Insiders: Biden Isn't Telling the Truth About How He Feels About Obama and Pelosi After He Was Pushed Out of Race

President Joe Biden still holds ill will toward former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and, to a lesser extent, former President Barack Obama for their roles in moving him off the Democratic ticket. "Biden has told his closest aides and associates that he is coming to terms with his decision to...

Tim Walz Agrees To Debate Against J.D. Vance – Here’s The Date

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz agreed to a debate against Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH). Walz accepted an invitation to a debate hosted by CBS News on October 1st in New York City. “Today, CBS News invited both vice-presidential candidates to participate in a debate in New York City,” the network announced. “We provided the campaigns with four dates as options: Sept. 17, Sept. 24, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8. We look forward to their responses and providing voters with an opportunity to hear directly from the vice-presidential candidates,” it added. See you on October 1, JD. https://t.co/ssi0FdseN9 — Tim Walz (@Tim_Walz) August 14, 2024 “Vance said during a Fox News interview Wednesday night that he planned to debate Walz, but did not commit to a specific date,” NBC News reports. “We’re certainly going to debate Tim Walz. We just heard about this thing three hours ago, so we’re going to talk to them and figure out when we can debate,” Vance told Laura Ingraham, the outlet noted. Per NBC News: CBS News said Wednesday that it had invited the two vice presidential candidates to debate and that it proposed four dates as options: Sept. 17, Sept. 24, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8. “We look forward to their responses,” the network said. A spokesperson for CBS News did not immediately respond to a request for comment about whether Vance had responded to the network. Trump said last week that his campaign had agreed to participate in a vice presidential debate on CBS News, adding that Vance “has really stepped up. He’s doing a fantastic job.” No debate date was specified. Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have agreed to a Sept. 10 debate hosted by ABC News. The Ohio senator said he wants a “real debate” with Walz and not a “fake news media garbage debate.” “We want to actually look at the debates, look at the moderators, talk about the rules a little bit,” he said, according to Fox News. If you look at the way that we’ve run this campaign, Donald Trump and I are giving every media interview. We’re talking to every audience that we can get in front of because our vision is so clear,” he told Ingraham. “We don’t think that Americans who work hard and play by the rules should struggle to afford groceries. We don’t think our children should be killed by fentanyl, and we have a vision for how to implement public policies that are going to secure that border, cut down on the drugs, and bring the cost of everything from groceries to housing down to reasonable levels. Because we have that vision, we’re going to go anywhere and talk to anybody.”

NFL Head Coach Offers Job To Colin Kaepernick

NFL Head Coach Offers Job To Colin Kaepernick

Jim Harbaugh, head coach for the Los Angeles Chargers, has a job offer for former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. However, Kaepernick’s role wouldn’t be on the field. Harbaugh, who coached Kaepernick in San Francisco, wants to give the former quarterback a shot at coaching. The Chargers & HC Jim Harbaugh have offered former NFL QB Colin Kaepernick a coaching position with the team. pic.twitter.com/osbiFL7JW7 — SAY CHEESE! (@SaycheeseDGTL) August 14, 2024 Per USA TODAY: Colin Kaepernick has a door open to return to the NFL in what would be a grand reunion with his former coach, Jim Harbaugh. But here’s the twist: While Kaepernick, 36, recently told Sky Sports that he still wants to play in the NFL, the new Los Angeles Chargers coach contends that he wants his former quarterback back in the NFL as a member of his coaching staff – and not so much as a player. “If that was ever the path he was to take, I think that would be tremendous,” Harbaugh told USA TODAY Sports. “He’d be a tremendous coach, if that’s the path he chose.” During an interview following a training camp practice last week, Harbaugh said shortly after he returned to the NFL in January, he talked to Kaepernick about joining the Chargers in a non-playing capacity. Yet in the months since, there’s been no movement on the possibility. Harbaugh said Kaepernick is “considering it.” “He was out of the country. He said he was going to get back to me. We haven’t reconnected since then. That was early, early in the year,” Harbaugh said, according to USA TODAY. “We’re still training, still pushing,” Kaepernick told Sky Sports. “Hopefully, we’ve just got to get one of these team owners to open up,” he added. WATCH: "We've just got to get one of these team owners to open up" Colin Kaepernick on his desire to return to NFL pic.twitter.com/jcV77pORN2 — Sky Sports NFL (@SkySportsNFL) August 13, 2024 Outkick reports: While Harbaugh might want to help out a former player, bringing Kaepernick into the fold would almost certainly be a disaster for PR. His refusal to stand for the national anthem sparked outrage with the league that took significant time to subside. People simply do not like Kaep for many justified reasons. As I wrote Tuesday, these are a few quick examples: Refused to stand for the national anthem. Wore socks depicting cops as pigs. Praised Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. Compared police to slave catchers. Claimed cops get paid leave for murdering people. Compared NFL Combine to a slave auction. Why would the Chargers or the NFL want to potentially deal with the fallout that would come with employing Kaepernick?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Allegedly Sought Meeting With Harris Team To Discuss Potential Role In Administration In Exchange For Endorsement

According to multiple outlets, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. allegedly attempted to arrange a meeting with Kamala Harris to discuss a potential role, possibly as a Cabinet secretary, in her administration if he dropped out of the election and endorsed her. “Harris and her advisers have not responded with an offer to meet or shown interest in the proposal, say people familiar with the conversations,” The Washington Post reports. The outlet cited Kennedy campaign officials in its report. NEWS Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sought a meeting last week with Democratic nominee Kamala Harris to discuss the possibility of serving in her administration, perhaps as a Cabinet secretary, if he throws his support behind her campaign and she wins. In those discussions, Kennedy spoke about advising Trump in a second term on health and medical issues. The independent candidate and namesake of the most famous American political dynasty is exploring multiple options for the future of his presidential effort, which has seen a decline in national polling since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race. His campaign has produced polling, which it has tried to share with Democrats, that it claims shows both Harris and Trump would get a boost in their public support across 31 states if either candidate announced publicly that Kennedy would have a Cabinet role in their administration. At the moment, Kennedy says he is continuing to campaign with the expectation that he will defeat both Trump and Harris, making regular interview appearances, releasing an “America Strong” plan for bipartisan governance and planning upcoming rallies in states such as Arizona and Nebraska. But he has also left open the possibility of bowing out of the race if he finds another way to bring about the change he seeks in the country, his advisers say. “Robert F. Kennedy Jr tried meeting with Kamala Harris for a cabinet job but was turned down according to the Washington Post. According to the report, RFK offered to endorse Harris in exchange for a position such as a Cabinet secretary,” Collin Rugg wrote. “RFK made a similar proposal to Donald Trump last month during a meeting that didn’t end in an agreement. The video below, believed to be the same meeting, was leaked showing Trump urging Kennedy to endorse him. Harris ‘rebuffed’ RFK’s offer as reported by The Post. Since Biden dropped out, Kennedy has dropped from about 9% to 5% in national polling,” he added. WATCH: JUST IN: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. approached the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris last week to discuss the possibility of serving in her administration if she were to win the presidential race in November, two sources familiar with the situation told CBS News. Harris and her advisers have not responded with an offer to meet or shown interest in the proposal, according to one of those sources. “No one has any intention of negotiating with a MAGA-funded fringe candidate who has sought out a job with Donald Trump in exchange for an endorsement,” the source said. Stefanie Spear, a spokesperson for the Kennedy campaign, told CBS News in a statement Wednesday that “Mr. Kennedy is willing to meet with leaders of both parties to discuss the possibility of a unity government.”
