'Shut Up JD!' Whoopi RAGES at Vance Over Taylor Swift Criticism

ABC moderator Whoopi Goldberg had an absolute meltdown on Thursday’s edition of The View, when she flipped out on Ohio Senator and GOP vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance. His crime? He dared to state the fact the billionaires like singer Taylor Swift were not noticeably harmed by the current poor economic conditions and high inflation because they can still easily afford necessities and more. Without any actual evidence, Goldberg proclaimed that Swift endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris had “upset snowflakes” on the right. What she claimed was evidence, was just a clip of Vance explaining that billionaires don’t feel economic hardship like average Americans do. Of course, Goldberg’s approach to addressing the light criticism had all the maturity of an elementary school child: GOLDBERG: The Republicans are not happy that Taylor Swift is endorsing Harris, like vice presidential candidate [makes fart sound with her mouth] J.D. Vance. Watch. [Cuts to video] SEN. JD VANCE (R-OH): We admire Taylor Swift's music but I don't think most Americans, whether they like her music or are fans of hers or not, are going to be influenced by a billionaire celebrity, who I think is fundamentally disconnected from the interests and the problems of most Americans. Look, when grocery prices go up by 20 percent, it hurts most Americans. It doesn't hurt Taylor Swift. When housing prices become unaffordable, it doesn't affect Taylor Swift or any other billionaire. It does affect middle-class Americans all over our country. “You don't know what affects her! You don't know about her money! Who asked - How you talking about it! Shut up JD!” she shouted at the camera with her face contorting into all matter of horrific sneers.     Immediately going into a commercial break, Goldberg tried to inch it back. “When we come back we're going to talk more about this. I'm sorry, that was very rude. Stop talking, J.D.,” she said. In coming back, she had more apologies, but still wanted Vance to shut his mouth: “You know, the reason I apologized is because I hate when people tell me – pundits tell me to shut up. So, it's not a nice thing to say. So, I do take it back. But the implication is, hush.” But that was not the only hard words she had for critics of liberals. She teamed up with Chelsea Clinton (who was filling in for Sunny Hostin) to lash out at Fox News hosts and any women who dared to speak negatively about Harris: GOLDBERG: But I have to tell you, knowing all this stuff that apparently was being said about her on Fox, all the disparaging things, all of the, like, really nastiness. CLINTON: I mean, Whoopi, the racist misogynist crap. GOLDBERG: The racist misogynist. But it was also coming from other women, other women. So, for all of those folks, I hope you recognize that she's actually going to be your president too. And for your moment of Zen from Thursday’s show, co-host Joy Behar demanded that everyone needed to remember January 6, but she couldn’t remember the date herself: BEHAR: This is from George Orwell’s book 1984 regarding Trump denying. “The party told people to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears, it was their final most essential command.” That is what they're trying to do now. They're trying to tell you, June – what is it? 9th, 6th, whatever it is. MULTIPLE CAST MEMBERS IN UNISON: January 6. BEHAR: January 6, didn’t happen. I can't remember these dates. I don't remember my birthday… That people should remember that. That this is a manipulation! The transcript is below. Click "expand" to read: ABC’s The View September 12, 2024 11:08:29 a.m. Eastern (…) WHOOPI GOLDBERG: You know what, I – I want her to continue to do what she's doing the way she's doing it because she also – She’s not – You know, we still have a president. She still has another job that she still is doing. JOY BEHAR: Yeah. For a little while. GOLDBERG: But, yeah, she has to – She can't just stop doing that. She has to continue do it. So, I think that's why she's not out there the way that you would love to see her. But I have to tell you, knowing all this stuff that apparently was being said about her on Fox, all the disparaging things, all of the, like, really nastiness. CHELSEA CLINTON: I mean, Whoopi, the racist misogynist crap. GOLDBERG: The racist misogynist. But it was also coming from other women, other women. So, for all of those folks, I hope you recognize that she's actually going to be your president too. [Applause] BEHAR: Can I just read one thing? One small thing. Can I? GOLDBERG: Go, go, go. BEHAR: Okay. This is from George Orwell’s book 1984 regarding Trump denying. I don't remember my birthday. GOLDBERG: You know, I got to go. So, is that all you wanted to say? BEHAR: That people should remember that. That this is a manipulation! CLINTON: They know what they saw. BEHAR: You know what the truth is. SARA HAINES: Which is why Fox is saying Kamala Harris won. GOLDBERG: Yeah, but they should be saying it because they were really crappy to her about her. We'll be right back. (…) 11:17:34 a.m. Eastern GOLDBERG: And apparently this has upset snowflakes. [Laughter] The Republicans are not happy that Taylor Swift is endorsing Harris, like vice presidential candidate [makes fart sound with her mouth] J.D. Vance. [Cuts back to live] GOLDBERG: You don't know what affects her! You don't know about her money! Who asked - How you talking about it! Shut up JD! [Applause] When we come back we're going to talk more about this. I'm sorry, that was very rude. Stop talking, J.D. We'll be right back. (…) 11:23:21 a.m. Eastern GOLDBERG: Welcome back. You know, the reason I apologized is because I hate when people tell me – pundits tell me to shut up. So, it's not a nice thing to say. So, I do take it back. But the implication is, hush. (…)

