The Most Rigged Debate In History

The presidential debate on Tuesday night was a full-scale disgrace. The debate was rigged on behalf of Kamala Harris, soup to nuts, beginning to end. ABC News should be ashamed of themselves. They destroyed any credibility they had. David Muir and Linsey Davis were doing the bidding of the people at the top of the chain of that network. Harris has joked that Dana Walden, a 30-year friend of hers and co-chairman of Disney Entertainment (who owns ABC News), and Walden’s husband are responsible for Harris meeting her husband, Doug Emhoff. The bias is real. Last night was a rigged game, beginning to end. The most significant element of the debate — by far — was the moderators, who did themselves lasting damage. The legacy media made itself appear to be precisely what it is: a Praetorian Guard on behalf of the Democratic Party. David Muir and Linsey Davis were so far up Kamala Harris’ a**, they were performing active colonoscopies with their eyeballs. It is impossible to overstate how far in the tank they were for Kamala Harris. WATCH: THE BEN SHAPIRO SHOW The basic format of the debate was this: The moderators asked Trump a question about how terrible his policies were, and then immediately swiveled to ask Harris how terrible Trump’s policies were. It was unbelievable. There would be a question that effectively amounted to, “Mr. President, when did you stop beating your wife?” He would attempt to defend himself. Then, they would turn to Harris and say, “What do you think of him lying about beating his wife?” It was insane. And the data supports this. There were four active fact-checks last night. Donald Trump was the subject of all four fact-checks. But it wasn’t just the fact-checks. It was also the interruptions in the follow-up, as they would interrupt Trump when he was talking. They always let Kamala Harris finish. They did not interrupt her a single time during the entire debate. Trump would be in the middle of the thought, and they would interrupt him or follow up and push him. They never followed up on Harris. They never pushed her. Not once. They pressed Kamala Harris zero times for follow-ups. Zero. They will claim Trump is dishonest. But Harris lied incessantly. She repeatedly uttered outright, full-scale debunked lies ad nauseam last night. But the media had a game plan, and the game was to follow hers. She laid out her game plan pretty early on, suggesting that it was all going to be about the playbook, the lies, and the grievances. Tickets for “Am I Racist?” are on sale NOW! Buy here for a theater near you. The media picked up on that playbook; they were going to repeat the playbook all night long. What has been apparent for months is that the media are not going to do the job of informing the American people about Harris. If you watched that debate last night, you came away with zero new information about her. You know no more about Kamala Harris and her positions today than you knew yesterday or the day before. Trump’s best moment came on abortion. He pointed out that the Democrats are radical on abortion, which is true. And he pointed out that Harris’ vice presidential pick, Tim Walz, has been in favor of abortion across the board, which is also true. He said Democrats are against legislation like the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, that Democrats want to make it so that if a baby is “accidentally born” due to a botched abortion there will be no criminal liability to let the baby die. That is true. Democrats do want that. That is why Tim Walz opposed a Born Alive Infant Protection Act in Minnesota, and eight babies have been born during botched abortions and died on the table in Minnesota. Trump said that, and he was correct. So what did the moderators do? They lied. Because it turns out the “fact-checkers” are there to lie on behalf of Kamala Harris. “Her vice presidential pick says abortion in the ninth month is absolutely fine,” Trump stated. “He also says execution after birth, its execution, no longer abortion, because the baby is born, is ok. And that’s not ok with me.” “There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born,” moderator Linsey Davis interjected. That’s a lie. They fact-checked Trump, and it was a false fact-check. Ralph Northam, the former governor of Virginia, actually said that if a baby is accidentally born alive during an abortion, you put the baby off to the side, and make the baby comfortable until you decide what to do with the baby. They lied about this because Linsey Davis and David Muir are liars, lying on behalf of their preferred political party. I would bet David Muir and Linsey Davis have been saying to each other over coffee and to the rest of their colleagues for years and years, “You