Latest breach comes amid mounting concerns over an increase of security incidents involving foreign nationals at and around military facilities across the U.S. A major military base in Texas was locked down after a smuggler carrying illegal aliens crashed through multiple gates and escaped on foot, according to reports. The incident unfolded on Friday morning at Laughlin Air Force Base near Del Rio, TX. Authorities told NewsNation correspondent Ali Bradley that at least five illegal aliens climbed into a vehicle near Eagle Pass and then began to evade Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) troopers. While sources initially told Bradley the suspect and most of the passangers had been apprehended, TxDPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez later clarified that all occupants were still at large. The lockdown order was lifted at Laughlin but neither the suspect nor the illegals have been located, according to the latest available updates.
