Barack and Michelle Obama endorsed Kamala Harris, who they likely chose for the vice presidential spot in the first place. Who can forget the cringe-worthy documentary the Obamas made of her? As Dr. Ben Carson said, Kamala is a Marxist. She will do as told. A boy managed to baffle his father with a hilarious magic trick involving a kitchen drawer, and we’re betting you’ll be stumped, too! In this viral video on social media, the clever kid tried convincing the grown-ups in his house that one of the kitchen cabinets could follow commands — but only for him! He demonstrated by ordering the top drawer to open, then close. It did both, seemingly on its own! View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kamaran (@worrld_travel) Dad couldn’t believe his eyes when his son managed to open the kitchen drawer as if by magic. Obviously, he had to try out this supposed “automatic” feature. However, when he said, “Open,” nothing happened. He was truly puzzled. How was this little boy controlling the furniture? Next, it was Aunt Colleen’s turn to check out the magic kitchen drawer. Once again, the object wouldn’t open until the young boy commanded it to. He gleefully danced around as the grown-ups remained flabbergasted. “It’s programmed for me,” he told them. How did this little boy get the kitchen drawer to magically open? Aunt Collen knew that there was something up with this kitchen drawer, and she was determined to find the real cause behind the magic trick. So, she did a little investigating. When she opened the cupboard below the drawer, who should she find but an accomplice! The child cackled with laughter as another boy climbed out of the cabinet. He’d been opening and closing the drawer from his hiding place all along! “I knew Thomas was under there,” Aunt Colleen exclaimed. Well, she was certainly a step ahead of us! Commenters were pretty impressed by these young boys and their clever prank. Screengrab from Instagram “He didn’t lie though, it was programmed for him,” one user joked. Another added, “I thought someone had a remote control somewhere helping him look cool and all.” What a great prank! These kids sure had us fooled for a while. Physics is a complicated topic. There's no shame in not completely understanding the black hole information paradox, for example, or the nature of dark energy and dark matter. Physicists don't fully understand these topics either. But sometimes the misunderstandings of non-scientists can be painful to scientists, as demonstrated in a recent Reddit thread that asked "What is the worst physics take you ever heard?" Below are a few of the best/worst/most painful takes from the thread.          IFLScience is not responsible for content shared from external sites.          IFLScience is not responsible for content shared from external sites. While introducing children to simpler models and then telling them later that's not what's really going on fundamentally is a staple of the sciences, telling children that gravity is caused by the Earth's spin is just incorrect. The spin of the Earth actually creates a centrifugal force, a slightly outwards force that causes the Earth to bulge at the equator, and you to weigh slightly less while standing there.          IFLScience is not responsible for content shared from external sites. While if the Earth was further from the Sun it would definitely be cooler, it is not the reason why it is cooler at higher latitudes than lower ones."In general, the farther from the equator an area is, the colder and snowier it will be," NASA explains.