know, if I ever get Trump in front of me, here’s what I’m going to ask him. And if he lies, I’m gonna fact-check him so hard, I’ll make his head spin.” They’ve been prepping this for years. Cabot Phillips, who covers election-centered news for The Daily Wire and was actually at the debate with the rest of the media, said the media in the spin room were actively cheering and guffawing during the debate, mocking Trump, actively groaning at him. There is an entire media apparatus that is designed to propagandize on behalf of Harris, and they made themselves apparent last night in that room. Harris lied later, saying Trump would sign a ban on abortion nationwide. Not only is that not true, JD Vance, who is pro-life, has also said that’s not true. So, she lied to the moderators. Fact-checked? Of course not. Of course not. Where were the fact-checkers? Off in the cornfield where no one knows? Trump himself tried to prompt the moderators, asking, “You should ask: Will she allow abortion in the eighth month? Ninth month? Seventh month?” He turned to Harris, “Would you do that?” He turned back to the moderators: “Why don’t you ask her that question? Because under Roe v Wade, you could do abortions in the seventh month, the eighth month, the ninth month, and probably after birth.” Harris responded, “That’s not true.” Yes, it’s true. Yes, it’s true. So where were the fact-checkers? Where were they when Harris repeated the Charlottesville lie? Where were they when she repeated the “bloodbath” lie when Trump was actually talking about an economic bloodbath? If there were a professional guild in charge of moderating debates, these people would be out on their a**es. But of course, there isn’t. So they will be vetted and celebrated by the mainstream media as having done a wonderful job. I do think the American people are smart enough to see through a lot of this. I think the American people can see that the media rigged this debate on behalf of Harris. There are two months to go. That’s still a long time. If the Trump campaign focuses on defining who Harris is — a hard-core leftist — and sticks to that, pummels her on that, Trump can win. But they won’t be fighting just the Harris campaign. They’ll be fighting the legacy media centipede every step of the way.

5 Facts About Late-Term Abortion That Harris and Her Media Allies Don’t Want You to Know

Predictably, the issue of abortion was one of the first to come up during Tuesday night’s presidential debate on ABC. And predictably, both the moderators and Vice President Kamala Harris wouldn’t let pesky facts get in the way of their shared agenda. Harris refused to identify a single limit on abortion that she would support. And what she did say was sometimes outright false. She implied, for instance, that pregnant women can’t receive miscarriage care in pro-life states. That’s not true. She said that women don’t get an abortion after carrying a pregnancy to term. What does she mean by “term”? Thousands of late-term abortions happen every year. One of ABC’s co-hosts, Linsey Davis also distorted the truth when she claimed that no states let babies who survive abortions be allowed to die. That’s also false. In many states, babies who survive abortions have no legal protections. Here’s what Americans deserve to know: Fact #1: Late-term abortion is legal and far more common than many people realize. Almost two dozen states have no limits on abortion at all or allow abortion after viability for “health” reasons. Health is often defined broadly, beyond a life-threatening emergency. In the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s most recent abortion data report, more than 4,000 babies were aborted after 21 weeks’ gestation in 2021. At that stage—if given proper medical care—many premature babies can survive. Regrettably, the real number is higher than 4,000 because radically pro-abortion states such as California and New York don’t submit any abortion data. Fact #2: Late-term abortions are elective more often than people realize. Study after study show that women getting late-term abortions largely do so for the same reasons as women who get abortions before viability. Even the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute acknowledges that “most women seeking later terminations are not doing so for reasons of fetal anomaly or life endangerment.” In an Atlantic magazine profile, an abortionist in Colorado who “specializes” in late-term abortion discussed performing sex-selection abortions and said at least half his abortions are on babies who were perfectly healthy. Fact #3: It’s legal in many states to simply allow a baby who survives an abortion to suffer death by neglect. In more than half the states, no law fully protects babies who survive