Hey, give 'em credit for that reaction time. If you've been to a Zach Bryan concert, you know that the highlight of the show is his epic closer, "Revival." You never know who Zach will bring on stage to sing with him, from football players like Justin Herbert and Daniel Jones to fellow artists like Bruce Springsteen or Sexyy Red, and pretty much everybody in between (like the Hawk Tuah girl). And the 30-minute song also contains some surprises from the band if you've never seen it before... During the band introductions, Zach's incredible steel guitar and banjo player Read "Two Show" Connolly puts on quite the show for the fans, pretending to faint as the crew frantically tries to "revive" him, before bouncing back up and launching into an incredible solo. It's all part of the act but it catches folks off guard if they're not expecting it - including, apparently, the venue's paramedics. During a recent show in Tacoma, Washington, Connolly began to "faint" on stage during his introduction and some quick-acting paramedics began to spring into action, rushing towards the stage to provide assistance...before realizing that it was all part of the act. As they walked back to their station, one of the paramedics joked: "They should tell us that's part of the act." Yeah, but that would ruin the fun of it. https://www.tiktok.com/@cdemp69/video/7440525679805943095 Of course Connolly was fine and proceeded to deliver a face-melting banjo solo, but at least we know that the Tacoma Dome has some great paramedics who are ready to jump in quick. The show in Tacoma is one of the last that Zach has on the books for the foreseeable future. As he wraps up his Quittin' Time tour, the country music superstar announced that he would quit touring after being accepted to get his masters degree in Paris next year. But that doesn't mean he's stepping away from performing entirely in 2025. He recently announced a three night run of shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey with Kings of Leon next summer, and he also will be performing two nights at Hyde Park in London in June 2025. (I guess since he'll already be in Paris getting his degree it'll be a short trip for him over to London). Zach has long said that the Quittin' Time tour would be his last official "tour," though it still seems that he plans to play standalone concerts. And he's also been in the studio quite a bit, dropping two new songs in recent weeks with "This World's A Giant" and "High Road." And he recently revealed that he was in the studio recording new music for "40 hours straight," so it sounds like he's going to be dropping quite a bit of new stuff while he's off the road. Of course everybody's anxious to hear the new music that comes out of his messy breakup with Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry, who claimed on her podcast that Zach cheated on her and was emotionally abusive during their relationship. But maybe some time off the road and away from the stress of being a superstar in a new city every week is what he needs to work on himself. Either way, it'll be interesting to see what we get from Zach in 2025.
