Elton John made it clear during a recent interview that he was not offended in the least when former President Donald Trump sampled one of his songs in devising a nickname for North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un — in fact, he said that he found it “hilarious.” The musician told Variety that while he was certainly not in agreement with many of Trump’s policies, he knew that the former president was a big fan of his music and had always been friendly with him. When he did that, I just thought it was hilarious.” John had another laugh upon being informed that the North Korean dictator had not understood the moniker at first, prompting Trump to send him an autographed CD. “Of course he hasn’t heard of me, Kim Jong Un. I’d be very surprised if he had. I’ve never toured North Korea, and I have no intention of doing so,” John added. “But, I thought it was a light moment, and it was fun.”

The officiant goes through the typical ceremony routine, describing how the pair gathered to commit themselves to one another. Guests sit peacefully as she reads, “Happiness is fuller, memories are fresher, and commitment becomes stronger.” From there, she broaches the subject that makes every bride and groom slightly nervous, the part where someone can object to their marriage. The officiant explains, “In order to proceed I must now ask if any person here….” Before she could even finish her question the wedding crasher chimes in. “MMMMOOOOOOOoooooooooo,” the elongated sound draws from behind the wedding guests. Everyone erupts into laughter as the bride turns to see who is objecting to her marriage. There, she finds their very own wedding cow. Through all the chuckles, the groom can be heard saying, “I knew that was going to happen.” Wedding Cow Makes This A Day To Remember As the crowd continues to giggle, the cow looks around, seemingly surprised that everyone found the objection so humorous. Once the laughter dies down, the officiant begins again. She reads, “If any person here present knows of any lawful impediment…” However, she doesn’t get to finish again. This wedding cow is not finished. Another loud “MMMoooooo” echos across the field. The cow seemingly says, “Did you not hear me the first time? I object to this matri-moo-ny.” Luckily, this time, despite the renewed giggles, the officant does not stop. She even jokes, “I think we are going to move swiftly on.” From there, the wedding goes on with the occasional background moo. Even with the unique objections, this couple is joined in holy matrimony.
