The ultimate souvenir for any Morgan Wallen fan. I know that memorabilia collectors can go crazy and drop some pretty insane money for the right items. Hell, I saw that the ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz recently sold for something like $30 million, which just seems stupid to me. But then again I've never been big on collecting autographs or memorabilia or anything that I can't really use, so I guess I just don't understand that world. There are a lot of people who collect souvenirs from artists though. Any from autographs to setlists, drumsticks, whatever they can get their hands on that their favorite artist might have touched, there's probably going to be a market for. But what about dirt? A Nashville area man recently posted on Facebook offering a...unique collectible for Morgan Wallen fans: Some dirt from underneath the deck of the home in which the country music superstar used to live. Now, I think the post was offering the dirt more for landscaping or construction purposes, but he made sure to throw in the clay's connection to the famous singer: "It's from underneath the deck where Morgan Wallen previously lived." A source from the neighborhood confirmed to Whiskey Riff that, yes, Morgan Wallen did in fact rent a house there back in the day with his band when he was first starting out in the music business, so it appears that the dirt is authentic in its connection to the "Last Night" singer. A true piece of Morgan Wallen history. The post doesn't say whether the guy is offering to sell the dirt or just give it away to get rid of it, but you've gotta think if he bottled that up and threw a couple up on eBay, he'd at least get some bids on it to cover his gas for a couple days. Now, it may not be the most valuable Morgan Wallen souvenir out there. And since I'm not really a memorabilia collector, I can't tell you how much you could get out of the dirt from underneath the deck of a house that Morgan Wallen once lived in. But since it's not the most famous of his houses (it's not the house from the infamous video...you know the one) I'm not really sure how much of a market there would be or how much his connection to the dirt would increase the price. I did some quick research, and it looks like there are plenty of Morgan Wallen autographs on eBay, ranging from about $40 all the way up to thousands of dollars (which, again, is stupid to me), but it doesn't look like anybody else is offering dirt from the singer's former home, meaning this is truly one of the most unique Morgan Wallen collectibles out there. And hey, if there are people who want an artist's sweaty towel or an empty beer can that they threw into the crowd during a show, surely somebody would pay SOMETHING for Morgan Wallen's dirt, right?
