When “Going To A Coffee Shop With Crazy Hair” Turns Surprisingly Inspirational

If you’re afraid of looking silly in public, this woman’s social experiment might just help. Sophie Jones believes that “no one really cares” if you do something embarrassing, and she came up with the perfect way to prove it. She decided to film herself going to a coffee shop with “crazy hair” that would draw attention to herself. That way, her viewers would see that it wasn’t so scary! When Sophie called her hair “crazy,” she didn’t mean that it was a little messy or disheveled. She purposely gave herself a truly hilarious ‘do that would probably have been the height of fashion in Dr. Seuss’s Whoville. It involved about a foot of hair standing straight up on top of the woman’s head! This bizarre ponytail was fastened by colorful ribbons for a bit of extra flair. @sophie_jones111 When it cuts to third person #fearofembarrassment #rejectiontherapy ♬ original sound – Sophie Jones Wearing her crazy hair with confidence, Sophie approached the barista as if nothing were out of the ordinary. After ordering her drink, she sat down in the middle of the coffee shop to make sure that everyone could see her. Then, she filmed the reactions of the other patrons — or, rather, the lack thereof. Everybody else was way too busy enjoying their own drinks and chatting with their friends to even notice Sophie’s funny hairstyle! “Honestly, the world isn’t gonna stop spinning if you embarrass yourself or if you do something that’s out of your comfort zone,” the young woman reiterated. “You have to step out of your comfort zone to prove that nothing happens.” What an inspiring message! Screengrab from TikTok Obviously, it’s not always true that people won’t notice if you do something odd in public. However, Sophie reassured her viewers that even this wouldn’t be the end of the world. “You really have to drill into your mind that what people think of you actually can’t hurt you,” she said. “And who’s to say they’re thinking anything bad?” Now, it’s your turn to do something you’re afraid of. Go out there and be silly! You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Man Creates Magical Mini Blockbuster In His Closet & The Results Are Nostalgia At It’s Best

Today’s children will never know the wonder of wandering through a Blockbuster video store. The iconic blue and yellow sign shaped like a movie ticket meant a fun family movie night. Families would browse the store, arguing about which movie to take home. When John Martino realized he had collected a lot of VHS tapes, he decided to make a special storage area for them. He converted a tiny closet into a mini Blockbuster, which is impressive. Image from TikTok. John documented the project in a TikTok slide show. He decided to convert a small closet into a video storage space. The idea of styling the space like a mini Blockbuster hit him like a runaway freight train. John got paint, ordered a sign, picked a nice carpet, and went to work. Image from TikTok. With the carpet in place and the walls painted a sunshine yellow, John added shelves. The old video stores were well-lit, and John wanted his mini Blockbuster to be as realistic as possible, so he added remote-controlled lighting. When the sign was mounted, a few final touches were added. John included a small rack on the wall for staff picks and a collection of movie theater candy. He didn’t want to leave out his “son,” so a revolving floor rack was added to house his pug’s favorite movies. Image from TikTok. As his video collection grew, John had to add shelves to his mini Blockbuster and another feature featuring “Coming Soon” titles. John worked hard to include every detail from his memories. However, only one Blockbuster video store is still open, so he couldn’t go to a store for inspiration. John did a fantastic job converting his closet to a mini Blockbuster. Please share. 10 Best Songs With The Word ‘Me’ In The Title

Rock and roll thrives on connection, and few words in the English language connect as powerfully as “me.” Elton John’s “Blues For Baby And Me” channels the exhilaration of love and freedom against a backdrop of wistful melodies and vivid imagery. Steely Dan’s “Don’t Take Me Alive” captures a tense narrative of rebellion, woven through with complex instrumentation and haunting lyrics. Maria McKee’s “Show Me Heaven” is a soaring ode to vulnerability and desire, her voice embodying both strength and fragility. Chicago’s “Just You And Me” shines with its lush arrangements and heartfelt declaration of love’s simplicity. Dragon Age The Veilguard is just as much an RPG as its predecessors

There’s a jump button in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Press it, and the game’s custom-made protagonist, Rook, leaps upward. The same button lets Rook vault across waist-high barriers and clamber up ledges, traversing the fantasy world of Thedas with acrobatic ease. It’s a small detail, this jump button, but combined with dozens of other design choices, it makes The Veilguard feel distinct from more traditional RPGs. The latest from BioWare, a studio responsible for classics of the genre ranging from the original Baldur’s Gate games through to the Mass Effect series and first trio of Dragon Age entries, is a significant departure from the team’s house style. War of the Worlds Siberia reveals stunning gameplay for the first time

For many, H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds would have been the first time the concept of alien races and interplanetary invasions would have ever entered their heads. The classic late 19th century novel was so ahead of its time, going on to inspire so much other media and being spun off into several movies and TV shows. However, as far as War of the Worlds games go, we haven’t seen one since 1999. Well, The War of the Worlds Siberia is looking to change that, and the third-person action adventure game has just given us our first glimpse at some gameplay - and boy, does it look good.
