The Message Biden Should Have Sent to China

When an unnamed “senior administration official” briefed reporters last Friday about national security adviser Jake Sullivan’s trip to the People’s Republic of China—to meet with Foreign Minister Wang Yi—there was one significant word he never used: genocide. “I expect these meetings will cover roughly the same format as we have in previous rounds, discussing key issues in the U.S.-China bilateral relationship and advancing counternarcotics cooperation, military-to-military communication, and [artificial intelligence] safety and risk discussions,” this official said. “Mr. Sullivan,” the official said, “will raise U.S. concerns about China’s support for Russia’s defense industrial base, the South China Sea, and various other issues.” “And I expect they will also discuss cross-strait issues,” said this official. Three days later, White House national security communications adviser John Kirby gave reporters an on-the-record briefing on Sullivan’s trip to China. His description of what Sullivan would discuss with Wang was virtually identical to the description given in the background briefing. Kirby—like the unnamed official who gave the background briefing—never used this word: genocide. Now, go back to Dec. 6, 2021—two months before the 2022 Winter Olympics were scheduled to begin in Beijing. In her briefing that day, as this column has noted before, then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced that the Biden administration would engage in a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Olympics. They would do so, she explained, because the People’s Republic of China was engaging in genocide. “The Biden administration,” she said, “will not send any diplomatic or official representation to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games given the PRC’s ongoing genocide and crimes against humanity in Xinjiang and other human rights abuses.” So, has China stopped perpetrating this genocide? This April, as this column has noted before, Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a press conference to mark the release of his department’s 2023 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices. “Rohingya in Burma, Uyghurs in Xinjiang—each victims of genocide and crimes against humanity,” Blinken said in that press conference four months ago. “The United States will continue to raise our deep concerns directly with the governments responsible.” The report on China that Blinken released that day said: “Genocide and crimes against humanity occurred during the year in China against predominantly Muslim Uyghurs and members of other ethnic and religious minority groups in Xinjiang.” “Significant human rights issues,” it said, “included credible reports of: arbitrary or unlawful killings by the government; enforced disappearances by the government; torture by the government … “ The day before President Donald Trump left office, as this column has noted before, then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued a statement declaring that the Chinese Communist Party was engaging in an “ongoing” genocide against the Uyghurs in Xinjiang. While continuing to engage in this genocide, China has hauled in massive amounts of money from the United States. Since January 2021—the month of President Joe Biden’s inauguration—the United States has imported approximately $1.6658 trillion in goods from China, according to the Census Bureau. At the same time, this country has exported only approximately $524.100 billion in goods to China. That has resulted in a Biden-era bilateral trade deficit with China of approximately $1.1417 trillion. By contrast, China has reduced its holdings of U.S. government debt during the Biden administration. In January 2021, entities in the PRC owned $1.0952 trillion in U.S. Treasury securities, according to the Treasury Department. As of this June, they held only $780.2 billion—a decline of 28.7% under the Biden administration. Nor does China respect freedom of religion. “Authorities continued to require CCP members and members of the armed forces to be atheists and forbade them to engage in religious practices,” said the State Department 2023 report on religious freedom in the PRC. “Regulations require clergy to pledge allegiance to the CCP and socialism,” it said. “According to reports, the government maintained a near-ubiquitous system of high-technology surveillance of religious sites,” it said. “[Nongovernmental organizations] and media outlets continued to report deaths in custody and that the government tortured, physically abused, arrested, disappeared, detained, sentenced to prison, subjected to forced indoctrination in CCP ideology, and harassed adherents of both registered and unregistered religious groups for activities related to their religious beliefs and practices,” said the State Department report. A better president than Biden would have instructed his national security adviser to tell the Chinese Communist Party leaders: Stop your genocide of the Uyghurs and your attacks on religious liberty—or we will stop all imports from you. White House defends censoring Facebook content 'to protect public health'

