Carrie Underwood surprised many when she helped with leading worship at a Tennessee Church. Most churches have a familiar, predictable flow to their Sunday morning services. Typically, there is a small portion at the beginning in which the church leaders take time to recognize and welcome everyone to church. It makes perfect sense. You want to make everyone feel welcome and that their presence is appreciated. Some may sing a couple, while others could sing as many as five or six. This all happens before the pastor brings the message that the Lord has laid on his heart for that week. There may be some slight differences, but for the most part, that is how many churches organize their Sunday morning service. Carrie Underwood Leading Worship at Tennessee Church However, one church, Rolling Hills Community Church, in Franklin, Tennessee, changed things up quite a bit, and it had nothing to do with the flow of their service. According to CCM Magazine, they had a former American Idol and Grammy Award-winning singer unexpectedly help lead their worship service. Along with the choir and the other musicians on stage, Carrie joins in and sings a handful of praise and worship songs, including "Goodness of God," "I Thank God" and others. Carrie's appearance on stage at the Tennessee church should not surprise many. She has been very outspoken about her faith in the past. In an interview with the Cincinnati Enquirer, Carrie specifically mentioned how much her faith has impacted her. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii. The event comes weeks after Kennedy ended his own independent presidential campaign and endorsed Trump during an event in Arizona. Kennedy and Gabbard will visit Arizona Christian University in Glendale at 6 p.m. on Saturday. They’ll sit for a conversation moderated by Jessica Reed Kraus, who writes about the campaign on Substack and her @HouseInHabit social media accounts. The event is part of the “Team Trump Reclaim America Tour,” according to the Trump campaign. Rock star Jon Bon Jovi helped save a woman who was in a state of severe emotional distress this week when he happened to be in the right place at the right time. He was filming a music video for his song “The People’s House” on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville when he noticed a woman who was standing on the ledge, appearing ready to jump. The Tennessean reported that Bon Jovi responded to the woman by walking over to her with a production assistant and greeting her. The two helped secure the woman on the other side of the rail before helping her back over onto the main part of the bridge. Once safe, the musician gave her a hug. TIME Magazine issued an embarrassing correction to its post-debate report about how former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris fared against each other on Tuesday night. Breitbart columnist John Nolte noted that the left-wing publication initially reported: The former President … falsely claimed that Harris “wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison.” Trump made the factually correct statement when talking about the litany of issues that Harris has flip-flopped on since becoming the Democrat Party’s presidential nominee. “She did things that nobody would ever think of,” Trump said. “Now she wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison. This is a radical Left liberal that would do this.” Trump’s comment came after CNN recently unearthed a questionnaire Harris filled out for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) during her failed 2020 presidential campaign. TIME issued the following correction to their report: The original version of this story mischaracterized as false Donald Trump’s statement accusing Kamala Harris of supporting “transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison” As a presidential candidate in 2019, Harris filled out a questionnaire saying she supported taxpayer-funded gender transition treatment for detained immigrants. However, the edit that the publication made inside the piece was still insufficient as they simply removed the word “false” so the sentence now reads: “The former President … claimed that Harris ‘wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison.'” The fact that the publication still uses the word “claimed” to hedge Trump’s statement shows that they are intent on casting doubt on the veracity of what he said, even though it’s a position that Harris put in writing.
