Gender envy is an underexplored phenomenon that appears to impact how men and women see one another.

A video from Colombia shows what appears to be a flying unidentified orb-like object causing a violent event. The footage (see below), originally shared on Reddit by user kamm03, went largely unnoticed at the time, but recently gained renewed attention after reports of UAP sightings began trickling in around the world. Captured by a CCTV camera overlooking a driveway, the video begins innocently with a man walking up a staircase and entering his front door. Suddenly, a fast-moving orb-like object streaks in from the left side of the frame, seemingly colliding with the door. In the same instant, the man is hurled backward with startling force, tumbling over the railing and landing in his driveway. “So this happened a few days ago in my hometown in Colombia. A really fast and strange object knocked a man down to the floor thru the stairs. He had 24 stitches at the hospital. I wouldn’t classify this as an orbe as some my friends think neither an animal, what do you guys think?” he asks. The aftermath shows bystanders rushing to help the man, who was reportedly knocked unconscious and later required over 24 stitches at a local hospital. The author of the video also added that “I was told that the man does not remember anything about it.” The orb’s rapid motion, combined with its apparent trajectory, has led some to wonder if the phenomenon might be linked to the same unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) increasingly observed and reported around the globe. At 18:58:04 in the video (just as the timer transitions to 4 seconds), a small white dot becomes visible. Using the video scrubber frame by frame, you can observe the dot moving swiftly across the screen. It appears, disappears momentarily, and reappears behind the cement mixer positioned to the left of the car. From there, it arcs around and seemingly collides with the man at the doorway. To help pinpoint its movement, I’ve circled the initial position of the dot in the attached image. If you use the scrubber carefully, moving back and forth between seconds 03 and 04, you’ll notice the dot shifts from the circled spot to just behind the cement mixer. At this point, the dot becomes noticeably larger before swinging around to strike the man. Here’s what stands out: the dot doesn’t just grow slightly—it grows significantly. This rapid size increase raises questions about what we’re observing. While the “bug” theory has been suggested, it doesn’t account for the dramatic size change or the apparent trajectory of the object. The distance the dot travels is relatively short given the speed it emerges, and the notion of an insect growing larger before striking someone seems implausible. Even if we assume that the video’s author is misleading us and that someone inside the house physically pushed the man, this explanation still raises a critical question: What could have generated such immense force to propel him out the door with such velocity? Could this object be a terrestrial anomaly, or might it share similarities with the mysterious flying objects seen in the skies? Image: Getty Vodafone and Three have been cleared to create the UK’s biggest mobile operator after committing to address concerns around network upgrades and price hikes. The proposed £16.5 billion merger (about $20.9 billion) was approved by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) on Thursday following months of regulatory scrutiny, and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025. “Having carefully considered the evidence, as well as the extensive feedback we have received, we believe the merger is likely to boost competition in the UK mobile sector and should be allowed to proceed – but only if Vodafone and Three agree to implement our proposed measures,” Stuart McIntosh, chair of the inquiry group leading the antitrust investigation, said in a statement. The approval was subject to both companies signing binding commitments to invest billions into expanding their combined 5G network over the next eight years. The agreement also requires the new entity to cap some mobile tariffs and offer preset contractual terms to mobile virtual network operators for three years, addressing previous CMA concerns that the merger could harm competition and lead to higher prices for customers. “Today’s approval releases the handbrake on the UK’s telecoms industry, and the increased investment will power the UK to the forefront of European telecommunications,” Vodafone CEO Margherita Della Valle said in a statement. The plan to combine two of the country’s top four mobile operators was first announced in 2023, and will create a network with 27 million customers once complete. Vodafone will own 51 percent of the merged entity, and is expected to buy out the remaining 49 percent after three years. The deal follows similar large-scale mergers between companies like Orange and T-Mobile in 2010, and Virgin Mobile and O2 in 2021.
