Even Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) — who was outspoken against Rep. Patel has promised to purge the FBI of people he sees as unloyal to Trump and has indicated he would seek a near-total revamp of the agency. An Ohio woman accused of killing and eating a cat pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges on Monday. Allexis T. Ferrell, 27, of Canton, Ohio, was arrested in August after stomping on a cat’s head and then proceeding to eat it. Initially, Ferrell pleaded not guilty, but on Monday, she pleaded guilty to one charge of animal cruelty. It happened at a housing complex in the 1100 block of East 13th Street. Ferrell was indicted Aug. 21 on a charge of cruelty to companion animals. The court ordered an evaluation of “the defendant’s mental condition at the time of the offense,” as well as of Ferrell’s competency to stand trial, records show.