A White House spokesperson said the Biden administration encouraged Mark Zuckerberg's Meta platform to be responsible, despite the tech entrepreneur saying he was "pressured" to "censor" specific content. The House Judiciary Committee recently published a letter from Zuckerberg about repeated demands from the Biden-Harris administration to censor content, even satire, related to COVID-19 and vaccines.'This administration encouraged responsible actions to protect public health and safety.'Zuckerberg wrote that in 2021, "senior officials from the Biden administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn't agree."When asked, the White House washed its hands of the ordeal and declined to acknowledge Zuckerberg's use of terms regarding censorship and pressure."When confronted with a deadly pandemic, this administration encouraged responsible actions to protect public health and safety,” a White House spokesperson said, per the Guardian. The White House official then attributed responsibility to tech platforms for making "independent" choices about the content posted on their apps."Our position has been clear and consistent," the statement continued. "We believe tech companies and other private actors should take into account the effects their actions have on the American people, while making independent choices about the information they present." — (@) The White House provided the same statement to media members across the board. The administration's denial of any form of censorship flies in the face of what social media companies such as Elon Musk's X platform, which released the Twitter Files, have learned. Those documents exposed the federal government's interest in suppressing certain stories, such as those related to the Hunter Biden laptop.Zuckerberg also complained about the same issue in his letter to Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).Zuckerberg wrote the "FBI warned" his company about "potential Russian disinformation" regarding the Biden family and Ukrainian energy company Burisma in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election. The CEO admitted that his team "temporarily demoted" stories posted on his platforms. He also said it had since been made clear that "the reporting was not Russian disinformation."Also, during the same term, the Biden-Harris administration attempted to form a Disinformation Governance Board to monitor speech. In 2022, the Department of Homeland Security shut down its controversial disinformation board after widespread backlash that it was reminiscent of Soviet-style control of public discourse. Harris campaign once again begs to have microphones unmuted for debate with Trump

Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign is continuing to push for microphones to be left unmuted for the upcoming debate with former President Donald Trump after the latter announced his campaign agreed to keep the same debate rules he had with President Joe Biden.Trump made it clear on Monday that while he prefers to have microphones live the whole time, the rules of the debate were already settled when his campaign agreed with the terms set by Biden's campaign. Those terms included microphones being muted when a candidate was not speaking."We agreed to the same rules. I don't know, doesn't matter to me. ... The agreement was that it would be the same as it was last time. In that case, it was muted. I didn't like it the last time, but it worked out fine. ... I think it should be the same. We agreed to the same rules," Trump said on Monday. Brain Fallon, senior communications adviser to Harris, posted on X on Thursday that the Harris campaign is once again asking ABC News to have microphones be on throughout the entire debate, no muting. Fallon misleadingly used Trump's comment on Monday out of context to make it appear as though the microphone issue had come from the Trump team.'The truth is they're trying to get out of it. She doesn't want to debate.'"Our latest understanding is that even though Trump said Monday he would be fine with an unmuted mic, his handlers don’t trust him to spar live with VP Harris and are asking ABC to ignore Trump’s comments and keep the mics muted or else they will back out of the debate for a third time. We have been asked to accede to Trump’s handlers’ wishes on this point for the sake of preserving the debate. We find the Trump’s [sic] team’s stance to be weak, and remain in discussions with ABC on the final rules," Fallon said. — (@) "The truth is they're trying to get out of it. She doesn't want to debate. She's not a good debater," Trump also said Monday. The New York Post reported that other rules and conditions for the debate include:no live studio audience;no pre-written notes;no props;only a pen and paper allowed; andone water bottle.Harris' campaign had previously said the "debate about debates is over" when it came to the number of debates in which she would participate, claiming she would participate in only two since Biden conducted the first one before stepping down from the race.Like Blaze News? Hackers push $460M crypto scam via soccer star’s X account — $1M lost in minutes

