Scared abandoned dog picks the exact ‘right home’ to wander up to

When a dog named Bubbles unexpectedly appeared in someone’s yard, it seemed like a mystery waiting to be solved. This yard wasn’t close to any other houses, making Bubbles’ sudden presence even more intriguing. The family wondered where she had come from and why she was alone. Little did they know, this was the beginning... The post Scared abandoned dog picks the exact ‘right home’ to wander up to appeared first on Animal Channel.

South American 'crime tourist' gangs suspected in several Utah burglaries

Gangs of foreign nationals apparently continue to ravage the country, as some are now suspected in a string of burglaries in the greater Salt Lake City area.In the past several months, local and federal law enforcement have warned Americans about gangs of foreign nationals allegedly engaging in "burglary tourism" in suburban Detroit, Scottsdale, and Los Angeles. These gangs either target residences while homeowners are away or approach unsuspecting victims to steal belongings off their persons.'Don't be paranoid or afraid, but just be smart, keep items of value close.'This second group of thieves follows the same basic modus operandi. Thieves work in pairs or groups of three. One member targets a victim and distracts him or her by asking for help, while an accomplice then quickly snatches the victim's wallet. The thieves then use the victim's cash or credit cards to purchase electronics or other expensive items that can be sold for a profit, all before the victim even realizes anything has been stolen."The victim believes the wallet is in the purse until they get to a point of sale or return home," said Lt. Brian Cooper of the Farmington Police Department in Farmington, Utah."These suspects are often parts of criminal organizations and will travel doing this. Sometimes they've been referred to as 'crime tourists,'" Cooper added.Though many American cities have been overrun by migrants in the country illegally, most of these gang members are actually in the U.S. legally, exploiting a security loophole in the federal visa waiver program. They then travel about the country in rental vehicles, reportedly using fake IDs.While some of these gangs come from China, most originate from Chile or other South American countries. "The common links are they're organized crime groups, they're here temporarily, and in our [recent] experience, they have been foreign nationals, but most closely associated with South American theft groups," Cooper explained. For now, these gangs have brazenly taken advantage of people's kindness and good nature, but few have engaged in acts of physical violence, Cooper claimed."We haven't seen many violent encounters or that they're armed," he said. "In one of our recent cases, the victim realized the theft was occurring [and] confronted the suspect; [the suspect] dropped the wallet and ran."Cooper and other members of Farmington PD believe "South American theft groups" are responsible for at least four robberies that occurred in Farmington within the past month. So far, police have managed to arrest several suspects, including America Daniela Gonzalez Tobar, a 42-year-old Chilean national listed on an FBI watch list because of her "ties to transnational criminal organizations, specifically the Chilean Theft Group."Cooper advised concerned Americans to have reasonable skepticism about pleas for help from strangers and to guard their belongings carefully. "Keep your property secure, don't be cavalier when shopping. Don't be paranoid or afraid, but just be smart, keep items of value close," he said.Unfortunately, valuables may not always be safe at home, either, as some criminal gangs have likewise been known to target residences when homeowners are out of town. To protect themselves against home invasion, Chris Bavender, an FBI public affairs specialist in Indianapolis, suggested that people "vary" their "daily routine," "take photos of valuables and keep those items in a safe," and refrain from leaving "large amounts of cash" in their homes.Like Blaze News? Whoopi Goldberg says she doesn't care if Biden 'pooped his pants' ... 'show me he can't do the job'

"The View" host Whoopi Goldberg defended President Joe Biden's ailing health on Monday by stating that she does not care if he pooped his pants but what matters is if he is able to do the job of leader of the free world.Goldberg's staunch defense of Biden comes as he is still trying to remain the Democratic Party's nominee for the upcoming election. After his disastrous performance in the first debate against former President Donald Trump, Biden is now fending off congressional Democrats who are calling for him to step down from the race. Biden has stated multiple times since the debate that he is not going anywhere.'I am firmly committed to staying in this race.'"I’m just going to add my two cents. ... I don’t care if he’s pooped his pants. I don’t care if he can’t put a sentence together. Show me he can’t do the job, and then I’ll say, 'Ok. Maybe it’s time to go.' Now, he had a bad night the first time that he went out and debated with Kamala Harris, and everybody wanted him to quit then and said, 'You can’t talk to women like this. You’re doing this wrong, you’re doing that wrong.' He came back and said, you know what? I got it. And gave four years," Goldberg said."I have poopy days all the time, all the time. I step in so much poo you can’t even imagine. Now, I’m not running the world, but I don’t know anybody who doesn’t step in stuff at some point. So, I’m just simply saying, yeah. There are two debates, and if he can’t do what he needs to do for the second debate, I’ll join any crew that says get rid of him," she continued. Whoopi Goldberg: I don't care if Biden pooped his pants, show me he can't do the job www.youtube.com Biden sent a letter to Democrats on Capitol Hill saying he is not bowing out of the election, pointing to the primaries that have already taken place that have him as the Democrats' nominee.“Despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump," he said.Like Blaze News? Poll reveals most Republicans want to see Sen. Tim Scott as Trump's running mate

