11/1 The Cure’s New Album “Songs Of A Lost World” contains the ethereal track “Alone.” Frontman Robert Smith (pictured center) has stated “Alone” “unlocked the record.” “As soon as we had that piece of music recorded, I knew it was the opening song – and I felt the whole album come into focus,” Smith concluded. 11/2 Linkin Park Performs At World Championship They play “Heavy Is The Crown” during the 2024 League Of Legends World Championship opening ceremony at the O2 Arena in London. It’s the band’s first collaboration with Riot Games. 11/3 Zakk Wylde Plays Anthem Black label Society frontman and longtime Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde plays the U.S. national anthem prior to kickoff of the Seahawks’ matchup vs. the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field in Seattle. This comes less than a week after Trump is re-elected as president. 11/12 Duran Duran Frontman Honored Simon Le Bon is formally appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) during a ceremony at Windsor Castle in recognition of his contributions to music and charity. 11/13 Megadeth Settles Megadeth and frontman Dave Mustaine agree to pay $1.4 million to resolve allegations that they still owed commissions to former manager Cory Brennan after he was “unceremoniously” fired and replaced by Mustaine’s son. The settlement does not end the dispute entirely. Mustaine countersued Brennan last year, claiming his tenure as manager had been “plagued with missteps” that caused Mustaine serious physical and emotional harm. 11/15 Linkin Park Issue “From Zero” The set contains “The Emptiness Machine,” which went to #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, “Heavy Is The Crown” and recent single, “Over Each Other.” The album features two new members, vocalist Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain. 11/15 Linkin Park Radio Returns to SiriusXM The exclusive pop-up channel is hosted and curated by the band in celebration of the release of “From Zero.” 11/15 Poppy Releases Her Sixth Album  “Negative Spaces” features the track “They’re All Around Us.” It was produced and co-written by former Bring Me The Horizon member Jordan Fish. 11/15 Nickelback Unfurl “Live From Nashville” The set was recorded in Nashville in August ’23 as part of Nickelback’s “Get Rollin’” tour. There are guest appearances by Chris Daughtry, Country Rock’s Josh Ross and Brantley Gilbert (for a cover of Steve Earle’s “Copperhead Road”) and Hardy (“Sold Out”). The lead single is “San Quentin.” 11/15 Silverlites Roll Out Debut Album Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees/Mad Season), Peter Buck (R.E.M.), Rich Robinson (The Black Crowes) and singer/songwriter Joseph Arthur are the Silverlites.  “We used a classic songwriting form, which is often forgotten in this day and age,” explained Martin. “That is, acoustic guitars with superb lead vocals, catchy backing vocals, and a soulful backbeat in the rhythm section. It’s old school songwriting, just like us.” 11/15 As I Lay Dying “Through The Storms Ahead” As I Lay Dying’s eighth full-length studio offering “Through Storms Ahead,” arrives. The album was finished before four bandmembers – bassist Ryan Neff, guitarist Ken Susi, guitarist Phil Sgrosso and drummer Nick Pierce – announced their departures. The title seems prophetic. 11/15 My Chemical Romance Sells Out The “‘Long Live’: The Black Parade 2025 North American Stadium Tour” 365,000 tickets within hours. 11/16 First #1 For The Funeral Portrait “Suffocate City,” featuring Spencer Chamas, the lead vocalist for the Heavy Metal band Ice Nine Kills, is #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. 11/18 Sammy Hagar Misses His Tequilia Sunrise Sammy Hagar and his business partner, chef Guy Fieri, go public with news that their joint tequila business suffered a huge setback after two trucks carrying about $1 million worth of their Santo Tequila was hijacked in a double heist near Lorado. TX during the weekend of November 9th. 11/19 Life Of Agony Vocalist Says She’s “Cured” Transgender singer Mina Caputo reports in an Instagram post that she has “cured” her gender dysphoria and will change her name back to Keith Caputo after being “physically completely detransitioned” next year. 11/20 George Harrison Guitar Auctioned For Record Amount The Resonet Futurama guitar, played during The Beatles‘ early years, sells for $1.27 million at Julien’s Auctions’ “Played, Worn & Torn II” event. Originally priced at between $600,000 to $800,000, the Resonet Futurama is the most expensive Harrison-owned guitar ever sold at auction. 11/21 Former Iron Maiden Vocalist Laid To Rest Early Iron Maiden frontman Paul Di’Anno is buried in London. He was in Iron Maiden from 1978 to 1981 and died on October 21st of heart issues. 11/22 Marilyn Manson’s Twelfth Album “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1” and the title track are released. It is Manson’s first album since his ’20 LP “We Are Chaos,” which debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200. The set features the title track, “Raise The Red Flag,” Sacrilegious” and “As Sick As The Secrets Within.” 11/23 Nothing More Returns To #1 “Angel Song,” featuring Disturbed’s David Draiman, is #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart. It’s the second straight #1 for the band following last summer’s “If It Doesn’t Hurt.” 11/24 Sammy Hagar Plays Halftime In Vegas Sammy Hagar, with former Van Halen bandmate, bassist Michael Anthony, preview their upcoming Las Vegas residency during a special halftime performance at the Las Vegas Raiders’ game against the Denver Broncos at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. They play “I Can’t Drive 55” and “Right Here, Right Now,” Broncos win 29-19. 11/25 Gibson Wants To Halt Trump Guitars Gibson Guitars confirms that it has issued a cease and desist order to Trump Guitars over the use of its single-cut electric guitar model, “as the design infringes upon Gibson’s exclusive trademarks, particularly the iconic Les Paul body shape.” The company claims they have the “only guitar officially endorsed by President Donald J. Trump. 11/26 Marilyn Manson Drops Lawsuit Against Evan Rachel Wood In ’22, Manson filed a defamation lawsuit against Wood, a little over a year after she had publicly named him as her abuser. Wood entered into a relationship with the musician when she was 18. Manson also agrees to pay $327,000 for Wood’s legal fees – seemingly concluding the ongoing litigation. 11/27 Feds Seize Bogus Gibson Guitars Gibson representatives announce the seizure of over 3,000 counterfeit Gibson guitars intercepted by federal authorities. The guitars were shipped in in ocean containers from Asia.