On Wednesday, hackers controlled soccer star Kylian Mbappe's X account and pushed a crypto scam on his 14 million followers.ESPN reported that Mbappe is fresh off a transfer to Spanish soccer giant Real Madrid. The deal will see him make over $16 million per year in salary and receive a $166 million signing bonus spread out over the five years of his contract. The soccer player hadn't made any posts on his X account for about two weeks until a hacker allegedly started sharing memes and statements to his 14.4 million fans.'This person lost more than $1M in just 1 hour!'The posts included mocking fellow soccer star Lionel Messi, trolling different professional teams, and even making political statements."F*** Israel," a post said with a clown emoji.About six minutes later, the account made another post with four Palestinian flags, reading, "FREE PALESTINE."Aside from the fun and games, the hacker promoted a crypto currency pump-and-dump scheme making off with a large sum of money. With the stolen account, the hacker promoted the coin $MBAPPE, inflating its value by a reported 4,000%. According to Cointelegraph, the hacker's post boosted the coin's market cap to a whopping $460 million before it tanked to less than $100,000 in value. The hacker made off with an alleged $100,000 profit in about an hour. 'Don’t fall for the $MBAPPE scam.'However, some savvy investors, likely not involved in the scam, made some money by quickly buying and selling the coin. One unknown person made a profit of about $125,000 when they bought shares worth $28 when the market cap was at just $80,000.Other reports popped up about another investor losing around $1 million:"Someone created a new wallet and spent [$1.03M] to buy ... $MBAPPE in a single transaction," the popular crypto page Lookonchain wrote."[It] is now only worth $9.2K. This person lost more than $1M in just 1 hour!"The scam spread so rapidly that even popular trading platform Crypto.com warned its followers about falling for it."Don’t fall for the $MBAPPE scam," it wrote. "Scammers hacked Kyllian [sic] Mbappe's X account today to promote a scam," the attached image said.Interestingly, the scam mirrors other schemes made by celebrities over recent years. Simply put, notable people can create a coin, buy a significant portion of it, and promote it to their followers as their latest project. Once the market cap is inflated, creators can sell off their shares for a profit. This may not rise to the level of criminal unless they recommend their followers buy-in.According to Investopedia, a scheme becomes illegal when it makes promises/recommendations about a stock or security based on false, misleading, or greatly exaggerated statements.Like Blaze News? Colorado school district requires kids to suffer LGBT propaganda against parents' wishes

