Nearly two-thirds of middle-class Americans are struggling with their finances under President Joe Biden’s economy, according to a poll from the National True Cost of Living Coalition. The poll surveyed 2,500 Americans. Among the middle-class respondents, defined as household incomes of at least $60,000 for a family of four, 65% said they are struggling financially, Bloomberg reported. The poll also found that one in five Americans with household incomes of more than $150,000 for a family of four worry about paying their bills. “The economy is booming, and yet many Americans are still gasping for air financially,” said Jennifer Jones Austin, chief executive officer of the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies, which helped commission the poll. “They simply don’t have the breathing room to plan beyond their present needs.” While the U.S. has seen job growth under Biden following business closures during the COVID pandemic, the inflation rate remains higher than when the president took office in January of 2021. Under most of President Donald Trump’s one term in office, inflation hovered around 2%. The inflation rate was just 1.4% in early 2021 when Biden took over before it jumped to 7% by December of that year. In June of 2022, inflation reached a peak rate of 9.1% before it dropped again, and it now stands at 3.4%. President Biden has argued that skyrocketing inflation under his administration is due to the aftershock of the COVID pandemic and the policies of his predecessor. Biden even falsely claimed that the inflation rate was already at 9% “when I came to office.” According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), “supply-chain disruptions” were a large part of the considerable inflation increase in Bidens’ first year before “energy price shocks” became “the primary cause of the high inflation rates from late 2021 to the middle of 2022.” Inflation has driven up the prices of food, gas, and housing. The economic struggles of American families have made it difficult for many people to add to their savings, according to the National True Cost of Living Coalition poll. Forty-six percent of those surveyed said they did not have $500 saved — troubling findings reflect some results from the Federal Reserve’s annual survey published last month. While numerous media outlets and the Department of Justice have previously concluded that the Hunter Biden laptop was real, the trial of the president’s son has further confirmed its legitimacy. Prosecutors on Tuesday held up the infamous laptop, which Hunter left at a Delaware repair shop in 2019 and was the subject of a bombshell New York Post report in the month before the 2020 election. FBI agent Erika Jensen testified in court that the agency had verified the laptop as belonging to Hunter through its serial number and records from Apple, CNN reported. The prosecution further shared images from the laptop and Hunter’s iCloud account showing him half- or fully nude, holding crack pipes, and with a bong in the background. On Wednesday, Jensen testified that no tampering had occurred with Hunter’s laptop, replying “no” when asked by the prosecution on redirect if she had seen any evidence of tampering, according to Breitbart reporter Wendell Husebo. The laptop’s authenticity is important because many in President Joe Biden’s camp attempted to discredit the Post’s original reporting in October 2020. The computer revealed evidence that Hunter introduced his father – then vice president of the U.S. – to a Ukrainian businessman less than a year before Joe pressured Ukrainian government officials to fire a prosecutor investigating the businessman’s company. This meeting took place a year after Hunter was inexplicably hired to the board of a Ukrainian energy firm and paid up to $50,000 a month. Following the Post’s reporting, Big Tech companies, including Twitter (now X) and Facebook, worked to suppress the story. Documents released in December 2022 by X CEO Elon Musk revealed that the FBI paid Twitter millions of dollars for its “legal process response.” They repeatedly warned its company’s executives to censor the story. Those officials, including former CIA directors Michael Hayden and John Brennan, as well as ex-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, have refused to apologize or admit they were wrong. Hunter is charged with lying on a form in order to purchase a handgun in October 2018. Because Hunter is a drug addict, he should have checked a box indicating such, and not doing so amounted to making a false statement material to a firearms sale and making a false statement in a firearms transaction record, Reuters reported. Those are the first two charges against Hunter. The third relates to Hunter violating a law banning drug users and addicts from possessing firearms. In addition to the charges Hunter faces in Delaware, he is also accused of evading taxes in California.

