler, Bokhee. Levi: That is a compelling point, and I apologize.  Schmitt gives up his argument without a fight, instantly caving on his common sense position the moment Dr. Webber brings up the 1965 march in Selma, Alabama. He never even questions Webber's comparison. The episode also includes a climate protester who once worked for an oil company. She feels so guilty that she is now devoting herself to trying to "save the planet." This activist also happens to be a lousy mother. She stresses out her pregnant adult daughter with all her arrests and drama. The activist's narcissism is at least an accurate portrayal of a typical leftist, whether intentional or not. Grey's Anatomy engages in regular left-wing proselytizing with every episode, so much so that its dialogue is often unbearably cringe. Yet it remains popular, now on its twenty-first season. I am sure it will become even more unhinged as the season progresses, especially as election day draws closer.

North Carolina scrubs over 700,000 ineligible voters from rolls in face of another GOP lawsuit

North Carolina scrubs over 700,000 ineligible voters from rolls in face of another GOP lawsuit

Numerous states, including Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, and Virginia, have taken steps in recent months to scrub the dead, foreign nationals, and duplicates off voter rolls ahead of the 2024 election. North Carolina's State Board of Elections revealed Thursday that it too has purged a significant number of ineligible voters from its rolls. According to a release obtained by the North State Journal, North Carolina election officials removed 747,274 ineligible registration records from the state's voter rolls between the start of 2023 and last month. "That's an average of more than 1,200 voter records removed from the voter list every single day during those 20 months," said the board. "The county boards follow careful policies to ensure that only ineligible records are removed, not those of eligible voters." Registrants were removed for a number reasons, including their citizenship status; their inactive status in two federal general elections and failure to respond to mailings from the board to confirm eligibility; their indefinite lack of a pulse; felony convictions; or their request to be removed. Of the over 747,000 registrants removed, 130,688 were dead; 31,242 moved out of state; 246,311 were inactive; and nearly 300,000 were duplicates. 'Call me crazy, but I think American elections should be decided by American citizens.' The board's announcement comes one month after it was slapped with a lawsuit by the Republican National Committee and the North Carolina Republican Party, accused of allowing "over 225,000 people to register to vote with registration forms that failed to collect certain required identification information before the registration forms were processed." According to the complaint, these errors potentially loaded the rolls with ineligible voters, including noncitizens. While it's unclear what impact this cleanup will have on the election, the prevention of voter fraud could go a long way in the state. After all, the Marist North Carolina poll released Thursday indicates that Vice President Kamala Harris and President Donald Trump are presently tied in North Carolina. According to Marist, Trump has the advantage against Harris among those who plan to vote in person — 61% for Trump to 38% for Harris. Meanwhile, Harris leads Trump 62% to 35% among those who said they intend to vote by absentee ballot or mail. Virginia similarly cleared a significant number of foreign nationals from its rolls. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) issued an executive order in early August removing over 6,000 noncitizens who had "accidentally or maliciously attempted to register" to vote. "Call me crazy, but I think American elections should be decided by American citizens and Virginia elections should be decided by Virginians," Youngkin said in an interview. "That's why this executive order is so important because it does make sure that we have clean voter rolls. Trump celebrated the move, noting in a Truth Social post that the Virginia governor is "TAKING A STRONG LEAD IN SECURING THE ELECTION IN NOVEMBER — PROTECTING EVERY LEGAL VOTE AND KEEPING ILLEGAL ALIENS THAT HAVE BEEN LET INTO OUR COUNTRY FROM VOTING." "EVERY STATE SHOULD FOLLOW VIRGINIA'S LEAD," added Trump. Last month, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott announced that Texas had removed over 1 million ineligible voters from the voter rolls. Abbott indicated that among the millions of ineligible voters cleared from the rolls were over 6,500 noncitizens, over 6,000 felons, over 457,000 dead people, and over 463,000 voters on the suspense list. The governor's office indicated that of the 6,500 potential noncitizens removed from the rolls, approximately 1,930 had a voter history. "Illegal voting in Texas will never be tolerated. We will continue to actively safeguard Texans' sacred right to vote while also aggressively protecting our elections from illegal voting," said Abbott. Leftists were of course upset by this effort to bolster election integrity. The ACLU, ACLU of Texas, Protect Democracy, and other progressive groups complained in a late August letter that "eligible Texas voters have likely been erroneously identified as potential noncitizens and purged from the rolls," and that the cleanup likely violated the National Voter Registration Act. Oklahoma is another state that has taken action to ensure that only eligible voters are casting ballots. On Sept. 18, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) announced the removal of over 453,500 voter registrations since Jan. 1, 2021. KFOR-TV reported that among those removed were 97,065 dead people; 143,682 voters who moved out of state; 5,607 felons; 14,993 duplicate registrations; and 194,962 inactive voters canceled during the verification process. Clark County, Nevada, moved over 102,000 voters to inactive status in early August. Republicans claimed responsibility for the purge. "The Nevada Republican Party is proud to announce the successful cleanup of voter rolls in Clark County. This achievement is the result of dedicated efforts by the NVGOP, the Republican National Committee, Trump Campaign, and numerous grassroots organizations, in collaboration with the Nevada Secretary of State and Clark Registrar of Voters," the Nevada GOP said in a statement. The executive board of the Nevada GOP indicated they looked forward "to seeing the results of the voter roll cleanups in the other 16 counties." Earlier this month, the Trump campaign, the RNC, and the Nevada GOP sued Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar (D) for allegedly failing to properly maintain the state's voter rolls, suggesting that they might be laden with noncitizens.