an abortion. That means an abortionist can simply abandon such a baby to die and yet suffer no legal consequences. That’s exactly what former President Donald Trump is talking about when he says some states allow abortion after birth. Whatever you call it—a post-birth abortion, infanticide, death by neglect—it’s immoral and inhumane. Fact #4: This is not a theoretical problem: Babies can and do survive abortions. Few states actually report data on instances of born-alive infants, and many of those states have gone on to largely prohibit abortion in the wake of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the 2022 decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. But from the limited reporting we do have, the facts are disturbing. In just the past few years, there have been 43 documented cases in five states. The CDC estimated that between 2003 and 2014, there were 143 cases. Melissa Ohden and the Abortion Survivors Network powerfully put faces and names to survivor stories. These men and women are with us today because they beat the odds and survived an abortionist’s attempt to end their life. The sad truth is that we don’t know exactly how many babies are born alive and left to die in most states, especially those with radically pro-abortion policies. But we do know that the number is greater than zero. Surely, we can agree that any single instance is a travesty and an injustice. Fact #5: Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, don’t think born-alive babies deserve full legal protections. As a senator, Harris voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would have required that babies who survive an abortion receive the same medical care that would be provided to a “wanted” baby. Walz signed legislation allowing elective abortion at any stage of pregnancy in Minnesota and gutted the state’s born-alive protections. Just a few years ago, five babies were born alive in Minnesota and left to die. How many more will suffer the same fate? Abortion will continue to be a hot topic leading up to the election in November. The difference between the candidates’ positions is stark. Harris can’t name a single limit on abortion that she would support, and supports a bill that would legalize elective abortion through all nine months and repeal every existing pro-life law in the states. Trump supports the post-Dobbs legal landscape that has allowed roughly half the states to enact pro-life laws that reflect the will of the people. On abortion policy, facts matter. Unfortunately, far too many people won’t face some cold, hard truths. Healthy babies are aborted when they’re old enough to live outside the womb. Babies can—and do—survive abortion attempts. In many states, abortionists can abandon these tiny, helpless boys and girls to die by denying them proper medical care. The status quo is appalling. Surely, we as a country can do better than this. NO CONFIDENCE: Far-Left Smear Factory’s Union Votes by 90% to Oust President After Mass Layoffs

The Left eats its own, and it seems the Southern Poverty Law Center is no exception. The SPLC—a far-left smear factory notorious for demonizing conservatives and Christians as being as hateful as the KKK and for spreading woke dogma in schools—has its own labor union, and members of that union overwhelmingly cast a vote of “no confidence” in SPLC President and CEO Margaret Huang. The vast majority of the SPLC Union’s voting members (141 of 156, or 90.4%) cast ballots urging the SPLC to find a new CEO. The union presented this demand to the SPLC Board of Directors on Aug. 30, and one week later, SPLC Board Chair Karen Baynes-Dunning denied the request. According to a union press release, its members expressed a “lack of confidence in Margaret Huang and want SPLC to find a new CEO.” The move comes two months after the SPLC Union broke the news of mass layoffs at the SPLC in June. The SPLC “gutted its staff by a quarter,” laying off more than 60 union members, including five union stewards and the union’s chair. The union also claimed the layoffs will substantially affect various departments, including Learning for Justice (SPLC’s education arm); support staff in the fundraising, media, and legal departments; and “immigrant justice legal teams.” What the Union Says “From the start, the board’s lack of engagement with our union has made them complacent and complicit in all harm Huang and her leadership team create,” Lisa Wright, the SPLC Union chair who was laid off after more than 23 years at the organization, said in the news release Monday. “We believe Baynes-Dunning hired Huang in 2020 to bust our union. Huang has a proven track record of hostility toward unionization.” “The layoffs have been riddled with inconsistencies, errors, and