Leftist Rags Tried to Fact-Check Taxpayer-Funded Plan Backed by Harris… It Didn’t Go Well

Leftist Rags Tried to Fact-Check Taxpayer-Funded Plan Backed by Harris… It Didn’t Go Well

Two leftist magazines became the latest rags to falsely fact-check former President Donald Trump’s assertions during the ABC News debate that Vice President Kamala Harris pledged to exploit taxpayer dollars on gender transitions for illegal aliens. Tellingly, one of those magazines is owned by a leftist Harris donor. TIME magazine, the leftist publication owned by one of Harris’s best supporters, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, wrote in a Wednesday article that Trump “falsely claimed that Harris ‘wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison.’” Later in the day, TIME Magazine dropped the word “falsely” and confessed in a correction that Harris had actually embraced this radical waste of taxpayer dollars during her first campaign for president in 2019. Susan B. Glasser, a staff writer at The New Yorker, mimicked TIME’s false fact-check but was even more brazen in doing so. She dubbed Trump’s transgender operation quote as “pretty memorable,” later adding, “What the hell was he talking about? No one knows, which was, of course, exactly Harris’s point.”  The New Yorker has failed to issue a correction (as of 5:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday), rightfully drawing the ire of critics on social media. TIME took a different route, placing a correction note at the article’s end. “The original version of this story mischaracterized as false Donald Trump's statement accusing Kamala Harris of supporting ‘transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison,’” TIME begrudgingly admitted in an Editor’s Note. “As a presidential candidate in 2019, Harris filled out a questionnaire saying she supported taxpayer-funded gender transition treatment for detained immigrants.” Before the debate even took place, CNN published an article highlighting Harris’s embrace of this radical position. Trump running mate and Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), posted the article after former CNN contributor Marc Lamont Hill reacted to Trump’s attack on Harris.  What's even crazier is that Kamala Harris actually did support giving illegal aliens transgender surgeries (paid for by taxpayers). https://t.co/ssEw3wVEw0 https://t.co/LALMHt57dT — JD Vance (@JDVance) September 11, 2024 Conservatives are under attack. Contact TIME at (letters@time.com)and The New Yorker at (800) 444-7570 and demand the publication stop coddling Vice President Kamala Harris.

‘Pervasive’ issues with USPS mail delivery could disenfranchise voters, election officials warn: ‘Not one-off mistakes’

‘Pervasive’ issues with USPS mail delivery could disenfranchise voters, election officials warn: ‘Not one-off mistakes’

