According to multiple outlets, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. allegedly attempted to arrange a meeting with Kamala Harris to discuss a potential role, possibly as a Cabinet secretary, in her administration if he dropped out of the election and endorsed her. “Harris and her advisers have not responded with an offer to meet or shown interest in the proposal, say people familiar with the conversations,” The Washington Post reports. The outlet cited Kennedy campaign officials in its report. NEWS Robert F. In those discussions, Kennedy spoke about advising Trump in a second term on health and medical issues. The independent candidate and namesake of the most famous American political dynasty is exploring multiple options for the future of his presidential effort, which has seen a decline in national polling since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race. His campaign has produced polling, which it has tried to share with Democrats, that it claims shows both Harris and Trump would get a boost in their public support across 31 states if either candidate announced publicly that Kennedy would have a Cabinet role in their administration. At the moment, Kennedy says he is continuing to campaign with the expectation that he will defeat both Trump and Harris, making regular interview appearances, releasing an “America Strong” plan for bipartisan governance and planning upcoming rallies in states such as Arizona and Nebraska. But he has also left open the possibility of bowing out of the race if he finds another way to bring about the change he seeks in the country, his advisers say. “Robert F. Kennedy Jr tried meeting with Kamala Harris for a cabinet job but was turned down according to the Washington Post. According to the report, RFK offered to endorse Harris in exchange for a position such as a Cabinet secretary,” Collin Rugg wrote. “RFK made a similar proposal to Donald Trump last month during a meeting that didn’t end in an agreement. The video below, believed to be the same meeting, was leaked showing Trump urging Kennedy to endorse him. Harris ‘rebuffed’ RFK’s offer as reported by The Post. Since Biden dropped out, Kennedy has dropped from about 9% to 5% in national polling,” he added. WATCH: JUST IN: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. approached the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris last week to discuss the possibility of serving in her administration if she were to win the presidential race in November, two sources familiar with the situation told CBS News. Harris and her advisers have not responded with an offer to meet or shown interest in the proposal, according to one of those sources. “No one has any intention of negotiating with a MAGA-funded fringe candidate who has sought out a job with Donald Trump in exchange for an endorsement,” the source said. Stefanie Spear, a spokesperson for the Kennedy campaign, told CBS News in a statement Wednesday that “Mr. Kennedy is willing to meet with leaders of both parties to discuss the possibility of a unity government.”

A.F. Branco Cartoon – A Democrat party coup was exercised against Biden because they were afraid he was going to lose. They say this was because Biden is mentally unable to handle the election. Then why is he still running the country? Or is he? Nancy Pelosi Takes Credit for Leading the Coup to Oust Joe Biden — Says She Has ‘Never Been Impressed with Biden’s Political Operation’ By Jim Hoft – Aug 9, 2024 Like a true mafia boss, Nancy Pelosi took credit in a recent interview on ousting Joe Biden in the Democrat Party coup. Democrats call this “democracy.” Less than a month ago Democrats ousted Joe Biden in a silent weekend coup. Joe went AWOL supposedly for COVID and when he came back a week later he was no longer the Democrat candidate for president. The party elites took him out. It was such a smooth maneuver that there were rumors that Old Joe had kicked the bucket. Pelosi was quickly singled out as the mob boss behind the coup. Now she’s finally talking. Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) slammed Vice President Kamala Harris during a rally on Wednesday for avoiding the media and interactions with the American people. Vance took the shot at the Democrat presidential nominee while hitting the stump for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. He said anyone who wanted to represent Americans owed it to voters to answer their questions and try to earn their vote. “You have got to stand before the American people and answer tough questions if you want to do this job,” he said. “And it is scandalous that Kamala Harris is running from the media, but more importantly, she’s running from the American people. That’s a disgrace. I’ve never seen a presidential campaign in the history of my life where a person is asking to be the President of the United States, but she’s afraid of you guys [the media].” WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘AM I RACIST?’ — A MATT WALSH COMEDY ON DEI “If you can’t answer questions from the media, do you think you’re gonna be able to take on Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping?” he asked. “If you’re afraid of answering before the American people, how can we possibly trust you to sit in a room with world leaders and represent the American people?” Vance added that Harris’s avoidance of the media and voters showed she “has no vision” and “no policies.” “Go to her website, ask yourself, what is it that Kamala Harris wants to do for this country? And the answer is, she has no idea. None of us have any idea,” he said. “What Kamala Harris is going to do for the American people is exactly what she’s done for the last three and a half years, which is fail. So we cannot give her a promotion. We’ve got to say, ‘You are fired.'” WATCH: JD Vance absolutely wrecks Kamala Harris for hiding from the media and refusing to answer any tough questions ? “It is scandalous that Kamala Harris is running from the media, but more importantly, she’s running from the American people.” pic.twitter.com/wYiubNVKKs — Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) August 14, 2024

It’s tough enough to be a woman traveling alone, but one mom was especially nervous about taking a trip with her toddler. How would she manage in a strange place without her usual support network? What about the dangers of solo travel? These were definitely reasonable concerns, but this mom found that people are sometimes kinder than you expect them to be. In a video on social media, the woman recounted the many strangers who helped her while she was traveling alone. Keeping a toddler entertained during a long trip can be a challenge, so Mom was relieved when other travelers played with her son. One elderly man even held the little boy on his lap so that he could see out the window! @notaregularnanny Sobbing crying making this video my faith in humanity was restored after this whole experience #ittakesavillage #myvillage #motherhood #solotravel #solomom #travelingwithkids #stranded #momsoftiktok #faithinhumanityrestored ♬ Outro by m83 – ???? Obviously, the biggest concern for a woman traveling alone is safety. Luckily, this mom encountered some really sweet people who were happy to look out for her and her son. An Uber driver, for example, didn’t want these two to be stranded at the station late at night, so he let them stay in his car until their train arrived. “Sometimes it’s not the village you bring with you, it’s the village you find along the way,” wrote the mom at the end of her post. Many commenters said that seeing so many acts of kindness in one video filled them with hope! “You had like 8 of the best possible human experiences in one trip,” wrote one user. Another added, “Sobbing for the humanity left in this world that surrounded you when you really needed it.” Screengrab from TikTok It’s always important to exercise caution around strangers, especially as a woman traveling alone. However, it’s heartwarming to see so many people willing to help a single mom get to her destination safely. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here.