confusion,” Wright added. “We’ve filed multiple grievances regarding contract violations, some of which we expect to progress to arbitration and possibly litigation.” Wright claimed that the SPLC failed to present a plan for transitioning the casework of laid-off lawyers, and that Huang gave conflicting messages about the reasons for the layoffs. The SPLC consists of two entities: a nonprofit under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code that can’t lobby for bills or political candidates and another nonprofit under Section 501(c)(4) of the code that can engage in lobbying. Huang reportedly told the (c)(4) board that SPLC made the layoffs due to a “$13 million deficit” in the (c)(3) organization’s budget, while she told the (c)(3) board and the union that SPLC made the layoffs for strategic reasons, not financial ones. Baynes-Dunning told the union that board members “unanimously reaffirm our approval of this strategic direction and unanimously support Margaret Huang’s ongoing leadership as president & CEO.” According to the union, SPLC staff had expressed “alarmingly low confidence and trust in SPLC leadership in multiple organization-wide surveys.” In 2022, only 49% of staff expressed confidence in leadership; that number had fallen to 44% shortly before the layoffs. The SPLC’s Response “We respect the bargaining unit’s right to oppose the changes to the SPLC programs and activities, and we empathize with all employees who were impacted by the staff restructure,” the SPLC told The Alabama Reflector, an independent news website. “These decisions are never easy, but necessary to strengthen our strategic framework and focus so that we can meet the challenges of this decade and beyond,” the organization said. The News Guild, the umbrella union organization of which the SPLC Union is a part, urged members of other unions to sign a letter demanding that SPLC’s board remove Huang, bargain with the union to reverse layoffs, and “meaningfully involve the SPLC Union in finding, interviewing, and hiring a new CEO.” As of Wednesday, more than 5,000 people had signed the letter. A More Likely Culprit? After Hamas terrorists slaughtered 1,139 people in Israel in gruesome terrorist attacks on Oct. 7, 2023, the Southern Poverty Law Center remained silent on the issue for nearly a month. Meanwhile, the SPLC Union released a statement condemning Israel’s military response to Hamas in the adjoining Gaza Strip. When the SPLC finally released its own statement, it condemned Hamas but also accused Israel of targeting “Palestinian civilians.” The SPLC then stealth-edited the statement after The Daily Signal drew attention to it. The SPLC’s reticence to take a stand on Israel likely revealed the Left’s fissures—a generational divide between young activists who oppose Israel and an older, pro-Israel donor class. This divide also separates the SPLC Union—which organizes alongside the anti-Israel group Jewish Voice for Peace—and the organization’s management. Layoffs and accusations of union busting do explain the SPLC Union’s move against Huang, but the issue of Israel may also play a role. The SPLC did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment on the real reasons behind the layoffs. What Is the SPLC? As I explain in my book “Making Hate Pay: The Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center,” the SPLC routinely smears mainstream conservative and Christian organizations by placing them on a “hate map” with chapters of the Ku Klux Klan. The SPLC uses the “hate map” as a reputational weapon to silence those who dissent from its woke agenda. While the SPLC’s education arm Learning for Justice pushes critical race theory (a lens teaching kids that white people are oppressors and blacks oppressed) and gender ideology, the “hate map” smears parental rights groups like Moms for Liberty and Parents Defending Education as “extremists.” Conservative Christian groups that advocate religious freedom and define marriage as between one man and one woman appear on the SPLC map as “anti-LGBTQ hate groups.” National security experts who warn against radical Islamist terrorism find themselves branded “anti-Muslim hate groups.” Advocacy groups that call for the enforcement of immigration law and oppose open borders appear on the map as “anti-immigrant hate groups.” This year, the SPLC even added an openly homosexual group—Gays Against Groomers—to its list of “anti-LGBTQ hate groups.” Critics on both the Right and the Left have defended law firms such as Alliance Defending Freedom from the SPLC’s smears. In 2019, the SPLC fired its co-founder and saw its president resign amid a racial discrimination and sexual harassment scandal. At that time, a former employee called the “hate” accusations a “highly