Your Money Problems Are Imaginary, the White House Claims. The Facts Say Otherwise.

Your Money Problems Are Imaginary, the White House Claims. The Facts Say Otherwise.

Millions of Americans are struggling to afford necessities like food, rent, insurance, and a car payment. But if you’re one of them, don’t expect any understanding from the White House and its sycophants in the media. They say your financial pain is all in your head. As an MSNBC host put it, Americans need “an economic explainer,” since “people are confused” about their financial situation. They’re actually “doing quite well,” she laughably asserted. That will surprise the half of Americans who are struggling to make their rent or mortgage payments on time, especially the one-fifth of renters who are skipping meals to stay current, or the 65% of Americans who say their finances have deteriorated over the last year because of inflation. Similarly, when President Joe Biden was told by an interviewer that food prices are up 30% in four years, he blithely dismissed it. American families, he claimed, “have more money to spend.” But that’s simply not true, and the Biden administration’s own data prove it. The average American worker’s weekly paycheck has risen about 14% under Biden, which is less than the 20% general inflation rate and even less than the 30% inflation rate for food, which is what Biden was asked about. But the falsehoods don’t stop there. Both the president and his lead economic adviser, Jared Bernstein, have fallaciously claimed in multiple interviews that inflation was 9% when Biden took office. Again, the administration’s own data disprove this talking point. Inflation was only 1.4% at Biden’s inauguration. When confronted with this fact, Bernstein retorted with another lie: that inflation, excluding food and energy prices, was at 9% in the second quarter of 2021. Again, the Biden administration’s own data disproves this. The inflation Berstein referenced, “core” inflation, was 3.7% at that time. Furthermore, Biden didn’t take office in the second quarter of 2021, but in the start of the first quarter. At that time, even the core inflation rate that Bernstein referenced was 1.4%—the same as the overall inflation rate. Not to be dissuaded by the facts, Bernstein then pivoted to excusing the inflation rate entirely, claiming people are better off because their earnings are now rising faster than prices. Apparently, Bernstein is completely unfamiliar with any statistics produced by his colleagues. In April—the most recent data available—prices rose faster than the average weekly paycheck. What that weekly paycheck can actually buy has fallen 4.4% since Biden took office, costing the typical American family thousands of dollars annually in lost purchasing power. Add in the additional borrowing costs from today’s higher interest rates, and that is thousands more in financial pain. The combined effect has been the equivalent of reducing the typical American family’s annual income by $8,100. But it seems no figures or statistics can change the mind of the political elites when it comes to inflation and how much Americans are hurting today. Never mind that the price of common foodstuffs like eggs, bread, and peanut butter has risen 35% under Biden—the pain is all in your head. The Biden administration’s and its media lapdogs’ dismissive attitude to the financial plight of the American people adds insult to injury. Nothing is more elitist than telling working-class folks that their problems are imaginary. American families have soured on Bidenomics not because of rhetoric, but because of reality. The spendthrift policies of this administration and its congressional allies have created a cost-of-living crisis, which is why millions of Americans are demanding a change in direction. Much like the average weekly paycheck, you might say the president’s poll numbers have been adjusted down for inflation. Lazy Gaza? Leftie Pop Star Rejects White House 'Pride' Invite

During her set at the New York’s Governors Ball festival on Sunday, singer Chappell Roan, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, told the audience that she declined an invitation to sing at a White House "Pride" event, noting that our nation doesn’t honor “liberty and justice for all.” It really is comical when the left goes after the left. Roan was painted head-to-toe in green paint and sported a green wig in a supposed effort to look like the Statue of Liberty. “In response to the White House, who asked me to perform for Pride: we want liberty, justice and freedom for all. When you do that, that’s when I’ll come,” Roan told the crowd as she began her song entitled, “My Kink is Karma.” Later, as Variety reported, Roan told the crowd, “I am in drag of the biggest queen of all. But in case you had forgotten what’s etched on my pretty little toes, ‘Give me your tired, your poor; your huddled masses yearning to breath free," referencing the poem that’s etched at the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty in New York. “That means freedom and trans rights, that means freedom and women’s rights, and it especially means freedom for all people in oppressed, Roan said as she began tearing up, concluding, “It especially means freedom for oppressed people in occupied territories.” chappell roan not only talking about but getting emotional while speaking about all the oppressed people on occupied lands oh let me stan immediately pic.twitter.com/EgfLXkB2tI — ave (@grandykerenee) June 10, 2024 The audience, predictably, cheered in approval. Roan, who was raised in a Christian home in Missouri, has been vocal about the gays for a while now, telling Variety last year, “I love the queer community." Yet, she didn’t want to sing for the White House "Pride" event, as she doesn't think our administration is doing enough to push the LGBTQ agenda. Related: Video Shows 'Pride' Mural Covered in Tire Marks Two Days After Repainting In response to her decision to turn down the White House’s offer, fans cheered her via X.  “Oh I f**king love Chappell Roan,” a user wrote on X when sharing a video from the concert. “Wait this is so iconic,” one user commented. “I just keep loving her more” another said while one called her a “queen.” oh i fucking love chappell roan. pic.twitter.com/sWZD1LEUIU — Ari ?ྀི (@arianasupland) June 9, 2024 On the contrary, some people wrote that Roan was “ignorant,” and another said, “this is just performative dog s**t.” One more accused Roan of having a “low IQ.” The thing is, Roan isn’t even that famous (or that good). To be honest, this is the first time I’ve ever heard of her, but her social justice warrior stance may have been just the thing she needed to become relevant with the social justice warrior fans from whom she desperately wants attention. Not that I’d be watching the White House event either - but still, I’m glad she’s not going. Follow MRCTV on X! NewsBusters Podcast: Morning Mika Rips Fox News For Deciding Trump's NOT a Dictator

