A 2-year-old math enthusiast is going viral for his jaw-dropping number skills. An adorable toddler named Devan visited the stage of America’s Got Talent, which premieres tonight (May 28), to showcase his math skills for judges Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel. Devan auditioned for a spot as a contestant this season. While we don’t know if he was successful yet, a preview of his apperance proves that the 2-year-old is a tiny genius. Then they gradually made the equations more challenging. The video doesn’t reveal if Devan answers his final questions correctly. We have to tune in to see how it turns out. The 2-Year-Old Started Showing Interest In Math At Only 4 Months Old Devan has been amassing amazed fans with his Instagram and TikTok accounts, Devan Loves Numbers. He currently has almost 900K followers on IG. And he has over 1.3 million on TikTok, which is how he ended up on the show. “We had posted him on TikTok and it went viral,” Devan’s dad, Duane, told Long Island Press. “One of the producers had seen it and reached out to us saying he thought Devan was a good fit for America’s Got Talent.” “At first, we thought America’s Got Talent was only for singers and acting performances. And I was not sure how a 2-year-old doing math would be on the show,” he continued. “But, Devan assured us that he would be great.” Duane shared that his son has been into numbers for nearly his entire life. His parents noticed Devan’s curiosity when he was only a few months old. “At 4 months old we realized his love for numbers,” Duane continued. “When we were showing him learning shows, if we would change the channel from the math shows, he would start to cry and when we would change it back he would stop.” The tot is currently mastering subtraction, addition, division, and multiplication. He’s also doing well with Roman numerals and exponents. “It is never too early to start teaching your child numbers. Devan is proof of that. And we just want to inspire kids, parents, and soon-to-be parents that when you start from an early age this is the result that you will get,” he noted.