profitable scam.” The SPLC currently faces a defamation lawsuit that crossed a major legal hurdle last year. Why Should Americans Care? Many conservatives know the Southern Poverty Law Center has no credibility on hate, and many conservative groups expressed mock outrage at being left off the “hate map” earlier this year. Yet the federal government under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris appears to have missed the memo. Earlier this year, the FBI’s Richmond office notoriously wrote an internal memo calling for surveillance at Catholic churches. That memo cited the SPLC’s list of “radical traditional Catholic hate groups.” One day after a brave whistleblower exposed the memo, the FBI issued a rare public retraction, saying the memo “does not meet the exacting standards of the FBI.” This one memo was the tip of the iceberg. In the fall of 2021, Huang bragged that the incoming administration had reached out to the SPLC earlier in the year for help in fighting “domestic terrorism.” “I can tell you that we’ve had many agencies in the new Biden administration reaching out to solicit our expertise and our knowledge and information to help shape the policies that the new administration is adopting to counter the domestic terrorism threat,” Huang said in a fundraising video. The SPLC briefed the Justice Department after it released a new version of its “hate map” in 2023. Leaders of the Southern Poverty Law Center met with a high-ranking official of the Department of Education a few months before it added the parental rights group Moms for Liberty to the “hate map.” SPLC leaders and staff have attended White House meetings at least 18 times since January 2021, and Biden appointed an SPLC attorney, Nancy Abudu, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. The SPLC has long called for charitable institutions to blacklist conservatives on the “hate map,” and companies such as Eventbrite exclude SPLC-accused “hate groups” from their services. The US Olympic Gymnastics Therapy Dog, Beacon, Hospitalized With Stiffness, Labored Breathing, And Fever

Beacon, the therapy dog who provides emotional support to the US Olympic Gymnastics team, has been hospitalized on Tuesday, September 03. The news was announced by the Golden Retriever’s owner and handler, Tracey Callahan Molnar, on the pooch’s Instagram page. “Beacon was admitted yesterday to an emergency pet hospital after some symptoms he was having (stiffness, moving into labored breathing, and then fever) were not reacting to treatments (anti-inflammatory meds, cold laser therapy),” Callahan Molnar wrote. Callahan Molnar also said that x-rays showed that Beacon has fluid in his chest cavity, which was part of the reason for the dog’s labored breathing. However, the vet’s cause of concern was Beacon’s high fever. And that’s when the pooch was transported to an emergency pet hospital. The therapy dog’s owner and handler reveals, “some diagnostics have been done but more to go. my understanding is that there are many potential causes therefore, many things to rule out.” Furthermore, Callahan Molnar revealed, “he has needed to have fluid removed from his chest cavity multiple times and during a procedure yesterday to take tissue samples from some concerning lung tissue”. “This is an incredibly difficult post to make,” Callahan Molnar said. “I’ve decided to share this now because beacon has 50k + followers and i know that can mean 50k + people sending him wishes for healing and good health.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by beacon miller & tulsa luna (@goldendogbeacon) Among Callahan Molnar’s “biggest requests” is for people to send the four-year-old therapy dog good wishes, whether it be thoughts, prayers, virtual hugs, or in whatever form it comes. Callahan Molnar promised Beacon’s followers to keep them posted and said, “We know that beacon provides animal assisted therapy but i hope you know that he loves people so much that the in-person interactions he had with so many of you are also meaningful to him.” The USA Gymnastics posted about the news on their social media pages and wrote, “We’re wishing Good Boy Beacon a speedy recovery!” Beacon is the USA Gymnastics’ first ever therapy dog. He provided much needed comfort and emotional support during the recent Olympics trial that ran from June 27 to 30. Everyone loved him – from the athletes to the judges, Beacon was hard at work last June. You could even say that he stole the show and became a fan-favorite. In an interview with ESPN, Callahan Molnar talked about Beacon saying, “He will turn on a dime without seeing who it is. He picks up on the stress and will pull to that person immediately.“ You can help Beacon towards his road to recovery by donating here.

