DISRUPT, DEFUND, DEPORT, DENY, DESTROY

by Jim Quinn, The Burning Platform: “At home, fellow citizens, you best know whether we have done well or ill. The suppression of unnecessary offices, of useless establishments and expenses enabled us to discontinue our internal taxes. These covering our land with officers, and opening our doors to their intrusions, had already begun that process […]

Master of Minefields - Check out this upcoming 'Minesweeper' game for the Commodore Amiga by Digital Worlds Studio

Ahh Minesweeper, a game that so many of us have played at least once! Although it wasn't my type of game however, it certainly had its cult following. For those of you who don't remember anything about this puzzler. Players had to clear the board of numbers without coming across deadly exploding bombs using help from clues about the number of neighbouring mines in each field. So why are we

CNN Let a Conservative Join Its Network: He's Tearing Them to Pieces

To protect sensitive Democrats from opinions that might make them uncomfortable, establishment media outlets seldom showcase anti-establishment voices. Thus, when CNN hired commentator Scott Jennings in 2017, network executives could not have known that seven years later, the former Republican strategist would emerge as one of the most effective spokesmen...

JUST IN: Mexican President Addresses Trump Tariff Threat, Migrant Caravans Will “No Longer Reach The Border”

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum addressed President Trump’s threat of imposing a steep tariff on all products from the country entering the United States. Trump said he would slap Canada and Mexico with a 25% tariff on all products entering the United States in an effort to stop the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs across the border. “As everyone is aware, thousands of people are pouring through Mexico and Canada, bringing Crime and Drugs at levels never seen before. Right now a Caravan coming from Mexico, composed of thousands of people, seems to be unstoppable in its quest to come through our currently Open Border,” Trump said. “On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders. This Tariff will remain in effect until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country!” he continued. “Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily solve this long simmering problem. We hereby demand that they use this power, and until such time that they do, it is time for them to pay a very big price!” he added. ( @realDonaldTrump – Truth Social Post )( Donald J. Per Newsweek: She also emphasized Mexico’s efforts to curb the flow of drugs, including the synthetic opioid fentanyl, while noting that it remains “a public health and consumption problem within your country’s society.” Newsweek reached out to Trump’s transition team for comment on Tuesday. As Trump prepares for his second inauguration, his harsh rhetoric on migration has resurfaced, coinciding with a caravan of approximately 1,500 migrants from Central and South America heading toward the U.S. border before his proposed policies take effect. The urgency is partly fueled by Trump’s promise to dismantle measures such as the CBP One app, which currently allows migrants to schedule asylum appointments remotely. However, Sheinbaum reminded Trump that Mexico is not to blame for the caravans reaching the border. “Maybe President Trump doesn’t know this, but of those arriving at the border—which is significantly fewer, 75 percent less than in December 2023—half them have a CBP One appointment. In other words, they have an appointment. So, they [the U.S.] are the ones inviting them to come to the United States,” she said. Sheinbaum also highlighted Mexico’s proactive role in addressing migration while criticizing the U.S. for failing to tackle the root causes. “If a percentage of what the United States spends on war were dedicated to peace and development, it would address the underlying causes of migration,” she said, advocating for regional investment over punitive measures. President Trump Speaks With Justin Trudeau Following Tariff Threat, “It Was A Good Call”

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he spoke with President Trump following his threat to impose a steep tariff on all products from the country entering the United States. “I had a good call with Donald Trump,” Trudeau told reporters. “We talked about some of the challenges we can work on together. It was a good call, this is something we can do,” he continued. It was a good call, this is something we can do." pic.twitter.com/vFirv7vlip — Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) November 26, 2024 Per BBC: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said his country is prepared to work with the US in “constructive ways” after President-elect Donald Trump said he would introduce 25% tariffs on goods coming from Canada. The tariff proposal made by Trump has been met with concern from Canadian officials. Doug Ford, the premier of the province of Ontario, described it as “devastating”. Trump also said he would impose a similar tariff on Mexico and an extra 10% on goods coming from China. Trudeau sought to reassure Canadians and will hold a meeting on Wednesday with Canadian provincial and territorial leaders to discuss how to move forward. Right now a Caravan coming from Mexico, composed of… pic.twitter.com/F1rjbSJqtv — Donald J. Trump TRUTH POSTS (@TruthTrumpPosts) November 25, 2024 A closer look: The Guardian reports: Given the United States, Canada and Mexico renegotiated a trade pact in 2018 and have deeply intertwined supply chains, a levy of 25% would prove devastating to Canada’s economy. The United States remains Canada’s biggest trading partner, with nearly C$600bn in goods exported to the US last year. Canadian ministers reacted with measured skepticism over the key claims made by Trump on immigration and drug trafficking. While a small but growing number of migrants are using Canada as a way into the US, far more people enter through Mexico. Canada’s immigration minister, Marc Miller, likened the 23,000 interceptions by US officials at the northern border last year to a “significant weekend at the Mexico border”, where 1,530,523 “encounters” were recorded last year. When it comes to the movement of fentanyl across the continent, so little enters the US through its northern border that the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) does not even mention Canada in a report from 2020, instead citing Mexico, China and India. “The amount of fentanyl that crosses the US-Canadian border is basically homeopathic!” wrote Toronto-based journalist John Michael McGrath on X, critiquing people who “sanewash” Trump’s demands. “This isn’t a serious demand! You don’t have to be stupid in public!” But the rightwing premier of the oil-rich province of Alberta said Trump had valid concerns over illegal activities at the shared border. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum addressed Trump’s tariff threat, saying, “Caravans of migrants no longer reach the border.” JUST IN: Mexican President Addresses Trump Tariff Threat, Migrant Caravans Will “No Longer Reach The Border”
