Former UN Ambassador and GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley will host a new weekly show on SiriusXM. Called “Nikki Haley Live,” the show will start airing on SiriusXM Triumph channel 111 on September 25 and will run at least through the presidential inauguration in January 2025. “Each week Haley will analyze and simplify the week’s most significant headlines – including the upcoming election, hotspots around the world, U.S. policy, and even some music and entertainment – offering her insights and engaging in conversations with key figures,” SiriusXM stated. “The American people are smart,” Haley declared. “They’re sick of distractions in DC and noise from the mainstream media. After challenging former President Donald Trump for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, Haley endorsed him at the Republican National Convention in July. She made an attempt to bring Americans who had disagreements with Trump to vote for him, stating: For the sake of our nation, we have to go with Donald Trump. … We should acknowledge that there are some Americans who don’t agree with Donald Trump 100% of the time. I happen to know some of them, and I want to speak to them tonight. My message to them is simple. You don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him. Take it from me. I haven’t always agreed with President Trump, but we agree more often than we disagree. We agree on keeping America strong. We agree on keeping America safe. And we agree that Democrats have moved so far to the left that they’re putting our freedoms in danger. I’m here tonight because we have a country to save, and a unified Republican Party is essential for saving her. Then she segued to Trump’s record: For those who have some doubts about President Trump, I want to tell you a few things about the commander in chief I know and worked with. As ambassador to the United Nations, I had a front row seat to his national security policies. We sure could use those again. Think about it. When Barack Obama was president, Vladimir Putin invaded Crimea. With Joe Biden as president, Putin invaded all of Ukraine. But when Donald Trump was President, Putin did nothing. No invasions, no invasions, no wars. That was no accident. Putin didn’t attack Ukraine because he knew Donald Trump was tough. A strong president doesn’t start wars. A strong president prevents wars. Then look at the Middle East. Every problem in that part of the world can be laid at the feet of Iran. Iran was too weak to start any wars. They knew Trump met business and they were afraid. And then there’s Joe Biden. He lifted the sanctions. He begged them to get back into the nuclear deal. He surrendered in Afghanistan. He sent every possible sign of weakness. Even now, while Hamas is still holding Americans hostage, Biden is pressuring Israel instead of the terrorists. Between Israel and Hamas, Donald Trump is clear about who is our friend and who is our enemy. Then look at the border. It’s the single biggest face… It’s the single biggest threat Americans face. Under Joe Biden, migrants are coming into our country by the thousands every day. We have no idea who they are, where they end up, or what they plan to do. And let me remind you, Kamala had one job, one job, and that was to fix the border. Now, imagine her in charge of the entire country. Under Donald Trump, we didn’t have the border disaster we have today, and we won’t when he is president again.

A Pakistani national with ties to Iran pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges related to an Iranian plot to assassinate former President Donald Trump. A federal judge in Brooklyn ordered Asif Merchant detained pending trial at the Monday hearing in which Merchant pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to commit an act of terrorism transcending national boundaries and taking part in a murder-for-hire plot, according to ABC News. Merchant pleaded not guilty the same day that another man suspected of targeting Trump for assassination appeared in a federal court in West Palm Beach, Florida. That man, who was arrested shortly after allegedly fleeing from a sniper spot at Trump International Golf Course, was arraigned on charges of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number. The Iranian-backed assassination plot allegedly involving Merchant is unrelated to the Florida assassination attempt. Am I Racist? Is In Theaters NOW — Get Your Tickets Here! “This dangerous murder-for-hire plot was allegedly orchestrated by a Pakistani national with close ties to Iran and is straight out of the Iranian regime’s playbook,” FBI Director Christopher Wray said in a statement last week. “A foreign-directed plot to kill a public official, or any U.S. citizen, is a serious threat to our national security and will be met with the full might and resources of the FBI. Protecting Americans from terrorists remains our highest priority.” Merchant arrived in the U.S. in April planning to orchestrate a plot to kill Trump, according to prosecutors. Merchant allegedly outlined the plan with someone soon after believing that the person could help him carry it out. That person later reported Merchant’s behavior to the FBI and became a confidential source. In June, Merchant allegedly met with men he believed to be hitmen but who were actually U.S. law enforcement officers in New York. The Pakistani paid the men $5,000 in advance for them to kill Trump before making arrangements to leave the United States, according to prosecutors. Law enforcement arrested Merchant on July 12.  

Thousands of pagers used by Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon exploded simultaneously in their hands and pockets on Tuesday without warning. Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad said more than 2,700 people were injured — 200+ of whom are in critical condition — and at least eight people were killed. The Wall Street Journal reported that the Iranian-backed terrorist group received the pagers in a new shipment in recent days. While it was not immediately clear what caused them to explode, it is believed that they were infected with malware that intentionally caused them to overheat and detonate, according to The Wall Street Journal. The report claimed that seven people were killed in the blasts. The incident comes as the terrorist group has fired thousands of rockets, missiles, and suicide drones at Israel over the last year following Hamas’ unprecedented terrorist attack, where they killed 1,200 people inside Israel on October 7. Israel’s intelligence services announced on Tuesday that they had foiled a plan by Hezbollah to assassinate a former senior Israeli security official using a remotely detonated explosive device that was supposed to occur in the next few days.

Hip-hop artist and producer Pharrell Williams said during a recent interview that he has no interest in getting involved in politics — and he sometimes gets “annoyed” by the whole scenario when he sees other celebrities throwing around endorsements.
