If a violent transnational gang coming over the border and overrunning a Denver suburb doesn’t get covered in the national news media, did it really happen at all? This appears to be the underlying calculus of the Regime Media’s outright refusal to cover a story that is critically adverse to the electoral prospects of Vice President Kamala Harris.   Per Fox News: Although Denver's suburbs don't share its sanctuary city policies, the influx of migrants into the Mile High City has spilled outward. Now, its neighbors are facing an unprecedented wave of activity from a notorious Venezuelan prison gang.  Officials from Aurora, about nine miles east of Denver, told Fox News Digital the Tren de Aragua gang has gained a strong foothold in their city, commandeering apartment complexes and drumming up violent crime and sex trafficking.  "We currently have entire complexes under gang control — complexes where staff have been beaten up, they've been threatened, their families have been threatened [and] complexes where there are no staff left on the property," Aurora City Council Member Danielle Jurinsky said. "These complexes are being run by this Tren de Aragua gang. Tren de Aragua has become something of a household name as of late, with a history of criming all over the nation including, most notoriously, the murder of University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley. But the taking of Aurora, or significant parts of the city including entire apartment complexes, is unprecedented. Its gross non-coverage stands as one of the worst instances of media bias by omission in recent memory, and that's saying a lot. The calculus for continued non-coverage of Aurora by ABC, CBS, NBC, Univision, and Telemundo is simple. Aurora is the rotten fruit of Biden-Harris border policy and the Border Czar, now at the top of the ticket, simply cannot be made to look bad. Wouldn't be joyous. At Univision and Telemundo, with their dependence on broken borders for a continuous inflow of viewers, it’s about a general refusal to cover stories that reflect poorly on open-borders policies such as those enacted by Biden-Harris. In those cases, immigration policy is a Precious that must also be protected along with the Democrat du jour. Because Aurora is a localized event that impacts national policy, the story gets relegated to “local crime story”, not unlike the trial of mass murdering abortionist Kermit Gosnell- a far more horrendous story than Aurora for different reasons but that nonetheless reflects poorly on a core Democrat policy and might trigger an adverse electoral reaction among the electorate from whom the story was suppressed. A powerful official of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) lamented an alleged decline in censorship coordination between government officials and Big Tech, even as a major tech CEO apologized for that censorship. DSCC Chief Information Security Officer Jude Meche mourned the increasing difficulties of manipulating free speech online due to congressional investigations and lawsuits, reported Reclaim the Net on Tuesday. Meche was one of the participants at a panel hosted by the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism in Chicago at the Democratic National Convention on Aug. 19. Panelists reportedly sighed for “the good old days” after the 2016 election when Big Tech companies were willing to comply with government pressure without fears of congressional scrutiny.  According to the panelists, the Big Tech-government coordination supposedly enhanced “election integrity,” a strange phrase to use considering that Big Tech and Big Media stole the 2020 election through censorship.  Meche even voluntarily admitted the coordination between Big Tech and Democrats, per Reclaim the Net. “Following the 2016 election, we had calls with X and with Meta all the time,” Meche bragged, referring to the social media platform formerly named Twitter and the parent company of Instagram and Facebook. The Murthy v. Missouri lawsuit exposed how Big Tech communicated with individuals at all levels of government on content moderation. Meche said, “They were working with us. That no longer exists, that all faded quickly. We don’t have counterparts in these companies anymore.” Meche’s discussion of Meta is significant in light of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s new letter to the House Judiciary Committee admitting that his company gave in to government pressure to censor free speech. Zuckerberg noted that his company crushed the Hunter Biden laptop scandal in 2020 and caved to the Biden-Harris administration’s COVID-19 censorship demands in 2021. Zuckerberg expressed regret over Meta’s blind compliance, claiming, “I feel strongly that we should not compromise our content standards due to pressure from any Administration in either direction.” While Zuckerberg’s admission marked a partial victory for free speech, his social media platforms have continued to censor speech, as MRC’s unique CensorTrack database shows. For instance, Facebook was reportedly suppressing content about the new Reagan biographical movie. On August 14, Facebook removed a user’s post that simply said, “Amen!!” And Instagram, on August 12, deleted a user’s comments about Muslim migrants. UFC commentator Daniel Cormier says there is no outcome from Jake Paul's fight against Mike Tyson where Paul will be