If you have ever used a metal detector, you understand the joy of finding old relics. Many people might be amazed when this metal detecting team unveils their finds at an 1800s clothing factory. Artifacts were lying on the surface in many areas, plainly visible without using metal detectors. Some of the early finds included suspender buckles used between 1850 and 1920. Some of those relics included a leg from an old porcelain doll, a lens from spectacles, a glass button from the mid-to-late 1800s, and a clay marble. Although metal detector finds aren’t always glamorous, this 1800s clothing factory seems to be a treasure trove of ancient relics. Using the sifter, explorers found items they would have missed.