Trump’s confession to RFK Jr. about failing to ‘drain the swamp’: ‘This time we’re going to do something different’

When Trump took office in 2020, one of his promises to the American people was that he was going to “drain the swamp.” However, the swamp was never drained — and the former president confided his feelings about his failure to none other than RFK Jr. “I think you need a president who’s willing to go in there and who is not part of that system,” RFK told Bradley Martyn of the Nelk Boys on “The Full Send Podcast.” “I think that’s president Trump. And president Trump I think tried to do that the last time, to drain the swamp, and he was well intentioned, but he didn’t know how to do it. And he said that to me. He said, ‘You know, I didn’t know anything about governing,’ and he said ‘we won this election and then all of a sudden you got to fill 60,000 jobs’ or something like that,” he continued. “He said, ‘I was surrounded by people, by lobbyists, and business interests,’” RFK went on, explaining that Trump was being pressured to appoint certain individuals. “He told me, ‘I don’t want to do that again.’ He said, ‘Those are bad guys, and this time, we’re going to do something different.’” “He wants to do something that’s good for this country. I know how to do that, and he’s asked me to help him do that. So, if we do that, if he does what he says, I’m very optimistic that we can actually remedy a lot of this corruption,” he concluded. Rubin likes what he’s hearing. “Hearing him speak about this stuff, it’s real and it’s true, and I believe him when he says that’s what he discussed with Trump, that Trump doesn’t want to make those mistakes again,” he says, adding, “so a little humility by Trump will be good.” Want more from Dave Rubin? To enjoy more honest conversations, free speech, and big ideas with Dave Rubin, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

Taylor Swift embraces childless cat-lady status with Kamala pick

Taylor Swift is officially in her Kamala era. Shortly after the close of Tuesday's presidential debate, the pop star officially backed the veep for the top job, blowing the minds of all seven people who thought that AI-generated Swift "endorsement" Trump posted last month was real. 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' lost its band. 'The Late Late Show' lost, well, everything. Now this.Maybe Variety's recent passive-aggressive attempt to guilt-trip Swift into getting off the sidelines has hit home. And maybe Swift will inspire even more entertainers to stop with the singing and the dancing and the acting and give us what we really want: their half-baked political opinons. Thanks, guys!Fallon's show not a grower“The Tonight Show” got a sudden case of shrinkage. The NBC institution will now tell 20% less Trump jokes per week. Jimmy Fallon’s show will no longer air original episodes each Friday. The other late-night shows already run on that schedule, but the “Tonight Show’s” reduction reflects the format’s continued decline.“Late Night with Seth Meyers” lost its band. “The Late Late Show” lost, well, everything. Now this.Jimmy Kimmel recently suggested the late-night format might be extinct in 10 years. At this pace, he might be off by more than 20%.'Curb' rashLarry David is doing pretty ... pretty good in his post-“Curb Your Enthusiasm” life. The professional misanthrope just announced a 10-city fall tour expected to start in Denver, Colorado, September 20.Will he get political? The comic actor is an avowed liberal who even raged against Alan Dershowitz for daring to take Donald Trump’s side in a legal matter. We’ll have to wait and see, but either way it won’t be cheap. The least expensive tickets at the Mile-High City's Paramount Theatre will set you back nearly $300. His Bernie Sanders impression has a lot of explaining to do.A lesson for UCLA radicals? This seems like a recipe for disaster, but it’s also what colleges need these days.Phelim McAleer’s play “October 7,” which portrays Hamas terrorist attacks through verbatim testimony of survivors, will be performed on the massacre’s anniversary at UCLA Fowler Museum, Lenart Auditorium.Yes, that’s one of many U.S. colleges where virulent anti-Israel protests raged in the months following the attacks.McAleer is no stranger to controversy, and he knows the play’s provocative themes will draw attention. Now, will any of the pro-Palestinian protesters dare to take in the show and learn what started the current war? The bigger question: How long will corporate media platforms ignore the production?'I'm ... Beetlejuice'A two-word sentence convinced audiences Michael Keaton was the right choice to play the Dark Knight back in 1989.“I’m Batman,” Keaton growled to a thug, a clip that proved Mr. Mom could handle a superhero gig. Now, at the tender age of 73, the actor would like audiences to know him by a different name.Michael Keaton Douglas.Turns out the actor’s real name is Michael Douglas, but when he entered show business, another star sported that name. Kirk Douglas’ kid, to be precise. So he opted for Michael Keaton instead. He's in good company. David Bowie is only Bowie because his real name, David Jones, was already taken by a certain Monkee. At this point, few will call the actor by either his birth name or new, longer moniker. If his latest film’s boffo box office continues, we'll all be calling him "Beetlejuice" from now on. Lorne's new ladies“Saturday Night Live” will add three new faces to the show this fall, which marks its 50th season.Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim, and Jane Wickline will suit up for the Sept. 28 season premiere. I would hate to assume their voting preferences based solely upon their new employer, but word is they're already hard at work pitching softball jokes about coconut trees and brat autumn.