CHICAGO — The battalion of strollers present in Chicago’s Millennium Park on Sunday alongside men in drag who went by names like “Fabulous Freddie” was not an unfortunate coincidence. In fact, the day was designed to get as many toddlers in attendance as possible. The opening performance at the “Queer Fam Pride Jam” was by Jules Hoffman, who is famous for performing songs aimed at teaching infants and toddlers their first words on Ms. Rachel, the YouTube channel with nearly 10 million subscribers. The “songs for littles” performer, who sparked controversy when she instructed people to refer to her with the pronouns “they/them,” excitedly invited parents and their “littles” to see her free show. Hoffman performed the songs she’s famous with babies and their parents for, such as “Crabby Crab.” But making it to the stage wasn’t exactly kid-friendly. After I made my way through security alongside dozens of stroller-wielding families, I entered a packed tent where everyone appeared to be either forty or under four. One of the first tables that greeted attendees was manned by a drag queen in a pink shawl, tight green spandex, and a frizzy wig offering “drag makeovers” for kids. The line grew long, with children and toddlers uneasy as their parents walked them up to the man in drag, who held the chin of a child steady as he applied red paint to his brow. The booth foreshadowed the rest of the day, which prominently featured three different drag performers who danced for the children, with one even accepting a dollar bill from a child as he suggestively danced. The event had the stamp of approval from both corporate sponsors such as Lululemon, but also the city itself. The city’s mayor Brandon Johnson took the stage after Hoffman’s opening set to declare June as “one of the most important months,” and wish the crowd a “happy queer family month.” The feature performance was the “drag extravaganza,” hosted by the “Chicago Drag Superstars.” After a late start due to the tardiness of “Boogie McLarin,” the house music dance instructor, the first drag performer came out to a Spice Girls song while donning a leopard print one-piece outfit. That didn’t last long — he opened his performance by dramatically tearing it off to reveal a tight-fitting brown, one-piece spandex outfit, interspersed with pink sparkles. He too jumped to the floor to dance amid the crowd of children that lined the stage. Each child, one by one, walked the runway as Freddie instructed them to “vogue” along with him. While many of the children looked confused or uninterested, the adults in attendance loudly cheered — it was, after all, them who decided to bring children to such an event. While some of the vendors who lined the inside of the venue hoped to sell food, drinks, or thrifted clothing, others were more on-brand. A number of different LGBT children’s books were also on sale at the event, including “Our Rainbow,” which explained the meaning of the colors of the pride flag, and “Being You,” a picture book that includes drawings of small children declaring, “I’m trans!” Another table passed out business cards for the Center on Halsted, which calls itself “the Midwest’s largest LGBTQ social service agency.” The organization solicits donations for breast binders and recently hosted a summit for “trans youth and family,” which included discussion on the use of cross-sex hormones, which threaten to sterilize users. Though similar events have been hosted across the nation, it isn’t surprising that such a gathering was hosted in Chicago, which itself has become ground zero for the movement to medically transition children. Just a mile away from the park that hosted that Queer Fam Pride Jam looms the shadow of one of the country’s most notorious child transgender clinics, at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital. Illinois’ Democrat Governor, J.B. Pritzker, is related to perhaps the single most impactful transgender benefactor in the country, Jennifer Pritzker. The city is dominated by landmarks that bear the name of the billionaire family: Pritzker Park, Pritzker Elementary School, Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo, Pritzker College Prep, and Pritzker Military Museum and Library. Jennifer Pritzker’s Tawani Foundation has continuously bankrolled programs that seek to advance not just transgenderism, but transgender identity among children. One $25,000 grant from the Tawani Foundation went to an overnight summer camp specifically for children as young as eight years old who identify as transgender. The Pritzkers gave $500,000 to the Lurie Hospital Gender Clinic, which sees those as young as four years old. The hospital’s gender clinic partnered with local school districts to promote transgenderism to students, creating what some have called a “school-to-clinic pipeline.” With the emergence of events like Chicago’s Queer Fam Pride Jam, that pipeline appears to be extending before kids are even old enough to attend school. Ms. Rachel’s intended audience, targeted by the event with the inclusion of Hoffman, is babies and toddlers who can’t even talk.

Someone caught the sweetest video of this once-in-a-lifetime moment and posted it to social media. It’s amazing to see father and child getting to know each other. This clip is so adorable, we could watch it again and again! In the footage, the grown-up golden retriever leaned in to meet his puppy in the most dog way possible. He started sniffing the little pooch’s face! We’re not sure if this was because they were napping, or because they hadn’t opened their eyes yet. After all, this pup did look pretty young! According to The Spruce Pets, dogs don’t actually open their eyes for about 10-16 days. Even then, their vision isn’t fully developed. Typically, it takes about eight weeks for puppies to be able to see completely clearly. The same goes for their hearing, which doesn’t develop for five weeks. They grow up so fast… Screengrab from Instagram In contrast to this sweet clip of a golden retriever getting to meet his puppy for the first time, there was a second, more chaotic video in the same Instagram carousel. We’re not sure if this was the same little pup from the previous footage, since this account seems to post golden retriever content from many different sources. However, it’s an excellent example of how quickly these babies can grow up! The follow-up video showed a naughty dog who had just gotten into the trash. While still a puppy, this golden retriever was obviously quite a bit older than the newborn in the other clip. This pooch had gotten garbage everywhere, including all over their face!