State and local election officials nationwide sent a joint letter Wednesday to the United States Postal Service Postmaster General Louis DeJoy stating that the federal government’s mail service had failed to improve its delivery issues before the upcoming November election. The letter, sent by the National Association of State Election Directors and the National Association of Secretaries of State, raised concerns that the USPS will be unable to manage the approaching flood of mail-in ballots. The presidents of 29 local election official associations also signed the joint correspondence.'It demonstrates a pervasive lack of understanding and enforcement of USPS policies.'They warned about “inconsistent training of USPS staff,” “exceptionally long delivery times,” and an “increase in mail returned as undeliverable.”Election officials in all 50 states “have raised serious questions about processing facility operations, lost or delayed election mail, and front-line training deficiencies impacting USPS’s ability to deliver election mail in a timely and accurate manner,” it read. The election officials claimed that, over the past year, they “have not seen improvement or concerted efforts to remediate our concerns,” noting that many of those concerns were confirmed in a recent inspector general audit. They argued that USPS staff is “uninformed” about the mail service’s policies regarding election mail, which has, in some cases, led to “inconsistent guidance” and ultimately “disenfranchised” voters.“The frequency and widespread distribution of training-related issues, however, make it clear these are not one-off mistakes or a problem with specific facilities,” the letter continued. “Instead, it demonstrates a pervasive lack of understanding and enforcement of USPS policies among its employees.”According to the letter, election officials “in nearly every state ... are receiving timely postmarked ballots well after Election Day and well outside the three to five business days USPS claims as the First-Class delivery standard.”“In other cases, ballots sent to election offices are being returned to the voter with the election office address marked as undeliverable,” it added, noting that this issue is also occurring “nationwide.”Such errors could cause a voter to be moved to the inactive voter registration list, which would require them to take additional action to reverify their participation, the letter noted.“The increase in undeliverable mail raises two significant issues: (1) the potential disenfranchisement of voters whose ballots are not delivered to them or to their election office, and (2) putting eligible voters on the path to having their voter registration record canceled,” it stated. In a statement to NBC News, a USPS spokesperson responded to the letter, saying, “We are currently delivering mail in 2.7 days, although we continue to recommend as a common-sense measure that voters should mail their completed ballot before Election Day, and at least one week prior to their state’s deadline.”“As we have discussed widely with election officials, the Postal Service is in the midst of network modernization,” the spokesperson continued. “Election Mail routinely outperforms our regular service performance due to our long-standing processes and procedures.”Like Blaze News? Trump appears to say he will not debate again because he won against Kamala Harris

Former President Donald Trump appeared to say there will be no more debates between himself and Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris because he won their first debate. 'She and Crooked Joe have destroyed our Country.' Trump had previously suggested he would refuse another debate, but he made his decision more clear on Thursday on social media. "Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate," said the former president on Truth Social. "THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!" he wrote. The candidates hammered away at each other during the ABC debate the moderators of which were accused of being biased in favor of Harris. Trump called Harris a Marxist while Harris baited Trump into talking about reports that Haitian immigrants were eating pets in Springfield, Ohio. Trump also appeared to make a veiled reference to Harris' salacious past. The Harris-Walz campaign had called for another debate immediately after their first while declaring Harris as the victor. Elsewhere in the statement, the former president excoriated the policies of the Biden-Harris administration. "She and Crooked Joe have destroyed our Country, with millions of criminals and mentally deranged people pouring into the USA, totally unchecked and unvetted, and with Inflation bankrupting our Middle Class. Everyone knows this, and all of the other problems caused by Kamala and Joe," he added. Like Blaze News? Megyn Kelly absolutely OBLITERATES Taylor Swift: ‘The epitome of elite snobs’

Taylor Swift has stolen the hearts of millions of young women with her songs about always making the wrong choices — which is why it makes sense that she endorsed Kamala Harris for president in an Instagram post after the debate. “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift wrote. “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” she continued. “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.” Swift then signed off her letter with a jab at Trump’s vice presidential candidate, JD Vance, writing, “With love and hope, Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady.” Her post has fooled millions, as expected — but Megyn Kelly was not among them. “This pair, Taylor and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, are the epitomes of elite snobs. She doesn’t care what happens to these kids, just like he doesn’t give a s*** what happens to all the young men who take that Pfizer booster he’s been pushing,” Kelly said angrily. “I’m sure he’s totally f***ing clueless about the myocarditis taking the lives of young men in this country who didn’t need the shot to begin with, never mind a booster,” she continued, before ending her rant on an extremely powerful note. “Where’s he going to be when these boys wind up with heart scarring that causes heart attacks and potentially death? They will be sitting in their mansions in Rhode Island and California and New York and jetting across the world saying, ‘Let them eat cake,’ because they’ll be bathing themselves in their own sanctimony, too obsessed with their money and their concerts and their football games to have a thought for those hurt.” Dave Rubin is thoroughly impressed with Kelly’s speech, commenting, “Yeah, that’s damn right.” Want more from Dave Rubin? To enjoy more honest conversations, free speech, and big ideas with Dave Rubin, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.
