Politicized Vatican Nativity Scene Sparks Backlash Against Pope Francis: 'There Are No Words'

If Pope Francis hasn't given you enough reasons to believe that the Roman Catholic Church, under his guidance, has become a deeply politicized institution, he's certainly trying to pile on a few more this Christmas. Yes, the birth of Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior, should be one of those things...

Democratic Congressman Pens Racist 'Dear White People' Message: 'Some of You Are Too Far Gone'

This writer regrets to inform you that leftists and Democrats were actually right. Rampant racism and deeply embedded bigotry are alive and thriving in this country. The left has been tragically correct on this matter. They just haven't been particularly forthcoming about where all that racism and bigotry is coming from. Spoiler...

County Board Of Supervisors Vote To Become ‘Super Sanctuary’ County – Sheriff Announces Position

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 3-1 to enact a policy to become a ‘Super Sanctuary’ county. “The San Diego County Board of Supervisors just voted 3-1 to enact this policy & become a ‘Super Sanctuary’ county, prohibiting all cooperation with ICE, even on serious crimes like rape, & going further than CA sanctuary state law,” Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin said. “Republican @jim_desmond only no vote,” he noted. BREAKING: The San Diego County Board of Supervisors just voted 3-1 to enact this policy & become a “Super Sanctuary” county, prohibiting all cooperation with ICE, even on serious crimes like rape, & going further than CA sanctuary state law. Republican @jim_desmond only no vote. https://t.co/P8Tvsw63rh — Bill Melugin (@BillMelugin_) December 10, 2024 “The Democrat Chairwoman of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors has introduced a resolution that would prohibit all county cooperation w/ ICE, including notifying ICE about release dates for criminal illegal immigrants. The policy would go further than CA’s sanctuary state law, which she says ‘fell short of protecting all residents,'” Melugin previously said. “Shall not provide assistance or cooperation to ICE in its civil immigration enforcement efforts including by giving ICE agents access to individuals or allowing them to use County facilities for investigative interviews or other purposes, expending County time or resources responding to ICE inquiries or communicating with ICE regarding individuals’ incarceration status or release dates, or otherwise participating in any civil immigration enforcement activities,” the resolution reads, according to Melugin. “Sanctuary policies are reckless and dangerous, putting innocent lives at risk. Every American family deserves safety. No community should suffer the heartbreak of losing a loved one due to politically driven policies that protect criminals instead of holding them accountable,” Republican San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond said. * Images from Bill Melugin X Post * NBC 7 San Diego reports: The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 3-1 Tuesday to restrict the use of county resources for federal immigration enforcement. Board Chairwoman Nora Vargas said the policy “is designed to ensure local resources are focused on addressing the County’s most urgent needs, while protecting families and promoting community trust.” “Immigration enforcement is a federal responsibility, and our county will not be a tool for policies that hurt our residents,” said Vargas, who made the proposal. The policy directs the chief administrative officer to “report back within 180 days on the data related to any transfers or notifications during the past year to federal immigration authorities and provide recommendations” on how to effectively carry out the policy, according to a board letter. The board letter states that “immigrant communities form an integral part of our county’s social fabric. When federal immigration authorities, including the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and U.S. Border Patrol, coerces local law enforcement to carry out deportations, family members are separated and community trust in law enforcement and local government is destroyed.” WATCH: BREAKING: The San Diego County Board of Supervisors just voted 3-1 to turn the county into a "super" sanctuary county by shielding illegals from deportation and preventing police from notifying ICE about dangerous illegals in custody.pic.twitter.com/ApINL5CtRy — Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) December 11, 2024 “San Diego County Sheriff Kelly Martinez announces she will not adhere to the ‘super sanctuary’ policy approved by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors today, pointing out that she is an independently elected official, the Board does not set policy for her office, and she has exclusive authority over county jails. She adds that California state law is clear on when local law enforcement can cooperate with ICE, and that there is no ‘loophole’ in the law as claimed by Nora Vargas, the Democrat Chair of the San Diego County Supervisors who introduced the policy,” Melugin said. “Essentially, the Sheriff just called out the Democrats on the Board for virtue signaling, saying she had made her position clear and they knew she would not adhere to this policy before they voted 3-1 to approve it, with the lone no vote coming from Republican @jim_desmond,” he added. The Board of Supervisors’ 3-1 vote to embrace this radical policy is a direct betrayal of the people we are sworn to protect. “This reckless measure not only goes far beyond California’s already extreme Sanctuary State laws but actively endangers our communities by shielding illegal immigrant criminals from deportation.” San Diego County, home to 3.3 million residents and situated along the U.S.-Mexico border, stands out as one of the more notable local governments enhancing protections for undocumented immigrants. California possesses the second-largest state Justice Department in the U.S., ensuring it is uniquely equipped to square off against Trump’s new administration. Shortly after Trump’s electoral victory, Governor Gavin Newsom called a special session of the state legislature. The special session was intended to tackle a range of issues, including protecting immigrant families, ensuring reproductive freedom, safeguarding civil rights and securing California’s financial interests, particularly in the face of threats to withhold federal funding.

FBI, DHS Have Yet To Provide Docs On 2nd Trump Assassination Attempt

The House task force investigating the multiple attempts to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump released its final report on Tuesday, finding that the attack on Trump during a campaign rally at Butler, Pennsylvania, was entirely preventable. The task force said that the July 13 assassination attempt by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was enabled by a number of errors leading up to the rally and the day of the attack. These mistakes included failing to secure the rally site, technological issues, and a “fragmented” communication structure.  “The Task Force found that the tragic and shocking events in Butler, Pennsylvania were preventable and should not have happened,” the 180-page report said. “The various failures in planning, execution, and leadership on and before July 13, 2024, and the preexisting conditions that undermined the effectiveness of the human and material assets deployed that day, coalesced to create an environment in which the former President—and everyone at the campaign event—were exposed to grave danger.” These failures led to Trump being shot in the ear, two rally attendees being shot, and 50-year-old Corey Comperatore being killed. Many of the findings of the final report mirror the interim report the task force released in October. The bipartisan panel was first formed on July 25 to investigate the Butler attack but was later given authority to expand its investigation to include the second attempt on Trump’s life in Florida on September 15. In that incident, a man hid in the bushes with a gun outside the Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach.  After noticing the man in the bushes, a Secret Service agent opened fire and the man fled. Ryan Routh, the man accused in that attack, was arrested and is currently awaiting trial.  “Conversely, the events that transpired on September 15, 2024, in West Palm Beach, Florida, demonstrated how properly executed protective measures can foil an attempted assassination,” the report said, comparing the two situations.  CHECK OUT THE DAILY WIRE HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE Led by Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA), the committee visited West Palm Beach on November 16 as part of its probe. The lawmakers added that multiple federal agencies had yet to provide them with information on a second assassination attempt. “The Task Force notes that as of the date of publication of this report, DHS, USSS, FBI, and ATF have not produced any documents responsive to the Task Force’s requests regarding the preparation for, events of, and response to the second assassination attempt that occurred on September 15,” the lawmakers wrote.  Other reports from the Senate and an independent panel created by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas have found the Secret Service at fault for the Butler rally.
