Democrats Sold 2024 as ‘Last Election,’ but Now Promise ‘Peaceful Transfer’ of Power?

John Adams demonstrated what a transfer of power ought to look like in America when he handed over the presidency to his successor, Thomas Jefferson.   The 1800 presidential race between Adams and Jefferson was an intense battle between two friends-turned-adversaries. But despite a contentious press and a heated political climate, neither the Federalists nor the Democratic-Republicans saw the election as the last of its kind.

Arrest warrants issued for Netanyahu, Gallant and Hamas commander over alleged war crimes

Judges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) have issued arrest warrants for Israel’s prime minister and former defence minister, as well as Hamas's military commander. A statement said a pre-trial chamber had rejected Israel’s challenges to the court’s jurisdiction and issued warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant. A warrant was also issued for Mohammed Deif, although the Israeli military has said he was killed in an air strike in Gaza in July.

Scoop: Mike Johnson's recess surprise

Some House Republicans are prepared to block President-elect Trump from using a recess appointment on attorney general nominee Matt Gaetz. Why it matters: In the case of recess appointments, the House can use a procedural trick to block a president from bypassing the Senate. Several House Republicans would vote against any motion to go into recess, Axios has learned. Trump's plan to circumvent the Senate's "advice and consent" role is complicated, but...

Laken Riley's murderer deserves the death penalty

Laken Riley died at the hands of a violent monster. Joe Biden and the open-borders industrial complex, including leftist sanctuary city policies, led her right into his hands. Among those policies is that of the feckless "Soros-style" Athens district attorney who entered office vowing never to seek the death penalty. Jose Ibarra entered the United States illegally. He received taxpayer-funded flights. He got housing and protection from law enforcement upon arrival. But when he stalked and...

Google Could Be Forced To Sell Chrome Over Search Monopoly Claims

The U.S. Department of Justice has proposed a historic breakup of Google, aiming to compel the tech giant to sell its Chrome web browser and prevent its Android operating system from favoring its own search engine. The move comes after a federal court ruled in August that Google had maintained an abusive monopoly over the online search market for the past decade.

Comcast to spin off portfolio of cable networks including MSNBC and CNBC

The US telecommunications giant Comcast announced plans to spin off cable networks including MSNBC and E! as traditional TV audiences continue to dwindle. MSNBC, E!, CNBC, USA, Oxygen, SYFY and the Golf Channel will form part of a new, publicly traded company, while Comcast focuses on brands including NBC and Bravo. “When you look at our assets, talented management team and balance sheet strength, we are able to set these businesses up for future growth,” said Brian L Roberts,...

18 Of 19 States Harris Won Appear To Share One Major Risk To Election Integrity

Of the 19 states won by Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential election, 18 of them don’t require voters to show photo identification to vote, according to a National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) review of laws in effect as of April 2024. No, Harris didn’t win only states without voter ID laws while Trump only won in states with them

Although Vice President Kamala Harris failed in her bid to become president, some social media posts cast doubt on the legitimacy of her success in the states she did win over President-elect Donald Trump. "Kamala Harris only won the states that don’t require voter ID," a Nov. 10 Instagram post said. "Ironic." In a Nov. 11 Instagram post, actor Steve Hanks said, "Kamala lost every state that requires voter ID. Kamala won every state that does not require voter ID. I’m going...

Women’s facilities at Capitol complex reserved for biological females, House Speaker Johnson declares as Congress readies to swear in first trans rep

House Speaker Mike Johnson declared Wednesday that women’s facilities in the Capitol complex are reserved for biological females, as Congress is poised to swear in its first openly transgender rep. “All single-sex facilities in the Capitol and House Office Buildings — such as restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms — are reserved for individuals of that biological sex,” Johnson (R-La.) said in a statement. “It is important to note that each Member office has its own private...

ICC rejects Israeli appeals, issues arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu, Yoav Gallant

The International Criminal Court (ICC) rejected challenges from Israel and issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Thursday. The ICC charged Netanyahu and Gallant with "crimes against humanity and war crimes," including using starvation as a method of warfare and targeting civilians. Israeli President Isaac Herzog condemned the move in a statement on Thursday. "Taken in bad faith, the outrageous decision at...