A Colorado school district recently updated its "LGBTQ+ tool kit," revealing what additional steps educators and staff are taking to indoctrinate those young Americans within its reach, particularly on the topics of sexuality and gender. The document, which appears on various DPS school sites and was recently detailed in a Daily Caller report, indicates that students in Denver Public Schools will be unable to avoid LGBT propaganda; that their parents cannot effectively opt them out of content on-theme; and that parental consent will be sidestepped on various issues. Denver Public Schools' tool kit details the district's various schemes and policies hatched with the stated purpose of supporting its non-straight and gender dysphoric students, staff, and families. The district has over 200 schools and 4,780 teachers, roughly 90,000 students, and 10,177 employees.'There is no opt-out for LGBTQ+ topics.'The tool kit notes that "age-appropriate LGBTQ+ topics are considered a part of DPS's commitment to equity and inclusion, just as all other topics related to equity and inclusion (for example, immigration, racism, ableism, etc.)."State Democrats passed legislation in 2019 requiring the inclusion of content about the accomplishments of non-straight people in Colorado's Social Studies Standards and curriculum. The DPS' kit intimated, however, that the district need not stop at inserting LGBT content into history, civics, and social studies classes; that it could go further and push such propaganda "in all areas."While parents can still opt their children out of sex-ed specific classes — which, per policy, refrain from discussing an abstinence-only approach to avoiding disease and pregnancy — the DPS indicated in its tool kit that such withdrawal would not spare students from "all discussions of gender, family, and/or sexual diversity at school.""There is no opt-out for LGBTQ+ topics," stated the tool kit, which the Daily Caller reported was updated in July. Although the district appears keen to tailor curricula and policy to a minority of non-straight community members, its tool kit noted, "DPS cannot tailor individual lessons, content, or classrooms because a family, student, or staff may have different values."Having previously noted that LGBT propaganda falls under the umbrella of "equity and inclusion," the tool kit makes expressly clear; "Parent permission is not required to teach about topics of equity and inclusion."DPS appears keen to sidestep parents in other ways as well.In the case of children who are confused about their sexuality and "gender identity," the tool kit stresses: "Do not out the student to anyone.""Do not share information about a student's transition without their express, documented consent," adds the tool kit.Extra to helping students conceal their confusion, DPS will gladly use a "student's self-asserted name and/or pronouns at school" without parental/guardian notification or permission. The district will also allow students to change their name and pronouns in district record systems without either parental permission or legal documentation. When confronted with a gender dysphoric student, the tool kit recommends partnering the student with a staff member "supportive of LGBTQ+ topics" to think through a "Gender Support Plan."The kit suggests further how educators and school staff members are to usurp parental authority and adopt a familial role when it appears parents may not be onboard with promoting a child's confusion:The educator or administrator should ask whether the student's family is accepting to avoid inadvertently putting the student at risk of more significant harm by discussing it with the student's family. Based on that information, the school and student should determine how to proceed through the collaborative process of figuring out how the school can support the student and balance the student's need to be affirmed at school with the reality that the student does not have that support at home. The tool kit also details how transvestic students can choose to use the restrooms and locker rooms that best indulge their delusion and that they are allowed to go on overnight trips, alll the while having their real biological sexes kept a secret from other students and their parents. The Daily Caller indicated that DPS could not be reached for comment.Like Blaze News? WATCH: UFC’s Dana White compares Donald Trump and Kamala Harris

CEO and president of the UFC, Dana White, says, despite what people say about his political leanings, he’s neither liberal nor conservative. “I’m right down the middle, man. I’m for common sense,” he told the NELK Boys on an episode of “The Full Send Podcast.” - YouTube youtu.be “Republican, Democrat, gay, straight, Catholic, whatever your religion — we all want the same things. We all want to make a living; we all want to take care of our families; we all want to buy a house; we all want cars; we all want to be safe in our house; we want to be safe in the streets that we live in,” White explained, expanding on his definition of common sense. And there’s only one candidate who can deliver on these basic needs — Donald Trump. “[Kamala Harris] is not fit to run the country,” White said, adding that this is “just a fact” even when you “take all the hate out.” On the other hand, Donald Trump, who “loves this country” and has been “absolutely resilient” following the assassination attempt on his life, is equipped to handle the looming issues we face as a nation. “He's one of the best guys that I've ever met. I would never back a guy or talk highly about a guy who is a piece of s***,” White said, denouncing “the way that they try to portray him in the media.” “He's a great human being ... and he should be the next president of the United States,” he added. And if you need further evidence, look no further than the wars we’re currently embroiled in. “Who do you want dealing with f****** Russia and Ukraine? Who do you want dealing with Israel and f****** Gaza? Who do you want dealing with f****** Iran? Who do you want dealing with the world's problems right now?” White asked. “Not Kamala Harris.” To hear more of the interview and White’s commentary, watch the clip above. Gundam has been a massively popular franchise for close to 50 years now, with torrents of comics and TV shows coming out consistently. It's also spawned a hobby community devoted to building models of the iconic mechs designed for various series over the years, which has, in turn, inspired games like Gundam Breaker 4, a hack and slash mech game and digital robot builder that includes the action of an Armored Core 6 with the machine management of Battletech or Mechwarrior 5. And, though it only came out yesterday, the latest entry to the Breaker series is off to a great start based on player reviews and Steam charts. Remember Joe Biden?

One moment, he was attending state dinners, engaging in debates, and visiting sites around the nation; the next, he was little more than a fable.
