Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are running neck and neck in Pennsylvania, with the vice president holding a one-point lead over the former president, according to a new poll in the battleground state. Harris, the Democratic nominee, held a 48% to 47% advantage over Republican nominee Trump, with 3% saying they’ll vote for another candidate and only 1% saying they’re not sure. If the poll includes likely voters who say they lean toward a candidate, Harris and Trump are in a deadlock with 49% each. In Pennsylvania’s race for U.S. Senate, incumbent Democrat Bob Casey Jr. had 49% to Republican challenger and businessman David McCormick’s 43%. Casey has been in the Senate since 2007. The survey of 783 likely voters was conducted Sept. 18-20 by RMG Research Inc. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. Nate Silver, an election forecaster, wrote in August on the social media site X that Pennsylvania is “by far the most important state” in the Nov. 5 presidential election. Silver’s analysis then projected that Trump had a 96.1% chance of winning if he took Pennsylvania and Harris had 91% chance if she took the state. A 35% chance existed that Pennsylvania would tip the election, he said. Harris had strong support among nonwhite voters, with 61% having a “very favorable” view of her. Meanwhile, 50% of white voters said they rated Harris “very unfavorable” while 30% called her “very favorable.” Some of Trump’s strongest support came from the 18-34 age group, with 43% rating him as “very favorable.” While 40% of white voters said they rated Trump as “very favorable,” 41% rated him “very unfavorable.” The likely voters surveyed held similar views on Trump and Harris, who replaced President Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket. Both candidates had 36% rate them as “very favorable.” Harris had 44% rate her as “very unfavorable” and Trump had 45% rate him as “very unfavorable.” Fully 83% of voters said they deemed the economy as a “very important” issue; 76% said inflation was “very important.” Only 5% of the likely voters rated the economy as “excellent,” while 46% said it is “poor.” The post Harris, Trump Duking It Out in Critical Pennsylvania, Poll Finds appeared first on The Daily Signal.

A zoo in China was forced to admit that its pandas were just painted dogs after one of the “pandas” started panting and barking. Zoogoers at the Shanwei Zoo realized they were being scammed after one of the “pandas” started panting and barking, the New York Post wrote. A video showed two Chow Chows, obviously painted black and white to appear as pandas, panting on a rock at their zoo enclosure. This left the zoogoers outraged over the discovery. But the zoo initially tried to brush it off, claiming that the animals were a breed of “panda dogs”. However, the zoo later admitted that the animals were indeed dogs, Chow Chows to be specific, painted with black and white dye to look like pandas. Visitors have since demanded a refund from the zoo, which claims that it is home to “rare and exotic animals”. However, the zoo denied that they tried to mislead people as they never claimed the dogs were pandas, reiterating that they were “panda dogs”. This isn’t the first time a zoo in China was caught lying about fake animals. And this isn’t also the first time “panda dogs” went viral on social media, for all the wrong reasons, might we add. A few months ago, another zoo, Taizhou Zoo, sparked fury for the same reason of dyeing Chow Chows to disguise them as pandas. The Daily Mail reports that a zoo spokesperson for Taizhou Zoo said, “There are no panda bears at the zoo and we wanted to do this as a result.” “A lot of people are coming to visit them and you need to queue up,” the spokesperson added. Locals were quick to slam the zoo for their scam and accused them of animal cruelty for dyeing the dogs’ fur. However, the spokesperson for the zoo explained their side regarding the animal cruelty accusations saying, “People also dye their hair. Natural dye can be used on dogs if they have long fur.”

Co-head writer of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and wife of the eponymous host, Molly McNearney, ranted at Donald Trump on Tuesday that “women are dying” because of him and demanded he “shut up and go away” to Mar-a-Lago where he can spend his time “masturbating to Newsmax.” At a recent rally, Trump recalled Kimmel’s time hosting the Oscars, where Kimmel read out a Truth Social post reviewing his performance. Trump also riffed that McNearney begged Kimmel not to read the post. Reacting to all this, Kimmel declared, “But since you think my wife gives good advice, maybe—here she is with some advice. Molly? Please.”     McNearney, who was wearing an "Isn't it past your jail time" shirt in reference to Kimmel’s Oscar performance, began, “Hi, everybody. Donald, thank you for your support. And I'm glad I have your attention because one in three women currently in this country is living under an abortion ban because you stacked our Supreme Court.” By “stacked our Supreme Court,” McNearney simply means that he filled vacancies. However, McNearney was just getting started: Thanks to you, women in 21 states can't make their own choice about their own life and body. And ten U.S. states make no exceptions for rape or incest. The party you run so bigly and beautifully, the party that cares so much about motherhood, just blocked a bill that would protect our access to IVF. Women are dying, and good doctors are quitting, because they can't get or give the reproductive care women desperately need.  Women are not dying because of Trump or pro-lifers. If women are dying, it is because of negligence from medical professionals, not the law’s text. Nobody is moving to ban IVF, but it would be interesting to see McNearney explain why IVF is so awesome if her pro-abortion beliefs lead her to claim that the unborn child isn’t actually a child. As it was, McNearney wrapped up with an angry rant, “So, my advice for you is to shut up and go away. Go to Mar-a-Lago, spend all day, every day, cheating at golf and masturbating to Newsmax, and let a competent woman take over. That's my advice. That's my advice. Thanks for listening.” McNearney has a rather unhumorous approach to comedy. Her approach to Trump is to just rant at him with factually incorrect talking points with shoehorned masturbation references, but mentioning Hillary Clinton’s pantsuit is a bridge too far. If a place is caught using fake reviews, Google will temporarily limit its reviews entirely. | Image: The Verge Google Maps is reeling in business pages engaging in fake reviews, and highlighting such activity to its users. Google will now impose restrictions against business profiles that violate the search giant’s Fake Engagement policy, such as temporarily removing reviews, blocking new reviews or ratings, and displaying a warning message on profiles that have had fake reviews deleted. The business profile restrictions were introduced in the UK earlier this year, but Search Engine Roundtable notes that the support page was updated in mid-September to seemingly apply globally.
