The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, a marine life protection nonprofit, recently named their newly acquired anti-poaching boat after Bob Barker, who, aside from hosting The Price Is Right, was a dedicated animal rights activist. He pioneered campaigns and influenced fans to join in the fight for sea animals. The M/V Bob Barker will be put to good use in preventing poachers from further depleting endangered marine species with a focus on the Western Hemisphere. According to Sea Shepherd CEO Pritam Singh, the 130-foot sea vehicle will continue Bob’s work of protecting nature.
