Matt Walsh spent some time this week discussing his hit new comedy, “Am I Racist?” with media personality George Janko and musician Zuby. The conversation with Janko inevitably turned to what sparked the idea for the documentary. Previously, Walsh had starred in the 2022 documentary “What Is a Woman?,” which exposed radical gender theory in society. Walsh said his idea stemmed from the success of “What Is a Woman?” and the simple act of asking that question of so-called gender experts, which “takes down the whole house of cards.”  He said after the movie had “a real impact in the culture,” he was eager to take on another topic, especially since films have longer staying power compared to daily podcasts. “There was a question of, well what’s the next big topic?” Walsh said. “What’s the other big one? It’s pretty clearly race. And so we decided that has to be the topic.”  He also talked about taking a new approach for this film instead of being skeptical and asking questions. “With this, we thought it would be an interesting strategy if instead of being skeptical, I’ll start by asking questions to these race hustlers… and I’ll just believe whatever they tell me. I’ll let them guide me down the rabbit hole.”  “I’ll try to put into practice whatever they say,” Walsh added. “And we’ll see where it takes us. Where do we end up 90 minutes later into the film, if I’m actually believing all this stuff? That’s the journey of the movie.”  Walsh also said making this kind of movie made sense because he’s “contrarian by nature” and for right now, everything in the culture is so wrong that being contrary is actually the correct path. The podcast host and documentary star also appeared on “The Real Talk with Zuby” podcast to delve into details about the film. Zuby agreed with so many other reviewers, saying “Am I Racist” is “genuinely hilarious.” The pair spent some time talking about how Walsh was able to access some of the guests, and he said it all came down to one thing: money. “This thing is a grift; it’s a scam,” Walsh told Zuby. “We fully embraced the fact that we paid them. I think maybe they get dollar signs in their eyes and they’re willing to overlook things that would otherwise be red flags.” He also mentioned the “bubble” that most self-professed DEI experts live in, saying they aren’t even aware of people who disagree with them. “They live very insulated lives,” Walsh added. “To them it’s kind of unthinkable that they’d ever be in a room with anyone who would challenge them or try to expose them,” he said. Zuby said he was “amazed” that Walsh was able to speak with “White Fragility” author Robin DiAngelo, which Walsh said he did by wearing a very simple disguise and even using his real name.  The “Am I Racist?” star said DiAngelo was on the “wish list” when he and the crew first figured out what kind of movie to make, but he didn’t imagine they’d be able to get her. As for the motivations of the anti-racist followers, Walsh gave his thoughts on why they’re motivated to do what they do.  “I think that all of them have to believe it at some level, like psychologically… I think 75%, it’s a full on grift for them, where they know what they’re saying isn’t true, and there’s a 25% where they tell themselves that a lot of this stuff isn’t true, a lot of this stuff might be surface level harmful, but it’s for the greater good, and so this is what we have to do.” “I do think they believe in their own moral superiority,” he added. “Am I Racist?” debuted at number four at the box office alongside major Hollywood productions with much higher production and marketing budgets, The Daily Wire previously reported. The film currently has a 98% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is Certified Hot on the site’s popcorn meter, which means at least 500 of those reviews come from verified ticket purchasers. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said over the weekend that he is most concerned about foreign actors interfering in U.S. elections by introducing deep fakes that go viral on social media and end up tilting who people vote for before the videos can be debunked. Rubio, the vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, made the remarks during a Sunday CBS News interview on “Face The Nation” with Margaret Brennan. He said that the scenario that he worries about is in the 48 hours before an election where a foreign action could release “fake audio or fake video generated using A.I.” that could influence the results of the election. “In very close races, it could tip the scales,” he said. “I do think all the way around, here’s the bottom line. If you see something out there, a video that just seems way too scandalous, I would pause for a second and make sure that it can be verified. That’s my advice to everybody is, don’t just believe something you see for the first time. It may have been something that happened five years ago, and they’re making it look like it happened yesterday.” “It may be something that – that has been made up using an A.I. mechanism to do so,” he continued. “And so that would be my advice to people as well. Again, I’m not saying 48 hours before the election is irrelevant in America. I am saying it’s probably less impactful than it is in some of these other countries, who don’t have mail voting, early voting, where so many of the votes are already in by then.” He then warned that the foreign operations targeting American elections could have their greatest impact at the congressional-level. “I think some of these lower ballot races are the ones that are particularly more susceptible, because, if you’re running for Congress or Senate somewhere, let’s say a congressional seat, and someone dumps something like this on you, it’s much harder to get the truth out there in time for it to be cleared up,” he said. “There just isn’t going to be as much interest, and there isn’t going to be as much people covering it.” WATCH:

Former President Donald Trump ruled out running again for president in 2028 if he does not win November’s election against Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump made the remarks in an interview that aired Sunday on “Full Measure” with host Sharyl Atkisson. “If you’re not successful this time, do you see yourself running again in four years?” Atkisson asked. “No, I don’t. No, I don’t,” Trump said. “I think that that will be, that will be it. I don’t see that at all.” Trump said that he does not think that it will come to that because he believes that he will be successful with his current campaign. Polls currently show a very tight race between Trump and Harris that is going to come down to just a handful of swing states where there is little distance between the two candidates in the polls. Angela Alsobrooks, the Democrat Party’s U.S. Senate nominee in Maryland, saved thousands of dollars in taxes by taking tax breaks that she did not legally for, according to a new report. CNN reported that for more than 10 years she claimed a homestead tax exemption on a home she owned in Washington, D.C. — and a home she owned in Maryland — that can only apply to a person’s primary residence, not multiple residences. She also reportedly saved $14,000 in taxes over a 12 year period on her home in D.C. by “using tax exemptions meant for the district’s primary residents, lower income residents and senior citizens,” the report said. By “violating state and local tax relief requirements”, she reportedly cut her tax bill in half. She received a homestead exemption on the property that she owned in Maryland starting in 2008, even though she eventually started renting it out. She is estimated to have saved thousands of dollars in taxes by claiming the homestead exemption, even though she did not qualify for it. An adviser for Alsobrooks claimed that she had no idea of the alleged violations but that her lawyers were working with the relevant authorities to rectify the problem. Alsobrooks’ campaign tried to throw dirt at her opponent, former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, claiming that he also got a tax break on his home in 2016 while living in the governor’s mansion. However, the report noted that governors and federal officials are excluded from the residency requirements. The Maryland Republican Party called for an investigation into Alsobrooks over CNN’s report, saying that she may have committed fraud. “Angela Alsobrooks saved thousands in taxes by fraudulently claiming tax deductions that she was not eligible for on multiple properties in Prince George’s County and DC,” the state party said. “Marylanders deserve to have all of the facts about this alleged fraud before they vote. There needs to be a full investigation before the election.”

They performed an incredible dance to Justin Timberlake’s Cry Me A River, which amazed the judges. After completing their set during the finals on September 17, judge Howie Mandel praised the group, calling them “mesmerizing.” He pointed to their choreographer, Paris Cav, and said, “That lady right there, you are the van Gogh of choreography.” He then looked to the stage and declared, “You are the van Gogh of dancers.” Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell agreed, with each judge complimenting the group. Simon said, “You’re like a machine, and it’s so brilliant. And now, you’ve put yourself in a place where you could walk away winning this show.” Fans of Brent Street loved their performance and the judges’ commentary. Someone wrote, “With so much originality, creativity, the incredible amount of work it takes for an epic show like this… you deserve to win.” This person agreed, giving a shout-out to Paris, “These guys are absolutely incredible. The amount of dedication each artist puts into their craft is mesmerizing. also PARIS CAV.