A recent poll indicated that Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) made the top of the list as a potential vice president pick for Donald Trump. The poll was conducted by the Daily Mail. Others who made the top of the list included North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), and Senator J.D. Vance (R-Ohio). The Republican Party convention is set to take place next week, and Trump could announce his pick in the next few days, per the report. The development comes as President Joe Biden is struggling to gain the confidence of many Democrats who are not convinced he is capable of leading the country for another four years. The Daily Mail reported that it polled 1,000 likely voters, with 13% of those who took part saying that they want to see Scott nominated as the potential vice president. Rubio came in close behind in the second position, with 12% of the vote. Ben Carson, who served in Trump's Cabinet during his first term as president, also raked in 12% of the vote.Despite Vance winning the favor of many of Trump's supporters, he only garnered 4% of the vote for the vice president position. While rumors and speculations continue to swirl around, Trump said at the end of June that he had already made his decision for vice president. However, Trump's pick was never revealed during the first presidential debate. It appears that Trump's team wanted to keep the focus on Biden's poor performance, which has motivated many Democrats to urge the president to step down from his position. But Biden has insisted that he intends to stay in the race. Blaze News reported that Biden released a statement on Monday, saying that "I have heard the concerns that people have — their good-faith fears and worries about what is at stake. I also know these concerns come from a place of real respect for my lifetime of public service and my record as President, and I have been moved by the expressions of affection for me from so many who have known me well and supported me over the course of my public life." — (@) "I can respond to all this by saying clearly and unequivocally: I wouldn't be running again if I did not absolutely believe I was the best person to beat Donald Trump in 2024."Since the first presidential debate, Trump appears to have widened his marginal lead over the president. It is unclear whether Trump's team has a specific time at which to reveal his vice presidential pick.

10% of illegal aliens admit they're registered to vote: Heritage Foundation survey

A survey conducted by the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project found that 10% of illegal aliens and non-citizens stated that they are registered to vote in the upcoming election. In a video posted to X on July 4, Mike Howell, the Oversight Project's executive director, stated, "My fellow Americans, today we are calling on all of you to declare independence from foreigners deciding our elections. The evidence you are about to see relates to illegal aliens being registered to vote. This is a problem national in scale. The United States of America is for Americans, and our elections only should be decided by them."'If this proportion holds true nationwide, the integrity of the 2024 election is in jeopardy.'Muckraker.com reported that it interviewed dozens of individuals residing at a Charlotte, North Carolina, apartment complex primarily occupied by illegal aliens. A hidden camera captured several interviews with residents who claimed to be non-citizens who had also registered to vote."We come with a group, an organization that is trying to help register Hispanic people to vote. Because in a few months we will be voting for governor or president," the interviewees were told. Anthony Rubin, the founder of Muckraker, explained, "We visited the apartment complex to ask residents two questions: Are you registered to vote; and are you a citizen?""Shockingly, four of the 41 people we asked confirmed that they were a non-citizen and registered to vote," Rubin continued. "If this proportion holds true nationwide, the integrity of the 2024 election is in jeopardy."During an interview on Real America's Voice's "The War Room," Howell stated, "The borders have been wide open. We've been told by the left and the mainstream media that poses no threat to the integrity of our election systems. We've been told that it's a conspiracy theory.""And so, what we did," Howell continued, "is simply went out and asked in an apartment complex in North Carolina. And discovered that illegal aliens, or non-citizens — wherever they are in the process — admitted to being registered to vote at a proportion that is four out of 40, which is 10%. If that pattern holds, with the 10 million plus that have come across the border, you do the math for an election last go-around that came down to 40,000 votes in a few key swing states. The plan from this Biden administration is to refuse a peaceful transition of power by relying on illegal aliens to vote for them, and that's clear as day."Howell noted that a report containing the survey's findings was sent to the state's governor and attorney general.Like Blaze News? Dark and Darker is still doing well on Steam one month after launch

Dark and Darker has had a tough time heading into its Steam Early Access launch. A throwback dungeon crawler that owes as much to classics like Wizardry, King's Field, Ultima Underworld, Eye of the Beholder, and Arx Fatalis, as it does modern takes on the genre like Darkest Dungeon or the Legend of Grimrock games, Dark and Darker vanished from Steam and spent much of last year embroiled in legal issues before finally returning to the platform last month. Since then, it's faced criticism from players upset with the difference between its paid and F2P versions, leading to mixed reviews. Still, despite these troubles, it's managed to maintain a healthy player base, continuing to foster an active community a month since its relaunch. Superb zombie strategy game They Are Billions on sale for lowest price

I love a good strategy game, especially when it combines multiple genres and mechanics like tower defense and dungeon crawling. I also love killing zombies, as I think most gamers do. Well, in the aptly named They Are Billions, you can slay (as the name suggests) billions of the nasty creatures. And right now you can do it for 30% off, the game's lowest price. A Banana style idle game called Hamster is blowing up on Steam

Create a platform of any kind on the modern internet and it won't be long until enterprising users figure out strange new ways to exploit it. Steam, despite being around for quite a while now, is no exception, with extremely simple idle or clicker games popping up on the storefront and climbing the charts based on the absurdity of their premises. In the past, we've seen games like Banana and Cats trend, their take on a genre once dominated by Cookie Clicker, Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, and AFK Journey boiled down to their foundations — and made a bit more nefarious by offering chances to collect item drops that can be sold for real money. The latest of these is called Hamster and, as its title suggests, it involves clicking (and clicking and clicking) on an image of a hamster.