seen as the winner.The former two-division UFC champion spoke to fellow UFC alumnus Ben Askren on the "Funky and the Champ" podcast about the upcoming Paul vs. Tyson fight, where the two athletes — who are nearly 30 years apart in age — will box on a Netflix sports special.Cormier commented on remarks made by fellow UFC commentator Joe Rogan, who said that Tyson could still knock Paul's "head into another dimension" even at his age.'I think it’s a lose-lose for Jake Paul, because if you beat up Mike Tyson, everybody loves Mike Tyson.'"58-year-old Mike Tyson is not 50-year-old Mike Jones that lives down the street. It's a different kind of human being, he can still knock your head into another dimension if he can catch you," Rogan said.Cormier agreed that when he watches Tyson hitting pads, "It looks like there's still something left in there.""But then I watch Jake Paul fight Mike Perry. I watch Jake Paul get pressed to where he starts to feel uncomfortable, and it looked like Mike Perry had a chance. But then Jake has a reserve tank to go to and get and draw from because he's 28 years old."Cormier mentioned he was concerned that at 58 years old, Tyson might not have enough reserved energy to draw from to compete with Paul if the fight goes longer than a couple rounds."That is my concern. Mike Tyson actually doesn't need the money," Cormier continued. "It's surprising to me that he's fighting ... what if Mike knocks him out though? Then it's over. Everything's done. Nothing's ever been done like that in the history of the sport if he gets knocked out."The November 15, 2024, bout was already pushed back from a July date over health complications on the part of Tyson that caused a flight delay."He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing," one of Tyson's representatives said at the time. "He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him."Tyson has answered questions about his age numerous times leading up to the fight, stating that it isn't a hinderance on top of the fact that he is the only athlete of his age that could create such anticipation."I'm 58 and what? I'm getting billions of views from just talking to somebody about fighting," Tyson said on Fox News. "Everybody, even most of the athletes, they're jealous, that's wack. ... Sara Gonzales, host of BlazeTV's "Sara Gonzales Unfiltered," recently infiltrated a drag show in Texas and found minors in attendance despite the explicit nature of the performance.On Friday, celebrity transvestite RuPaul hosted a drag show called "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars LIVE" at Music Hall at Fair Park, a city park in Dallas. Gonzales not only attended the event but also captured video of some of the performance as well as some of her fellow attendees, some of whom were clearly underage.According to Gonzales' footage, many of the show's performers, wearing costumes that exposed most of their buttocks, twerked and gyrated for the crowd. They also repeatedly made crude and graphic references to sex acts and private body parts:"My p***y is BURNING!""P***y real good.""Is that p***y on fire?""Y'all s*cked the good d*** for these seats!"Gonzales shared the video footage on Tuesday's episode of "Sara Gonzales Unfiltered," calling the drag show a form of "child abuse," and hinted that it made her want to "vomit." She then discussed the footage with Texas state Rep. Brian Harrison (R-Midlothian), who was similarly appalled that such "offensive" and "absolutely disgusting" performances were on display in front of "very young children."What's more, the drag show may even have violated SB12, a bill passed last year prohibiting "sexually oriented performance[s]: (1) on public property; or (2) in the presence of an individual younger than 18 years of age." A federal judge subsequently issued a permanent injunction against the bill, preventing it from being enforced, but Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has since appealed that injunction.Harrison explained that the bill cannot be enforced at present while the appeals process continues, but the behaviors it was designed to prevent remain "illegal." "The state law is not off the books simply because we're being enjoined from enforcing it," he explained. "Those actions are still illegal in the state of Texas."Harrison also suggested that Paxton has a good chance of prevailing in his appeal to reinstate SB12. "I do think the odds are pretty decent," he claimed. "... I actually feel somewhat optimistic."Harrison reiterated that such drag shows are not a matter of free speech or the First Amendment but about protecting children, and he indicated that those who facilitated such a sexually explicit show without an age restriction could at some point be "retroactively prosecuted" under SB12."We're talking about a performance, an adult-themed, sexually explicit performance, in front of minors that was engaged in commerce on property that is governmental property in the state of Texas," he noted. "So I do think they're operating at a little bit of a risk here."Gonzales added that law enforcement may want to examine the "hard drive[s]" of some of the participants since, she claimed, they seem to desperately "want to shake [their] rear end in front of kids."Finally, Gonzales issued a warning that she will continue to expose those who attempt to sexualize children, especially in Texas.
