Americans love their BBQ. Whether it’s sweet and smokey, hot and tangy, dry rubbed, or slathered in sauce, if it’s cooked on the grill, we are in. Many a dad has spent a Sunday afternoon listening to the ball game on the radio while slow-smoking some meat. Some might argue that you can tell a lot about a person by what kind of sauce they like on their BBQ. Travel throughout the country, and you’ll find that BBQ is regional, and people are very proud of the way they do things. When visitors come to the United States, partaking in our culinary delights is often a highlight. There is nothing more American than a slab of ribs. Tearing into the meat with our teeth while we hold onto the bone might be considered a pastime to some. But if you’re not from here, it might seem barbaric. Their reaction was priceless. In a video shared on X, the pair first start cutting the ribs and are quickly told how to enjoy BBQ ribs and go after them with their hands. The very first bite is heaven. Ollie says, “This is the most succulent meat with the most beautiful glaze.” Josh’s agrees, admiring how easily the meat falls from the bone. He’s so overcome by the delicious meal that he apologizes and says, “I’m completely at a loss for words.” Someone commented, “They went from genuinely terrified to completely understanding in a matter of 10 seconds. This person has another surprise for Josh and Ollie. “Wait until they try the cold, sweet tea.” “And they wonder why we no longer eat beans on toast,” someone joked. A group of 10 friends were on a high-rise rooftop having a cookout. A large, dark-colored winged humanoid soon appears and starts circling the building. A brief video was recorded."Hi, Lon. This is the first time I have ever reached out to a paranormal researcher, so I hope I'm doing this correctly.On June 10, 2023, I had about 10 friends over to my new home in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood for an evening rooftop cookout. For the scene setting, my rooftop is on the 26th floor of a highrise on Lake Shore Drive, surrounded by buildings of similar height, right across from Lake Michigan. The panoramic views from this height reach up to 25 miles in every direction.During the party, around 6:45 PM, we began to run low on chilled wine. So 5 members of the group, myself included, went downstairs to my home on the 3rd floor to get more wine and use the restroom. When we came upstairs, we found the remaining 5 who stayed on the roof visibly frightened and disturbed. These were people who were born and raised Chicagoans, not phased by anything! But they were absolutely scared of "something they had just seen."They explained to us that a large, 10-13 foot tall, 15-foot wingspan "person" was FLYING AROUND THE BUILDING. I could not believe what I was hearing, but truly, I could not believe it. The being "appeared" next to them, about 15 - 20 feet off the roof, 30 feet above, and began to circle, looking at them! They all said they fell silent, nobody moved. After 15 seconds, the being "loudly" flapped its wings and "gilded" west. This is when a friend present at the party took out his camera and filmed it.
