Former President Donald Trump promised at a rally in North Carolina on Wednesday to remove all the military commanders who have pushed “insulting” woke policies under the Biden-Harris administration. Trump made the comments during a rally at the North Carolina Aviation Museum and Hall of Fame in Asheboro, North Carolina. The rally was his first outdoor event since he was nearly assassinated last month when he was struck by a bullet while speaking at a campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania. Speaking from behind bulletproof glass, Trump said that he would rid the military of wokeness if elected president, warning that electing Vice President Kamala Harris would continue the radicalization of the military. “Under ‘Comrade Kamala,’ our military has been abused for radical social experiments,” he said. “On day one, I will get Critical Race Theory and transgender insanity the hell out of our U.S. Armed Forces. For example, the U.S. Special Forces put out a report claiming that “diversity and inclusion are operational imperatives.” Trump said those policies would stop if he was elected in November. “If you want to have a sex change or a social justice seminar, then you can do it somewhere else, but you’re not going to do it in the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Space Force, or the United States Marines,” he said. “The military brass that lead these absurd and insulting initiatives will likewise be removed.
