‘Gone So Fast’: Trump Promises To Remove Military Commanders Who Have Pushed ‘Insulting’ Woke Initiatives

Former President Donald Trump promised at a rally in North Carolina on Wednesday to remove all the military commanders who have pushed “insulting” woke policies under the Biden-Harris administration. Trump made the comments during a rally at the North Carolina Aviation Museum and Hall of Fame in Asheboro, North Carolina. The rally was his first outdoor event since he was nearly assassinated last month when he was struck by a bullet while speaking at a campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania. Speaking from behind bulletproof glass, Trump said that he would rid the military of wokeness if elected president, warning that electing Vice President Kamala Harris would continue the radicalization of the military. “Under ‘Comrade Kamala,’ our military has been abused for radical social experiments,” he said. “On day one, I will get Critical Race Theory and transgender insanity the hell out of our U.S. Armed Forces. We’re taking it out. Our warriors should be focused on defeating America’s enemies, not figuring out their genders.” “Marxist ideologies have no place in combat,” he said. “We want them to know their gender when they go in. You have no idea the disruption that that has caused and the fake news refuses to report it.” Tickets for “Am I Racist?” are on sale NOW! Buy here for a theater near you. Previous reports from House Republicans have indicated how the U.S. Military has been weakened through the adoption of DEI policies and LGBT initiatives. For example, the U.S. Special Forces put out a report claiming that “diversity and inclusion are operational imperatives.” Trump said those policies would stop if he was elected in November. “If you want to have a sex change or a social justice seminar, then you can do it somewhere else, but you’re not going to do it in the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Space Force, or the United States Marines,” he said. “The military brass that lead these absurd and insulting initiatives will likewise be removed. They will no longer be in command. They’re going to be gone, gone so fast.” The former president also said that he would demand the resignations on inauguration day of those involved in Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan that led to billions of dollars in American military equipment being left with the Taliban and the death of 13 American troops in a terror attack. “The voters will hold Kamala and Joe accountable this November,” he said. “I will ask for the resignations of every single senior military official who touched the Afghanistan disaster. I want their resignations immediately.” North Carolina, which Trump won in both 2016 and 2020, is seen as one of the key battleground states for 2024.

Nelly And Ashanti Welcome Their First Baby And Announce Name On Social Media

They reunited after a decade apart, and now one of the hottest couples from the mid-2000s has a new baby to love. Ashanti, 43, and her husband, Nelly, 49, welcomed a baby boy named Kareem Kenkaide Haynes on July 18. His parents are totally in love with little “KK.” The new mom shared with Entertainment Tonight the baby’s name has a sweet meaning. “His dad named him with a lot of pride,” Ashanti shared. “Kenkaide is a tribute to her own father’s name and Kareem meaning generous, kind, and dignified spoke to the couple,” ET added. Although the couple never confirmed when KK was actually due, his mom told ET Nelly had to get on a last-minute flight to get home. Nelly was performing on Together Again tour this summer with Janet Jackson and had dates throughout June and July. Thankfully, he made it just in time. “Having all of us in the delivery room and seeing his face for the first time, I cried it was just so emotional and spiritual at the same time,” Ashanti told the publication. “Having a vision of this moment for so long…it was such an electrifying feeling.” Ashanti Is Embracing The Fourth Trimester KK is the first baby for Ashanti, who is rocking the postpartum period. She teased KK’s arrival earlier today with a post on Instagram showing off her curves, “Funny how life’s plans aren’t…always on time.. lol. I’ve been waiting to be a mom for a long time now but nothing could prepare me for EVERYTHING motherhood brings! This is what postpartum looks like. I’m loving these super cozy @fridamom shorts! I’m so proud of my body for giving me my baby, baby, baby, baby, baby.” Nelly has some dad experience, but it’s been a while since he’s had a baby around. He has a daughter, Chanelle, who goes by Nana, 30, and a son, Cornell Haynes III, 25, who goes by Tre. Nelly also helped raise his sister’s two children, Sydney and Shawn, after she died from Leukemia in 2005. Congratulations to the happy couple, and welcome to KK. You’ve proven to many people that true love waits, and dreams come true. This story’s featured image is by Paul Morigi/Getty Images. These Are The Most Influential People Of The 20th Century

The 20th century was undoubtedly wrought with tragic events. The Holocaust claimed the lives of millions, the atomic bombing of Hiroshima changed the way we think about war, and the assassination of President Kennedy was a profoundly somber moment in history. But the 20th century was also full of hope, promise, and progress. Women gained the right to vote in 1920, man landed on the moon in 1969... Source

PBS’s Judy Woodruff Apologizes for Forwarding Bad Reporting at DNC on Trump Phone Call

During Night One of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, veteran reporter Judy Woodruff falsely reported on a Donald Trump phone call to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that never happened, a call that would have made Trump appear to influence Israel’s war policy in order to help himself win election. Discussing how lame-duck President Joe Biden could still help VP Kamala Harris succeed him in office, Woodruff made the hasty, unsourced claim that showed Trump as unscrupulous during the 11 p.m. (ET) hour Monday night. Judy Woodruff: I would venture to say, without hearing this directly from anybody, that one thing that the Harris campaign would love is if President Biden would bring home a cease-fire in the Middle East right now between Gaza and Israel. We know that Secretary of State Blinken is over there right now working Netanyahu. The reporting is that former President Trump is on the phone with the prime minister of Israel urging him not to cut a deal right now because that, it’s believed that would help the Harris campaign. So, I don’t know where that -- who knows whether that will come about or not, but I have to think that the Harris campaign would like for President Biden to do what presidents do, which is work on that one. The accusation is reminiscent of the “October Surprise” election conspiracy theory -- the unsubstantiated rumor that Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential campaign, led by William Casey, delayed the release of the 52 American hostages in Iran in order to win election over Democrat Jimmy Carter. But “the reporting” Woodruff cited turned out false, and Woodruff herself seemed to have misinterpreted it anyway. The next day, after Netanyahu’s office denied the call had occurred, Woodruff took to X to “clarify,” explaining she had mistakenly forwarded initial faulty reporting that had been corrected afterward. Yet strangely, not even Axios's original bad report backed up what Woodruff said about Trump urging Netanyahu not to cut a deal with Hamas. If anything, the report suggested Trump was pushing him to take it: "One source said Trump's call was intended to encourage Netanyahu to take the deal, but stressed he didn't know if this is indeed what the former president told Netanyahu." Where did Woodruff get the opposite idea, then? Here's Woodruff's apologetic X post: I want to clarify my remarks on the PBS News special on Monday night about the ongoing cease fire talks in the Middle East. As I said, this was not based on my original reporting; I was referring to reports I had read, in Axios and Reuters, about former President Trump having spoken to the Israeli Prime Minister. In the live TV moment, I repeated the story because I hadn't seen later reporting that both sides denied it. This was a mistake and I apologize for it. After first reporting on the alleged Trump-Netanyahu call last week, Axios updated its story with an Editor’s Note, August 15.  This story has been updated to reflect that Netanyahu's office denied a phone call took place on Wednesday between the Israeli prime minister and former President Trump. Woodruff cited the discredited account during PBS’s live DNC coverage five days later, on Monday night, August 20.
