The witness and a resort security guard observe several massive amber-colored lights above the location, He later reports the sighting to NUFORC. A black helicopter appears the next day.I received the following account:"Hi, Lon. I would like to relay an experience I had back in the summer of 2007. To keep this part brief, I was working at a resort 30 minutes from Pine Bush, New York. A security guard and I watched about 8 amber-colored diamond-shaped lights from the rooftop of the resort. The lights were massive. This took place around 9:30 pm that night. I reported it on the National UFO Report Center website.The next day while I was working, I heard a helicopter coming towards the building. I went outside to see it because it sounded very low. When I got out front, there was a black helicopter hanging above the main entrance. It then went over the building towards the back where there is a small pond. I ran through the building to the back to get a better look. When I burst through the door, the helicopter was hovering about 10 feet above the pond. This thing was a matte black color with no marking whatsoever. It sort of looked like an Apache (Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter).The thing that made me uneasy was that while I was looking at the helicopter, I could see the pilot. He was in all black with a black helmet and visor, the reason I could tell was because he was staring right at me. That part of his face I could see was a pasty pale color. He stared at me for about 30 seconds then the helicopter lifted up and left towards the east. The weirdest thing was that after it lifted off and went over the building, I could not hear the blades anymore. It's like it wasn't even there. A couple is hiking & camping in Gifford Pinchot National Forest when a gossamer-like entity appears to the woman. Later, her companion encountered the same entity at home.The following account was forwarded to me:"Before my husband and I were married, we went overnight hiking on one of our first dates. It was about a five-mile hike to our destination, the Bolt Camp shelter. It’s just a little wooden shelter in the middle of nowhere in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.The hike was beautiful. The sun was going down and there were many ancient Douglas Fir trees with hollow bases. The sun was setting through them and they looked like little faerie abodes with warm hearth fires burning within. There were little wooden footbridges here and there, we could imagine little trolls living under them. As night fell we started seeing all these bioluminescent mushrooms on fallen logs, glowing an impossible shade of green. It was magical.We arrived at the shelter, built a fire, ate dinner, drank a bit, and went to sleep under the shelter (which was half collapsed because a tree had fallen on it at some point).I woke up in the middle of the night cold because the fire was out. Of course, it was pitch black. My husband was sleeping towards the outside of the shelter, me on the inside, facing near the back. That’s when I saw it. A “thing”, whatever it was, floating around inside the shelter. I don’t know how to describe it, other than a pinkish, gossamer spiderweb-looking thing, flying through the air, turning and twisting over and over on itself. It was really quite lovely. I wasn’t afraid of it, but so fascinated. I really wanted to wake him up and ask if he could see it, but I was afraid it would either disappear or he wouldn’t be able to see it and would think I was crazy. I mean, I barely knew the guy. So I watched it for a bit, fell back asleep, and said nothing.That was until a couple months later when we’d gotten more familiar and were reminiscing about our trip. I told him about it and his mouth dropped open in shock.So, we’d packed up and left the next day and I dropped him off at his house, that night he was out on his porch having a beer, when he saw the exact same thing! Twisting, floating through the air, seemingly almost a living thing. It dissipated near some shrubs, he was staring wondering what the heck he just saw when a pair of glowing red eyes appeared. The witness recounts his sighting of a huge black dog that crossed the road in front of him. He was surprised that his dogs never reacted to its presence.I received the following account:"I grew up in a rural area near the Allegheny National Forest in northwest Pennsylvania. When I was young, a teen near our house died in a car accident. Not an uncommon accident for a young teen. She crashed into a tree. But some said that she did so trying to avoid a dog. A big black dog with an unusually long tail according to some descriptions. It was said by some in the area that an old man in the area mistreated a dog, and the dog in question haunted the area seeking revenge. It was said that seeing the dog predicted either death or great fortune.My brother used to tell me stories about the big black dog. I pretty much ignored the stories until I encountered the dog for myself.When I was in high school I had a friend who I took with me pretty much everywhere. When we explored the woods near my house we always took my family dogs. It was a rural area where we regularly let dogs off leash and just expected them to follow us and not stray too far. If they ever encountered anything unusual they would absolutely alert and raise hell.Well, one time we were just making our way to the creek and I heard a rustle in the fall leaves. I watched a huge black dog with a stupidly long tail cross our road, crash through the leaves, and disappear into the woods. None of my dogs reacted to it in the slightest. I know if I saw/heard that dog move over the road the dogs would have; yet they didn't acknowledge it in the slightest. And my dogs were territorial. They would have chased a dog/rat/rabbit/whatever to the end of the earth. I thought I was hallucinating.Until my friend asked me if I had just seen that enormous black dog cross our path and asked me why none of my dogs reacted to it. It was so surreal. I thought I was being paranoid, and then my friend asked me why none of my dogs reacted to the strange black dog and if I even saw it. It was strangely even weirder having a close friend acknowledge the oddities. The only other time I have walked that way since; coyotes started whooping and we turned right around.
