ALIEN Act: Gaetz’s Answer To Biden’s Border Failure

CLAIM: A deal to expand immigration brokered by Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) was a “real bipartisan solution” that only failed because former President Donald Trump urged Senate Republicans to oppose it. VERDICT: Not entirely true. The deal was opposed by Republicans and a handful of Democrats when it was voted on twice earlier this year.

Verdict: False It does not appear that Minnesota law has limits on abortion based on gestational age. The Protect Reproductive Options (PRO) Act also does not appear to include any language stating a limit on abortion in relation to gestational age. In addition, experts agreed that there does not appear to be any limits on abortion in Minnesota.