On 'Morning Joe,' Mika Brzezinski ripped Fox News for deciding Trump is not a dictator-in-waiting. He only joked with Sean Hannity about being a "dictator" on Day One. Trump is insane, she said, and "loves dictators and wants to be one." So you have to vote for Biden because only he "endorses democracy."  “One on the right who promises to be a dictator, who promises to exact retribution on anybody who made him angry or held him accountable. And one on the left who, again, you may not agree with his policies and his legislation, even though he has accomplished more than most modern, if not all modern American presidents, he endorses democracy, agrees with democracy. He wants to preserve our democracy. There is the choice. We've heard it a million times.” It's bad enough that Ronald Reagan sort of ended the Cold War, but even Bill Clinton and Barack Obama might have a beef.  From there, Mika went on a tear against Fox News.  MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Yet on Fox News, I watched a segment about whether or not Trump would be a dictator. After running a number of soundbites of people concerned about things he has said, because he promises to do things that are like acts committed by a dictator or even says he will be one, and then some person on the right who says, there is no proof he said it. Then a soundbite of Sean Hannity asking him, would you be a dictator, Trump not answering the question, and then the host saying, "there, it's settled. He's not going to be a dictator, we'll be right back". I have to say it, so many people are influenced by what they watch on Fox News, and they're not giving a clear picture. Yet, moving forward, is it not clear, the picture? Am I crazy? Because I have eyes. I see one person who doesn't seem at all sane, who love dictators and wants to be one, and another who is getting a little older but, quite frankly, doing quite well on the world stage under pretty tough circumstances. Answering questions on his own with no teleprompter and sounding just fine, thank you. Finally, we discuss how the networks aided Biden by playing up how he'd visit a cemetery for American fighters in World War I in France that Trump allegedly skipped because he called American war dead "suckers" and "losers." That was the claim from The Atlantic magazine, which has showily endorsed Trump's opponents in the last two elections. ABC's press-secretary wannabe Mary Bruce concluded: "Trump denies ever saying that, but Biden often repeats the story an example of the stark differences between them." It doesn't matter if anyone can prove the comments were actually uttered.  Enjoy the podcast below, or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Son of Hamas founder tells all; shocks Jordan Peterson with brutal facts

What does “intifada” really mean? Mosab Hassan Yousef has an answer that no one would have expected from the son of a co-founder of Hamas. “Chaos,” he tells Jordan Peterson. “People call it uprising, but the very definition, not only of intifada, of Palestine — very similar definitions. It’s chaos, it’s disorder, it’s anti-establishment.” “They came up with the idea to engineer the intifada. They wanted trouble, but from within. They knew that this could be a lot more effective than trying to destroy Israel from outside, and they sent children to die.” “This has been their mechanism, their strategy,” he continues, adding, “When I say ‘they,’ all those who are complicit in this continuous crime. All those who sacrifice children for power and for money. It’s a fundamental part of that culture we have to understand.” Yousef went on to explain that those who sacrifice children do not feel bad about it. “It’s acceptable in that culture,” he explains. Dave Rubin couldn’t agree more. “The point there is that there is a movement of chaos. Let’s remove geopolitics, let’s remove the religious part,” Rubin says. “There is now a movement inside the United States of America where masked people calling for ‘intifada’; they’re calling for revolution here. They are using violence. They are breaking the law by burning down buildings and going after monuments and closing roads and all of those things.” “And just wait till they escalate further,” he warns.
